In crypto land, there are a variety of cryptocurrencies to choose from, since the inception of Bitcoin. Many of them provide innovative ways for us to transact in our daily lives.

Some have advanced features and higher transaction throughtput than Bitcoin, and others are just cloned from BTC's codebase.

While the majority of altcoins are pump and dump, there are very few of them which are worth holding.

That is to say, we sometimes end up holding the bag when an specific altcoin massively declines in price.

Nevertheless, I would like to know if you are a bagholder of altcoins, and which of them do you hold into your wallet?

As for me, I hold plenty of altcoins like Casinocoin, Virtacoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Dash, Ethereum, Ambercoin, LiteDoge, Tekcoin, Stratis, MonetaryUnit, Teslacoin, and many more (the list is extensive) Due to the many altcoins I hold for a pretty long time, I consider myself as a bagholder.

What about you?  Roll Eyes

actually, because of the bagholders altcoin became popular, which is also a big help to bitcoin too. Since every time they put a sell wall in the trading platform once its being sold will automatically will place at your bitcoin balance. For me I hold many altcoins such as, XMR, WBB, XEM, WAVES, MAID, ETH, PUTIN, ICOBID, VTY, CHESS, and others.

HODLing is an art, not just a word...
i am a baghodler of bitcoin and i will hodl lose bags for as long as i am alive and kicking because bitcoin has a good future that i can be absolutely sure about.

other altcoins that i see around are good and all but i can never be sure about any of them the way i am sure about bitcoin. and i have been right so far about bitcoin future an altcoins future.

I had actually invested in many altcoins before but recently I found out that most of them are just dead coins and I was barely getting any profit.
For now I only hold xmr as it has given me pretty good returns till now. I was holding eth from a year and finally sold everything at a profit of 4$ each coin.

I know many altcoins that can do very well if there is a good demand and supply for this altcoins and they include Litecoin, Monero, Dash, UR, VC and STX. I hold Litecoin, Dogecoin, VC and now I'm trying to invest in Augmentors and RES too. I don't hold more than 2000 coins of any altcoin as they may be dumped anytime.

Dash price has increased recently, I am confident that it will continue to grow

I hope that the Bytecoin prices will also rise, because currently price is 4 Satoshi so I collect it for fun only  Grin

Are cryptocurrency enthusiasts retarded?

Extremely gullible and overly idealistic (perhaps they watched too much Star Trek?), else they wouldn't think that government could totally disappear within 1 generation.

The Dash marketing is quite impressive:

As for some of the shitcoins mentioned in this thread, clearly the speculators will buy any idealistic bullshit. The more idealistic nonsense it is, the more likely they will buy it. For example WeTrust is more idealistic bullshit without any realistic adoption case.

As for both WeTrust and especially HumanIQ, there are all these new ICOs coming out for smart contracts running on Ethereum which want to target milllions and billions of users adoption. But Ethereum can't scale!

Besides Ethereum can't scale. So anything built on Ethereum can't scale. Casper is fundamentally flawed and will never work.

Also putting large financial value into smart contracts has proven to be very insecure with the DAO attack. The more we proliferate these smart contracts, the more the attack surface grows. In HumanIQ's case, the founder and leader Alex Forte apparently isn't even a programmer.

Other shitcoin bag holder cases are where speculators didn't understand the issues in the combined disciplines of math, economics, and technology, such as HODLcoin.

Currently a bag-holder of two altcoins only:

-Monero (XMR)
-ZCash (ZEC)

Waiting for their good pumps to sell them, and then be the bagholder of ZClassic.

ETH, ETC
POTCOIN, GOLEM

I always stick with 4 alts and only 4,  more simple , less confusing; better returns

Usually I dont collect altcoins much because I am not interested in them. Few months back I used to collect dogecoins. But I left that. Now I have plans to collect some monero by mining using minergate and mrai coins claiming from the faucet. Just now I downloaded its wallet. Some are saying that its value will increase in the coming months.

I quit altcoins before the monero correction because they're all unfair and ridden with insider trading etc. I'm a bitcoin maximalist now. My faith in cryptocurrency is being challenged by dash success. Are cryptocurrency enthusiasts retarded?
