I'm sure almost all gamblers have an interest in wanting to continue playing on gambling sites for longer. The thought of being addicted to something that has become a hobby or daily life, I don't think is good.
how do we know the limits of a gambler who is already addicted to playing online gambling? we go to the casino to find fun with games. what goes wrong is when gamblers come to the casino to find or double their money. if they lose, of course, it creates pressure.

If gambling addiction means gambling more than your budget. If gambling addiction is borrowing to gamble even when  you clearly don't have the  money. If gambling addiction is feeling sick whenever you don't gamble and if gambling addiction means gambling all day long. Then I know that I am not a gambling addict.

Well no, I'm not at the moment, but I always keep in mind that you can't be too confident, because certain circumstances in life can make it easier for you to fall into addiction, be it gambling, alcohol or whatever. The fact that I currently use gambling moderately and responsibly is no guarantee that I will always continue to do so, that is why we cannot let our guard down, and in this forum we have seen threads of people who have been gambling for years and at one point lost considerably more than they had anticipated and could afford.

I'm lucky I'm not addicted to gambling anymore and see gambling as a way to have fun. I know the risks involved in playing gambling and can accept it well and if I lose, I consider it normal because, in gambling, there must be winners and losers.

But I see that many people still experience gambling addiction while they don't realize it and instead continue playing the next day. Gambling can indeed pull a person deeper because of the temptation to get big wins after playing several games, but they must remember that they need self-control so they don't become addicted.

A social disease will infect gamblers who cannot control themselves, addiction will make it difficult for gamblers to control themselves and will continue to visit casinos to retrieve the money that has been spent while betting.
Need self-control when in the scope of the casino, spend what has been allocated, then leave with a sense of satisfaction because you have channeled hobbies that make you feel calmer after having fun there.
You call it a social disease, but I call it a parasite, eating deeply those gamblers that do not want to leave gambling, and making them to spend money un-necessary. When human is addicted to something, it would be very difficult for them to leave. The final hope of any gambler is that, he would win all his loss one day so with that hope he would be still gambling every day and night, sometimes he visits the site to see if he has won. And if he sees that the games were cut, he would still bet again, instead of going home with the small cash in hand to buy something for the family, he would used it to bet another games. That is an addicted gambler.

Nope, I always consider every users are active on gambling boards are not an addicts because if they're addicts, they must quit to interact in gambling board and continue their rehabilitation. If they're keep discuss about gambling, there's a chance they will gamble and can't control themself.

I've know some gamblers that really loses that much in gambling but even if they can be considered addicted, they are still on their normal self.
It's normal if gambling make you to suffer losses, but the thing is does he can afford to lose? if he can, it doesn't considered as an addict. It's still a normal gambler but he just bet with bigger amount than average gamblers.

Everyone likes to go to a casino here and then. But unfortunately, there are those who cannot visit a casino simply for pure leisure. Gambling can turn from a hobby or a leisure activity into a serious addiction problem. Many compare the rush of gambling to the euphory of cocaine, as it can also become an addition.
yes that's right. because a gambler who initially gambles just for fun turns into a gambling addict because they may chase defeat when gambling. so that unconsciously they will continue to gamble even though their financial situation is ruined

So, do you know if you have a problem with gambling?
for now I don't have any problem with gambling. because from the start I gambled using cold money. so that when I lose, I will never be emotional or depressed to always pursue that victory. because what I know is that an ordinary gambler turns into a gambling addict caused by uncontrolled emotions

Online gambling brought casinos closer than ever before, and the problem of addiction in the world of gambling is a serious social illness. There are a few signs to look for when starting to gamble online to avoid problems of addiction. So, do you know if you have a problem with gambling? Here's an interesting article about this subject.
The people that are addicted are most likely chasing money, forgetting what gambling should be, or not know what gambling is, that it is a game of luck. Also not knowing that gambling sites are in control, in a way that the games will pay the casinos more than gamblers with the types of odds the gambling sites set.

Once someone is not chasing money while gambling, like monthly income or weekly income, but using just little amount to play, he will notice he is not frequently gambling and no addiction.

People will deny that they are addicted to gambling until they are cured, they are aware of their addiction, and yet they cannot take the right action to cure themselves because they have an urge that they cannot stop, I will deny I'm addicted to gambling because people will see that I'm sick and need help from professional something that my ego cannot accept.

I'm little into addiction, because I spend what I've kept aside for some prime need. The article gives a big list of contents. Going through the entire article will give an overview on how to stay away from gambling addiction. In all means if the gambler himself doesn't have the control, there is no way to get out of addiction through meditation, medication, drugs and other measures.
Those who once get into gambling addiction find it very difficult to come out.Gambling addiction leaves people in utter ruin. But to save yourself from this addiction there are many means that you can use to protect yourself from the power of the tide. The main thing among them is that you should always devote yourself to religious work. Spending more time with wife and children are also many other reasons that will help you get out of gambling addiction.
If a person is once addicted to gambling then it will take a long time to get out of gambling. I think gambling is a bad addiction. Once addicted to gambling his life is turned upside down. I think we can stay away from this gambling as much as possible.  It will be better for us. Everyone should be careful from gambling, otherwise our life will be ruined.

I have always kept a very high degree vigilance on my gambling patterns, so I never developed a gambling addiction, and this is because I have seen how difficult it can be to leave an addiction behind and this is not something I wanted for myself.

So I am quite sure I have no gambling issues at all, however for what I know the issue of gambling addiction has taken a turn for the worse, as now gambling is too accessible as now people can gamble directly on their phones and they receive all kind of notifications on their emails or their gambling apps which incite them to gamble again and as such some people are unable to control their impulses.

I would say though that there are people who become addicted in the beginning, many succumbing to the thoughts of winning and winning big. But as gamblers mature overtime, some of us might realized that gambling is going to be very harmful for us in the end.

There could be signs in the beginning, but if we try to overcome it, sooner or later you will get rid of this vices.

And so like that rest of the others, I was also a gambling addict in my past life, but in the last 5 - 7 years or so, learn to control my self, listen to the people, those who love us and and shift our priority.

I wouldn't say that I'm at the "addicted" level, I just simply enjoy the experience. Honestly anyway you enjoy gambling is fine as long as it doesn't negatively affect your mentality and your finances in life imo. If those aspects were affected then I'd consider one to be pretty addicted to it. E.g. if a rich person were just to gamble away every day I wouldn't necessarily think it was addiction, I'd only consider it if it was actually harming you but if you have the capability to enjoy it to that level then I say feel free to do so.

I mostly do sports nowadays though so it's less of a gamble and more of a thinking game for me though.

It's either someone will admit that they are addicted, or would be in denial. Personally, I do go to traditional land based casinos, have fun and of course try to make money. But in the end if my budget is busted, then I just go home, not my lucky day. So I would consider myself as a recreational gambler per se. However, I will admit that before I was really into gambling and consider myself as a addict. Until something it my life changes everything, lost my job and obviously my income and so I don't have the money that I used to gamble. So I definitely stop, however, when I was able to find a regular job, my addiction just simply stop, maybe I've learned the hard lessons already so I don't want to go to that experience again.

Fortunately in my country gambling is not allowed, otherwise I would be lost!
I already had a time in my life where I spent a lot of bitcoin on gambling (only online games), luckily I got over it.
Nowadays I still play, but sporadically, and only in sports betting, mainly in football.

Unfortunately, most people don't realize that they are falling into addiction, they are just frustrated but believe that they are still in control of the situation, until they reach the point where there is no turning back.

Im not an optimist so Im protected from the dream of being a gambling genius so no I just play for fun as should most tbh.    So long as people dont kid themselves gambling is a get rich quick scheme I think its mostly safe, some of course are highly reactive kinda personality maybe have to be cautious but theres alot of things in life to be cautious and careful about for your own good health and happiness so yea be careful dreams are dangerous, but I say that about everything as Iam a bit of a dreamer but a realistic one imo.

I can say I'm a gambling addict but not to the point that I will do irresponsible act or something.

I can't really lived without gambling and that's a fact. It's like gambling is already part of my life.

Even I'm losing money mostly, I understand that part of doing gambling and will still continue to do so.

Looking at the article and signs of being an gambling addict, I can say I am far from being a gambling addict.  So far I can have a full control of myself and I can easily pause or have a break in gambling without an issue.  Losses doesn't bother me and though I wanted to win huge in an online casino, I don't mind if I failed to hit them.  I also never prioritized gambling over my works and so far I am able to not borrow money even though there are times I wanted to try some strategy but can't due to unavailable funds.

I gamble once a week, $20, regularly. There are times when I don't play simply because I don't feel like it, and never have I gambled on weekdays even if I have the luxury of time. Perhaps that makes me not an addict but rather someone who isn't really into gambling that much. It gives me leisure and it brings me enjoyment, but I can definitely live without it. Heck, I think I'm more addicted in coffee or in vaping even though I recently acquired my liking with it. One thing's for certain though: I'll never put my finances and my life at risk just because I gamble.
