wow. i've hardly heard of most of those coins. the only bag i hold is quark from ages and ages ago. i never got around to getting rid of it. i never let an alt linger for long. hanging around is not what they're for.

are those coins of yours in proper wallets or sitting on exchanges?

Most the coins that I hold are on their respective wallets, with a few being stored on paper wallets for cold storage. Usually, I get to store alts such as ETH, LTC, and DASH on paper wallet since they are the top cryptocurrencies in market cap ratings. I hope that someday I would become rich by having my investments spread out among different altcoins.

Lately, I've invested into Hodlcoin and locked up my coins for 1 year to see how much I would earn in interest earnings.  Roll Eyes

Dash and ethereum offers good way to double your money as current price already higher than last week, pretty awesome increase.
I'm not a bagholder which I just hold bitcoin and byteball, this coin sit on first and third place after dash which ethereum keep chasing byteball price. Well, I somewhat regret didn't buy Dash and ethereum in the first place but it worth to invest.

Agree Doge is great for typing stuff and have overall fun with it.
Great to give children for playing with it Such fun currency

Yes. Dogecoin would make it the perfect choice for children to get into cryptocurrency, due to it being extremely inexpensive. Having games that pay in DOGE, as well as social platforms that would employ DOGE micropayments, would attract children and people of all ages who are new into cryptocurrency. This meme coin is such an ideal cryptocurrency for experimenting with it, as you won't lose much due to its cheap nature.

I'm holding doge and millions of bunnycoins.  Tongue

It is nice to collect these coins in a paper wallet for the future, as they're fun and very ideal for tipping due to their cheap price. These days, DOGE has been depreciating in value, making it a good choice for anyone to buy in and start using the cryptocurrency. Just my thoughts.  Smiley

For some strange reason, always thrills me to see people talk about DOGE the way they do. I do have coins in a handful of alts, but none of them are more than even $10 in value (I did have a full ETH a while ago but converted it to BTC) except for my faithful DOGE. The value's more or less stayed the same over the last 6 months, since I keep topping it up. Shibe forever, they say.

In crypto land, there are a variety of cryptocurrencies to choose from, since the inception of Bitcoin. Many of them provide innovative ways for us to transact in our daily lives.

Some have advanced features and higher transaction throughtput than Bitcoin, and others are just cloned from BTC's codebase.

While the majority of altcoins are pump and dump, there are very few of them which are worth holding.

That is to say, we sometimes end up holding the bag when an specific altcoin massively declines in price.

Nevertheless, I would like to know if you are a bagholder of altcoins, and which of them do you hold into your wallet?

As for me, I hold plenty of altcoins like Casinocoin, Virtacoin, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Dash, Ethereum, Ambercoin, LiteDoge, Tekcoin, Stratis, MonetaryUnit, Teslacoin, and many more (the list is extensive) Due to the many altcoins I hold for a pretty long time, I consider myself as a bagholder.

What about you?  Roll Eyes
Actually all this depend upon our experience that we have got from our past trading life .
Earlier I was buying and invested my money/BTC in that altcoins which was more famous between the friends but usually most of the times I got only loss .
But after a long study in the altcoins market made me knowlegeful that which altcoins will suit for me .
Usually I hold the Pak coin , blry , Putin and echhi new but gave me big profit of 230% .

I've been burned by more than I want to mention, but fortunately I got into BTC early enough that it's just play money anyway.

Monero is the one coin I have serious long term hopes for, I'll be going down with the ship if she sinks.

At the same turn in the crypto currency world. The other is ByteBall. I have hopes on both of them and may get good profit in future.  Smiley

Money often costs too much.
Yeah. The more Dash's value increases, the more difficult it will be for anyone to enter in the masternodes area. It is becoming more expensive to set up your own masternode, and I believe that if no change is made on the protocol level to reduce the minimum amount of Dash for a masternode, then the cryptocurrency will become more centralized. They should make a dynamic Dash fee required for masternodes to keep up with the USD price, instead of relying on a fixed amount.

Interested users could create some sort of masternode shares. Ganging up as a dozen, buy N~M masternodes and share the revenue according to investor's shares. I can foresee that coming.
(I have not foreseen cloudmining)
But how to engage the risks of a single entity in control of the group owned node running away with all funds?

It's unbelieveable, isn't it? Usually I only follow the trending coins, not hodling much. The topdown ten of the coinmarketcap are probably there for a longer time period.
On Dash you need a critical amount to participate in the Masternodes game. This is either a good example of customer conversion or a bad one because newbies no more get triggered to engage there. Entry barrier can kill a coin.

But in the bright side, Dash has been performing well with promising features like InstantX and PrivateSend, making it ideal for everyday transactions. Other altcoins like Ethereum, have increased in price as well, in which it seems that investors are turning their attention towards altcoins these days.

Nevertheless, I hope that the recent price increase on altcoins would not be a result of a pump or a bubble, and it could maintain as is during the year. In the meantime, I will continue to hold the top 5 most prominent cryptocurrencies in the market. So far, I have achieved great results with Dash and Ethereum, making my investment worthwhile.  Smiley

Zcash, Eth, Decred and Monero is my choice, too bad I don't have enough hashrate to become richie rich, but I am definitely getting some sweet ROI.

I'd like to believe the 5~15 most price/volume altcoins will grow in price in months and years to come.

Currently bagholding Komodo, made some profits and should have exited, but bought back in.
Now some 400lb hacker has found a bug and generated some free coins for himself, lets see what happens now..  Cheesy
How much "some free" ? Coinmarketcap shows trade at Bittrex came to a grinding halt just 2 hours ago. Now the other exchange "Cryptox" should plug the hole.
I thought the Komodo devs been no rookies !
30,000,000 coins, I think he dumped around 20BTC worth before the markets were frozen.
Now they will roll back the blockchain, it puts the dev in a pickle no doubt.

Currently I'm holding monero and I can see that it has a good progress and it's now on the number#4 spot on the coinmarketcap.

I don't have plans on selling it right now, I'm waiting for more pump and it looks like ETF rejection gave the chance for traders to buy some more.

And that's why it is pumping.

In the past I was having some coins in which some scammed and the remaining I sold the reason is that I am nowadays busy in my studies and I share my timing in my studies and in bitcoin . So it will be better to focus on both of these as if I will choose for a coin to invest in I will need to study more and more about a number of coins so that I invest in a coin which have a potential to increase more higher in value and will not leave its community in the mid.
I got the same experience as you, most of the coin I baghold turned to be a P and D coins.  Though I can say I made a profit from it the time I sold them but I don't want to baghold such kind of coins.  Though I am still collecting different altcoins, I always tend to avoid bagholding too much coins.
It's just a fact that even if you refuse to hold them, and sell, they are not gone out of existance. Somebody picked them up from your sale offer. Reconsider your strategy ... of course every market bubbles up now and then, and you are missing your chance to sell at a good value.
Steady continual rise seems impossible inside the wild west segment of altcoins, the dillution exceeds the people's purchasing capacitie. Maybe "only Bitcoin" suits your demands, it is the better fit.
