How do you see market conditions and how you can implement management for cryptocurrency trading investments. It is important to look at the short term or long term in our trade.

Depends on which coin I have, but mostly I'm holder especially with Bitcoin. When I get some "not famous" coin I try to sell it immediately when price still normal. But coins like NEO , XML and ADA I'm holding because I believe that price will grow soon.
BTC, NEO, ETH and other good coins are worth to hold it for a long time, but holding new tokens is not worth all time, most of the tokens will disappear after few years. So for short time trading, I will use it new tokens it will give decent profit.

If you have a lot of money and not immediately needed, you can invest for the long term. Rather than saving in banks better saving money in Bitcoin.  Grin

Now the most productive strategy is to buy coins for a long time. And rely on the prospects of the project and the active development of technology.

I am long term holder for BTC and Ethereum especially, because I believe that this coins have very promising potential and their prices will go up highly after few years. But I am trading the other coins and tokens daily almost for getting my weekly and monthly income.

happy to see the long-term holder for bitcoin and ethereum on here and I am sure that you have a big patient to wait for the price increase higher. we can learn from him about how to be a long-term holder because this is the hardest things that we can do. besides that, we need to have many things including patient for waiting. personally, I choose both long term and short term because I think with doing both, we could still make a double revenue from trading but we need to set it up many things especially to learn more about trading.

Mid to long term mostly but it really depends on your goals and actual portfolio, I'm thinking holding most of my assets for a period of 6 month to a year except if i need liquidity to reinvest in a more suitable option.

Anyway never sell with a loss unless you think the project is really dead, and you have proofs to back up your claims.

As we get closer to mass adoption unless you invested in really bad coins 2019/2020 should be a cool year for crypto.

I agree in crypto trading in/out of coins. I quickly lost focus on my goals, sold coins and never went back to them. They are 100, 200, and some 500% more than when I sold. The best game is to buy what you can afford to lose, place them in a wallet, and basically forgot about them. Check them monthly (weekly if you have time). But build a strategy and stick with it. In a year or two, your coins will have good value.

As a bounty hunter, I usually target the short term signature campaign, that's why I always stand by in economics/marketplace/service ( which is bitcoin is the main payment ). But also, I try short term in alternative coins, but the main problem is , not all new project become successful, some are scam. So if you go in long term and encounter those problem, it will be disaster . You work for nothing and you earn nothing, sad part. But if you go in investment, better to get your mind set in a long term, just get a good altcoins.

In the short term, I think that short-term gains are greater than long-term gains. Relatively, risks will be higher, so you need to carefully analyze the risks of each of your investments. Grin

Checking the prices time to time makes me uneasy, so I decided to be a long term holder than a day trader. And I have not that plenty investment thats why I'm just waiting for it's price to rise and let me gain at least 60% of profit.

I think of myself as a long-term - I always want to hold longer...sometimes I loose profit because of that but I won't change my strategy.

I am long term holder for BTC and Ethereum
I'm also a long term holder with these both coins but mostly with bitcoin. I only have a very few ETH and it's far from the total bitcoin I've got.

because I believe that this coins have very promising potential and their prices will go up highly after few years.
These coins are the most promising coins of all. Some will say that the altcoins that they've found out can beat bitcoin and ETH.
They will also say that it can outnumber and replace bitcoin on it's throne but it won't. Arguing the title for the king of crypto's  is useless because the title will remain to bitcoin.

But I am trading the other coins and tokens daily almost for getting my weekly and monthly income.
I have some tokens too but I have decided to hold it for long term too.

Previously, I believed to hold a coin for long term but I think to maximize your profit one should change its strategy with time when needed sticking to one theory cannot guarantee you high returns. If someone thought for long term hold from November they might be in trouble upon current market situtations. I think one should move with the flow and sell and buy repeatedly to recover loss and gain more profit.

Now all the coins are at the bottom. I'm waiting for growth. I sell only not promising coins.

I am trading once in a while because I have coins in exchanges. Sometimes I buy and just wait the coin to go up in value before I sell, of course I know it is in dip. Now, which is better, set it to your expected price so that when it hit you sold? O wait for the price to go up and sell even if it did not reach yet to your  target price? Thanks.

You are typically explaining buying low and selling high which i think most short term investment holders engaged themselves, but i prefer holding my coin for a long term before selling . long term traders incur much fewer trading fees, since positions are held for a long period. Short term traders see long term investing as boring, and quite frankly, that’s just fine for most traders, especially inexperienced investors. However, even many very experienced and professional investors buy in to the long term strategy.

It is more likely to close a position with a profit if you buy for a long term.

I prefer in mid to long term mostly. But it all depends on the portfolio, what goals do you pursue. And on the basis of this you will understand what strategy you should follow. In the long term, the probability of loss is less than in the short term

Definitely looking at present market situation short term is the best choice it is better to exist at short-term profits rather than long-term
I disagree completely with this, the market is telling you very clearly that you need to hold for the long term, in the short term the price is not moving much it's moving up a little bit and moving down a little bit unless you are able to predict very precisely how the market is going to move you are not going to make money in fact you are going to lose it, at least if you are holding you're not going to have as much losses and when the price goes up, and we all know it will go up in the future, then you profits are going to be amazing.
Basically both are good things. We can not be sure that long-term investments will be profitable or not and short-term investments will be profitable or not. Everything must go according to the situation. I will take every opportunity and that is the best way we can do. Take the decision according to the conditions that happen to ourselves, because whatever way we do then it depends on the conditions that occur at that time.
If you're not so sure about the long term future of the coin in which you are investing then that is your mistake, you should never invest for the long term in a coin that has no future, look at bitcoin, bitcoin is the best coin in the market and that is why people invest for the long term and it is because they know that in 5 to 10 years they will get a lot of profits regardless of the short term movements of the market.

I prefer to wait at the price I expect then I can sell it at a high price according to my expectations and I choose for the long term.
I am afraid that if I sell immediately when the price rises in the future altcoin will continue to rise, it will make a disappointment in me.
Although all of this can not be predicted up and down on what value, in myself, I'm sure if the coin crypto will go up.
