Short-term or long-term trade has advantages and disadvantages. At a time when the price is unstable short-term trade will be better than in the long run, because it does not have to wait long to get a profit. We must always be update in short-term trading, because we must always know the latest price. While long-term trading is very big advantage, we do not need to update every day. We are only up to date as we approach the time we set. I prefer short-term trading, because the profits are faster and more challenging.

I will buy a cheap new altcoin and hold it for a while, I give the target to resell it. if it is possible to sell, then I will sell it and exchange it into old altcoin like ETH and LTC or even into BTC. I think if you want to hold it for the long term, it would be better to keep it inside the BTC, ETH or LTC.

When deciding to invest in cryptos, you need to set the goal to take profits if the crypto reaches the expected exchange rate. This is very important, will help you avoid FOMO psychology. Even after the sale of the exchange rate has continued to rise, you should not regret that you have decided on the target. You should invest in long-term and have your own goals for cryptos rates.

I'm a long term, I like, when the I can hold bitcoin or other coin for a year and after this term I see the price 5-10x higher. This is wonderful feeling.

i believe if the roadmap includes value-raise implementations, you should wait. sometims it is bear and market doesn't even care so it would be wiser to hold for the next bull run if your road-map did not reply its price gains IMO.
but if you sell some bitcoins for cash during the bull runs you will be a strong holder.

I think it depends on the value of your coins. You need to make decisions in investing. You need to research about it. Every once in while there is an update. It will make you decide if to hold on or not anymore. Me, I much more of a long term. I watch the growth of the coins I have or the future of it.

exteremly bullish of course. simple comparison of overall marketcaps; crypto vs global money supply vs bonds vs derivatives vs real estate vs ART

indicates that the real fomo has not yet begun.
While the price of bitcoin increased in the last year precisely because of the fear of missing out because people thought that finally bitcoin will reach insane prices, I agree with you when you say that it has not begun just yet, the average person still has not invested his money in bitcoin and I really think that they are not going to do it until it's very late and the price of bitcoin is above 100k dollars.

Longterm is the good approach to create wealth. You can choose between short-term and long term based on your financial goals. You can always pick up good projects at low prices sell them on highs and buy back on the lows again depending on your strategy.

I prefer Long term.

To answer the question long or short term, you shoul ask yourself What the coins you possess now and you want to sell. If coins have great potential to grow and you dont hope just for pump. But is it still down when martket go up, sell it imediately

I am long term holder for BTC and Ethereum especially because I believe that these coins have very promising potential and their prices will go up highly after few years. But I am trading the other coins and tokens daily almost for getting my weekly and monthly income.
I agree with you, BTC and ETH are coins that are proven reliable by its development. You will get a quick payback and multiple profits if you hold both coins for a long period of time. The longer you hold the ETH and BTC the more profits you will get.

i am still long term holder and learning crypto more .
bcoz if i do short at wrong time without proper knowledge then instead of big gain i will end up with little bit profit .

so invest in top coins and hold them for long , if you have knowledge then invest in lower rank coins which have good future .

I think that you should always count on a long investment period. It is difficult to predict how the market will behave. But there is a time of successful investments. For example, 3 weeks ago those who invested in projects have already received x2 and more profits.

I am trading once in a while because I have coins in exchanges. Sometimes I buy and just wait the coin to go up in value before I sell, of course I know it is in dip. Now, which is better, set it to your expected price so that when it hit you sold? O wait for the price to go up and sell even if it did not reach yet to your  target price? Thanks.

I had to wait because during the correction of all the coins I have fallen greatly in price. now some in my left and I sell them.

Long-term for me is bitcoin and about ten more coins. They are of the greatest value for me. Some coins for me are medium-term, and some short-term ones in which I don't see development prospects and immediately sell.

It really depends on what kind of coin you are holding. If you are holding a coin with a high potential to grow then go for the long-term investment. But if the coin youre holding is a shxt coin, then you can wait for the price to pump then sell it when it reach your target price to get the profits.

depending on the market price most long-term investment is to find the maximum results, but it requires considerable patience to wait for a good price. but if the price is good to sell then the short step is the right choice because the purpose of the investment is to make a profit.

You have to be quite lucky though to be able to get a good sum of profit in the short term, long term is better imho.
