Short term holding is like daily trading, it's risky and really complicated, so I prefer long term.
Not only short term trading is a lot more complex long term trading, the amount of stress that you will go through by day trading is enormous, many people are unable to cope with the pressure of such a job and they get sickness related to stress or they simply need to change the way they invest and in even in more extreme cases they stop trading altogether.

If you check the bitcoin prices from the initial release until today, it's clear that the long term strategy is the winning one Smiley

For now, the course jumps, I often sell and buy coins. The difference is not big, of course, but you can earn a little and increase the number of coins. In the future I hope for greater growth and possibly selling all

I will say i am a short term person gunning for a long term sty in the crypto world. One's just gotta take time to study the market, know when its safe to trade and when not and especially when u are making profits. This is what i lookout for to determine my long term stay.

I am trading once in a while because I have coins in exchanges. Sometimes I buy and just wait the coin to go up in value before I sell, of course I know it is in dip. Now, which is better, set it to your expected price so that when it hit you sold? O wait for the price to go up and sell even if it did not reach yet to your  target price? Thanks.

I always prefer short term investment. I go with coins with high values like, Bitcoin, ETH, Maker, NEO and NEM. I just bought .040 bitcoin day before yesterday. Though i earn bitcoin from campaign every month, i still wanted to go for purchase as i had some money came from other source. I felt its the right time to purchase bitcoin as like other currencies. I always trust in bitcoin and obviously yes, bitcoin would certainly yield me more profits. Planning to buy more coins down the line.
At the end of the day it's your money and you can do whatever you want with it, however unless you are a very good trader short term investment is not the best choice, the best choice is to hold your coins for as long as you can and that means that the best strategy that you can pick is to hold your coins for the long term I know that it can be very difficult especially if you need that money, but if you want to maximize your profits you will have to do it.

The plan for me is simple. Pay off my credit cards debts and the money I have investing in testing the water then keep hold of as many coins as I can!

I think both short term thinking and long term thinking can be profitable. If you can figure out technical analysis and develop a good skill set you can make allot of money trading the volatility! Long term I am extremely bullish. I think crypto is a commodity which puts it in the store of value category and that is a humongous market

I think wait until it rises to the price we are targeting if it can be higher than that, but if the unstable price keeps waiting until it rises even though it is not right on target

Most of the portfolio lies in hodl, but there is always part of the funds to participate in medium-term transactions, based on news, releases, etc. Or just for HYIP projects that give quick X, but it's dangerous.

Each has its own strategy and at different stages of market development they can be profitable or unprofitable. Very often we can not objectively assess what will be the highest level of the price and therefore it is better to set achievable goals.

I've been holding my token for a long time, and now it's down 70% more than in January. Sometimes I regret not selling it at that time. I really want to be a long-term investor and I have a long-term plan, but I'll try to trade some coins through the rapid decline of the market. Convert into bitcoin, which may help me reduce risks.

If you do Trading, then you should decide to do it long-term.
I prefer long-term trading because the value will be doubled and of course the profits will be great.
I always target the price of a coin before selling it.
I need to wait and be patient so that the value of the price I expect can be achieved and after that, I can sell it.

As the convention stands with most of the traders, I go long term with bitcoin, bitcoin cash, litecoin and ethereum while I do short term trading with every other Altcoin out there. The strategy so far has been really successful for me and I have been able to earn a good amount of money.
But the lesson I learnt during this period was not to rely on shady exchanges since they can turn out to be scam. Also, never to keep funds in an exchange. It is always safer and better to keep them in a wallet.

I could not develop a strategy for myself, so I just keep the coins. Sometimes I sell them when I need to pay bills. Sometimes I stop liking the project and I sell tokens. All my actions are unpredictable

In the present situation, it seems to me, it is best to take the main coins for long periods. Minimize the risks. Just buy and forget about them for a year, or even two. Now it is very difficult to trade unfortunately.
Yes. You can trade in plus, while the market is calm. But at one point the market flies up or falls sharply down. And traders lose a lot of money. I, too, prefer to invest my funds in promising projects for 1-2-3 years.
