I think it’s true though that people are losing interest with Bitcoin especially after the $20000 peak way back 2017.
That's not true, if some people panic because of that long correction, the smart whales are just accumulating what they have dump because this market again will have a new great bull market in the long run, if they believe in bitcoin, there is no reason to panic even if it dump because bitcoin will continue to exist and at the right time, it will make ATH after ATH.
It seems to me that still a lot of cryptocurrency users are confused, because they lose confidence in the future prospects of bitcoin.  To date, there are quite a lot of coins that can be better than Bitcoin in technical specifications, such as Ethereum.  I believe that today Bitcoin looks very valuable due to its volatility, but I would like to see Bitcoin, which is very actively used in practice around the world.  This would increase its value many times, but because of its instability, even the legalization of bitcoin is a big question.

I think there are a lot of people who are losing interest in bitcoin. And I think that is because of the current situation of the prices. They don't think it is profitable enough that is why a lot of people are dumping their funds and just quit entirely.

It will surely become hype again once the value of bitcoin pumps up and it will become trend once the halving is completed by next year. That's it is recommended to accumulate while value is still cheap but it might go much dip so we could wait and take advantage.

And people loss interest in bitcoin because it plummets really hard last year 2017. That's why it really affect the value maybe only less people are still investing and ICO are also the reason because some projects are scam.

Considering how many cryptocurrencies are in there right now in the market and how affordable it Is for some people to trade in them and hoping it would go like Bitcoins they are in general more interested in those but at the same time people who are already in the Bitcoin's business knows better.
They are still into this and just waiting for the Bitcoins to grow and go up and if that doesn't work soon enough I think it would be a major set back.

I think nobody is loosing interest who already understands Bitcoin in a positive way the current market situation indicates that it's time to have patience so the smart investors are waiting for a right time for almost two and half years but some are getting panic that's why they are leaving on a wrong time but it does not matter. Those people who understand the value of Bitcoin, they won't loose interest on it even I think the graph of interest in Bitcoin is increasing almost everyday.

I think it’s true though that people are losing interest with Bitcoin especially after the $20000 peak way back 2017. I was one of those people since the market became so unstable and so as the months that precedes which the price crashes so low compare to the ATH. But you know, people would soon be interested again like me. The market is a little bit stable now compared before.

There seems to be a trend not yet recognized by many experts and that is the withering interest of the people on Bitcoin, especially if we compare today with the days of 2017 and early months of 2018. Of course, we could not expect that people will always like, search and talk about Bitcoin for years. There will always be a plateau and a possible downtrend, sometime somehow.

Is this something we have to accept or should we do something about this?

It is not because the price go down can cause the lose of interest by the investor. If you start at 2017 you can see the difference until now that it was high enough. They really hard to increase the price but it was totally high.
Trend of interested with bitcoin have decrease with many investor less trusted with bitcoin after price very low than how bitcoin higher price during end of 2017, many investor look confused with their investment, will bitcoin can back to higher price above how bitcoin price last 2017 or not, they still confused how to do cut lost or waiting bitcoin back again with the same value in 2017.
They are  losing their interest because bitcoin price now is low but not too low, people always has a high expectation in bitcoin, the thing is we all are, so that when bitcoin price doesnt meet our expectation it disappoint us and tend to lose our interests. But we need to overcome this, we might feel this way because we afraid to lose some in this market situation.

They are not losing interest, they are just looking for the right timing, They are likely to fall victim to a sudden collapse of bitcoin or ICO scams. I'm sure these people will come back again when they see that bitcoin prices are rising and this will happen when bitcoin halving comes.

So let's wait for this day as we can see bitcoin again on television, radio and newspapers

I consider that interest in Bitcoin has increased, obviously not at the level of what happened at the end of 2017, because that growth was record and everywhere I was talking about it, however, after the fall, Bitcoin demonstrated its strength and progress is being made with firm steps towards more practical use and greater market capitalization.

I see it more that people are doing the opposite, which is to gain interest not just in bitcoin but also in other cryptocurrency in the market. I a sense that, we already have our strong foundation in our respective government that will provide us more support than before when they are keep us out of the cryptocurrency to protect banks. Regarding this, one of the things to consider is to take this opportunity as positive and to take advantage of it through investing and utilizing crypto, as well as to promote it with our colleagues.

The trends come and go, that's their life story and the same is happening with bitcoin. People used to search a lot about bitcoin back in December 2017 when it's price peaked as shown by Google trends but that too went down a few months later. The trend of people searching about bitcoin increases with the increasing price of bitcoin and also decreases with decreasing price of bitcoin as per my theory.
When bitcoin price drops, people do panic thats why they loses their interest. They will sell their assests in exchange lower than the recent price so that they think they will get their money back and will not lose more than they have. But the thing is their losing interest will lose their money too.

They lose interest because the price of the bitcoin is now cheap. Back in 2017, all over the news there is a word "bitcoin" at that time the market is still bullish and the price of the bitcoin is expensive because it almost hit the price $20,000 per each.

For my own observation and opinion, my answer is yes. Definitely. The people of the crypto currency are continuesly leaving because of losing their interest with the current crypto market. If only the crypto market will boom again, then a lots of people will come back again, playing their own interest in crypto currencies.

For me, yes, some people are losing interest with bitcoin, especially to those ppl that got into bitcoin when the price is very high. The main reason is when bitcoin is costly many ppl thought that is easy money that you can earn a considerable profit easily without any effort. Also lack of knowledge about cryptocurrencies its nature, why the price is very fluctuating, etc. But then again, what do you expect to those ppl that don't want to make any effort. Smiley

On the contrary, it will also make people change their attitude towards bitcoin by just staying in the market because if they sell, they will lose in the end. It will also toughen individuals determination here, and will learn that bitcoin is not a get rich scheme, which I think majority reason why people are being suckered into bitcoin and crypto in general.

No, people still interested to bitcoin and still growing as time goes on, it doesn't measured based on the days in 2017 to early of 2018.
You can check how many new exchanges are opened every year, how many people sign up to major exchnages such as Binance and Coinbase every month, and check the daily trading volume, the trend is increases.
Cross checking all these tells how Bitcoin adoption is increasing gradually. People are rather gaining more interest in Bitcoin and that is why Bitcoinstill occupies the largest market cap and its dominance is about 60%. Bitcoin Halving which is set to happen in 2020 will bring more attention to Bitcoin on a world wide scale.
