It is of ignorance that we let ourselves be brainwashed. Brainwashing appear in a lot of forms that stray us from our principles, morals, righteousness, and etc. It is important to nurture ourselves from what is right and wrong; and educate ourselves so that we can't just be carried freely in the direction that the flow wants to take or to be. We have our own mind, heart, and will so we must use it and not let it rust and be wasted.

It is the price for our longing towards development. When development enters the screen our life becomes more convenient and that convenience limits our thinking since almost everything is instant. That is why people are no longer thinking critically but becomes totally dependent to technology. People have become equipped with knowledge but they become idiots.

People are no longer care about their civil liberties, they care about their standard of life. The modern world has outgrown notions like freedom. They are content to follow. The threat remains while free will exists.

 We've been the prisoner of the worldy ideas created by humans. Some of us resist and at the same time dying in that resistance. The wrongs of the world are clear yet people just follow like a dog because of the laws created by humans.
Are we brainwashed?
We're more than just brainwashed. We're molded like iron from the water and 🔥 making us a robot of society.

In the past, 5000 or 10 000 years ago, people didn't know much about world, natural laws etc.
Even at that time so called ''wizards or priests'' manipulated and brainwashed them.
Later, kings and his servants often manipulated people and today politicians and media.
We can't know everything, what is going on in the world.
So, we have no choice but to listen media or politicians.
Can we trust them?
When we see how many times they lied to us, I don't think so.
When something important happen, in my opinion, it's the best try to collect info from many different sources, and based on this find out what really happen.
Use your own brain and common sense.

Yes,we are caught under consumerism.We are always tempted to buy new products whether it is necessary for us or not.When iphone 5 is enough for us,we get temptation to buy iphone 6 and then to iphone 7.Its an endless journey.At last,our pockets will be empty and the company owners with filled pockets.

Well i kind of had the same thought also. It seems that we focus more nowadays in material belongings and social statuses. Gone are the days where respect, loyalty and dignity weighs a lot more than personal gains. I think the later generations would wind up this road were treading right now and its quite sad

around my living people already do not know anymore recognize good behavior even dare to even small children against the parents.

I think why should all this way all due invoices and era neighborhood is growing and that immorality can be seen on the internet by our successors.

Why as everything gone up so much..   Is it because of demand   like it suppose to be?.

It's gone up because politicians have an interest in what ever as gone up..

Like medicine how many percent as some drugs gone up    because of DEMAND?..

Now imagine your the politician who makes the money ?
when you die you give your money to your children?..

What happens if one of your cousins children get sick and need that medicine  that you put so much because your making money..

Your children wont give nothing to your cousins..
by the time your dead your children wont know your cousins children..

Now i really care for my cousins children BUT my daughter don't care because she doesn't really know them..

Now if i am in power what i do can affect my family without me knowing it..

HOW MUCH IS ENOUGH ..TOTAL CAPITALISM = TAKE IT ALL OF MY FELLOW HUMAN ..

See every leader thinks of a way to line there own pockets so it must involve taking public money some how..
So we all end up loosing if they keep doing this..

The main point was the government brain wash us ..
Because they say they are spending money on this that and tuther .

What will happen is the very rich will be able to hire security and the not so rich and the middle class will be getting robbed so much it's like a cancer..

When i was a child growing up on the street it was so wrong to hit a poor pensioner for his money
Now they do it for fun and rob him ..

And then they do public cuts and then invite immigrants to do this..

The government can only put out so much money each year and if the rich keep sucking it up
the more we need to borrow and borrow ..
and then one day we cannot borrow anymore and the rich loose because no one can buy..

Universal income keeps the money flow always..

Make more of the product     to compensate for all our universal income spending..

Robots will do it and so what humans still make a bit more of for us all..

Extra 1 hour work making the products      so we all get a universal income ..

I am so angry with my government..

We get told we are making so much money so the rich get greedy and greedy..

It's the few making so much money because it's SET UP THAT WAY..

One law i would put in practice for business ..

Imagine you set up a company in the uk and the average wage is £10 an hour..
I think you should not be able to move your company to another country unless you pay that countries people £10 an hour..So it stops a company leaving for cheap labour..

Now imagine they did move they can still sell that product on your markets if they pay £10 an hour
to the people in the country they moved business too..

But if they move to another country for cheaper labour then they should not be able to sell that product on your markets..

The company cut it's own people out for profits and as the cheek to want to sell his product to you..

Yes it's ok to move if you pay the same wages in AFRICA as you do in the UK..

Now how many will move business ..

Just think   if a big company can make 50p more to sell to the masses they will move..
Even though they are making good money they want more .
Because the share holders want more too..

So because of our greed we kill our own countries labour..

Now just imagine you want to sell to other countries if you set up in another country
you will lift that country out of poverty..
You be paying an African £10 an hour..

Or Universal income for all and just carry on how we live..
But everyone as a starting point to live..LESS STRESS.

I don't mean give everyone £1000 pounds just £200 pounds for the Uk just to pay a few bills
and live a bit no questions asked ..

Just give us the money and let us live our lives..

Money is a ticket for work done..well do more off it and give us some more tickets for the work done..

So someone doing this work?..YES THE ROBOTS

Money is a reward,  <  No it's not

People can work hard for a reward only to be rewarded with nothing..
Money is slavery ..We slave to get it.

You see in the 21st century people need to use their brains to be rewarded.
Like invent something everyone wants I.E Bill gates type of people.

Now we all know it's only the few who can accomplish this..

Now many many years ago the bread winners was a person called gaston
 no one was as big as gaston as bad as gaston.
And gaston could just take what he wanted because the strongest survived .

Most people respect the royals... Oh you must act like the royals..
Ok that means killing and robbing people of there money ..

It can be explained as Blue pill / Red pill situation, but i can't agree that we are just a mere number, and i care. First of all, only selfish people look on other people only like numbers, and that is wrong on so many levels. But most important thing here is that we don't lie to our self, and after that to other. It is bad and sad to see someone who lives in a lie, and i don't want that for my self. So that is why its important to take the "right pill" .

Yes we are indeed brainwashed. It started with the television, invented by the CIA as a means of mass-influence.

We are but a mere number but who cares?

It's really just a blue pill-red pill kinda thing.

People no longer need to fight for their basic freedoms, at least in most democracies. It just that consumerism is showing some of its unattractive aspects. One is "decision paralysis". "Oh all those bags, I want them all but can only buy one. But there's so many of them,". Then after that comes "buyer's remorse". "Could I have been more attractive to him had I used that rather than this?".

Now if you think this only applies to merchandise, you're wrong. How many of you has known someone who can't decide on which of their various interests to follow, or have a friend who was always pining for "the one that got away,".




Well, we live in a society where money is important. With wages barely rising, getting more bang for your bucks is an achievement in itself.

So people are taught to be tolerant of gays and lesbians. I have no aversion to them, but I don't think this is normal. And I can never admit that. I am opposed to homosexuals were allowed to hold gay parades. This promotion is alien to my values.

Money is the only goal in this life.

Living a healthy life is the second. You can nearly buy everything with money, even health. (unless you aren't fucked up beyond repair) Are we brainwashed? Damn, yes. We are like little rats, working our asses off everyday for dollars.

Watch "American Psycho" if you haven't watch yet and see how crazy we can get for money. The dude(Bale) who plays Patrick has a great amount of money and can buy everything yet he is not happy at all. Worse yet, he doesn't have a "real" friend.

There are enough gay people out there that it certainly should be accepted as a norm. They're not going anywhere and I don't think they could change even if they wanted to.

As for the OP, I know some people. I can't really think of a single one who qualifies as a zombie or a mindless consumerist and they all have plans but perhaps I'm sheltered.

The internet is the great unknown. So many young minds are still forming that have never known anything else. I really do not think it's a very healthy thing so be surrounded by for your entire youth. Give it another couple of decades and things will be clearer, and probably more depressing.

People have no goals because they see no prospects. It seems to me that any war brings up in people patriotism and humanity. We long to live without war and so grew a society of consumers. Our goal is to buy a car and home to jealous neighbors. It's very sad.

Its a gradual process, An example is homosexuality, Most tv shows and movies have gay characters in them, They want us to see it as a normal thing to the extent that we may accept is as a norm in our society but that aint gonna happen.

In my mind, the real remaining question is 'how?' though it is not likely a simple answer.
