I'm very selective and much careful whenever it comes to ICO's since not all ICO's are worth to join and also there a lot of scam project on board so failure to do your checks properly may end you up falling as a victim.
Just look at the experienced participants and participate in those companies where they participate.
It's not a guaranty but sometimes it works, some of these experienced participants are part of the project or can also commit a mistake, I prefer doing my research and not follow blindly what others are investing into, it's your money anyway so trust your faith and your instinct.
I'm very selective with the ICOs I take part in, not all of these ICOs are worth taking part in as the projects they have might not be as promising or strong enough to address market needs, some are also just cash grabs,.I only take part in ICOs that offer a solution to a problem in the market
I agree with you. If the person have investments in cryptocurrency then he should be more careful, because its a high risk. You need to be selective, when you are participating in ICOs. There are so much projects, that are scams. You need to investigate the whitepaper, the rating websites, the community numbers and another different factors. Without investigating project, you won't be successful as a crypto player.
Sure that I don't choose the first one to participate. to my mind, it is better to participate in ICO after you make sure that it is the reliable one and you can be sure that you won't lose everything
Well of course you have to be extremely selective, otherwise your starting capital would vanish rapidly. Last year it was enough to do some research on the team of the project and their token metrics, their idea etc. and you could make nice returns, but this year a lot depends also on the demand for the project, the previous mentioned factors are not enough.

man of course I'm selective. How could you not be? I'm wondering how is it possible but the questions on this forum just tend to increase the level of ill-educations to the extents I have never seen before

I usually scan the Whitepaper first before joining the campaign. I seldom use bountyhive, icoalert and other bounty service provider in that matter. I prefer to participate on Bounty Campaigns rather than investing on the ICO. On the contrary, when the token is of long term value I participate both on Bounty Campaign and Invest on it. My advice for you is to read the Whitepaper thoroughly, know the team involved and is the product viable to survive with the over saturated market crypto has.

I am not surprised that bounty hunters like you, I have checked profiles, most of you do not prioritize making posts, especially quality ones. this is one of the reasons why regulations prohibit jr rank. You will not get knowledge if you continue to do this. try it because in this industry there is a lot you can do besides bounty.

In both cases one should be VERy careful about investing time or money in ICO.
Do extensive research and if there is ANY red flags , most likely it is a scam, look at team members , look at their profiles n linkedin , very often one can see weird stuff there which shows that it is a scam.
Of course you have to be selective in finding quality ico because nowadays more and more ico are cheating and if we are deceived we will also lose our money and get a non-valuable token
right we have to be selective in following ICO because that is the main capital that we must pay attention to, that IOO is not all successful but there are ICC who have not succeeded in making investors lose their money, because of fraud.
