My kid is still not aware of Bitcoin. That is my plan to do when they reach the right age i will teach and educate them about bitcoin and other crypto currencies. I will start explaining them what bitcoin is and how it works. I will also sight some examples for them to properly understand how can we use bitcoin in our daily lives. I will teach them the importance of keeping the Bitcoin and secure and i will explain to them on how to create a secure wallet and the importance of keeping the private keys in a safe place.

As a good parent you should of course show your children right from wrong, but it is more important to give advice according to the inclination of your children's abilities.

You should not force any child to do this. you can teach them and let them decide for themselves what they should do.

Environmental influences must also be there for sure. I mean if our child is a teenager - he will eventually ask questions about digital finance. A concrete example, today's children aged 15-18 really understand online shopping with various modes of payment. Well, if one day the choice appears, you can also pay with crypto. what to think. they will look for further ways how it can be processed to pay, especially if there is a discount.

Small children are like mud, they will be raised as children.  For children who are raised in a good environment from an early age, the effects of growing up in a good environment last a lifetime. You are involved in Bitcoin If you teach your children about Bitcoin from a young age, they will grow up with a good understanding of Bitcoin and later on when they are fully involved with Bitcoin, they will use that childhood understanding and experience growing up with Bitcoin as a child.

Educating the younger generation (children) about asset management will go a long way to salvage the situation of mismanagement of funds, I agree that there is need to teach your children whatever you know that is the secret to your wealth, educating your children about Bitcoin is also good but you should first of all make them understand the value of things be it money or whatever that's entrusted to them or personally gotten by them so that the will keep your good legacy whenever you are no more here with them teach them how to be independent and descipline in other to avoid being lazy as for Bitcoin it has come to stay every interested individual will get to know about it sooner or later by which ever means.

I think it is critical to educate young people about cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin as bitcon, crypto and blockchain technology is becoming more and more important in people's lives. However, it is extremely important to err on the side of caution and ensure that young people understand the advantages and dangers of investing in cryptocurrency at the same time. The time is right to talk about financial responsibility, investing, and the possible advantages and disadvantages of cryptocurrencies. As you know, in the midst of so much information pollution, it's also important to find a way to communicate Bitcoin to the younger generation. Do you have any ideas on how to do this?

I'm on board with your thinking here .
I'm leaving some bitcoin on a ledger for my kids they're 7 and 4 now .
I talk to my 7 year old about Crypto as he's heard about BTC and Doge through Roblox! He understands the value of money and appreciates anything we do for him which is a blessing
Is good to teach our kids about the value of money and how to secure our money from intruders or scammers, but then I am kind of concerned about the age of your child.

7 years old child is not old enough to truly understand financial management and the true value of money, and he/she can easily be carried away there by exposing vital information.

Hope when I will have kids there will be more cases about teaching them about it

Our kids are no doubt the future, and what we have today will be carried by them tomorrow. So there is no point in keeping them away from bitcoin.
Few things we need to understand in this regard are that with Bitcoin, kids can gain access to age restricted sites like gambling, etc. Since crypto based sites are open for everyone.
We may start telling kids about Bitcoin once they are a bit grown up and use Bitcoin under the supervision of parents.

I can remember me myself in childhood and I'm sure kids can get access to web sites with age limit if they'll want to, not depending on using bitcoin or not. The most correct way to prevent that IMO is to tell them about risks and stay honest while talking about difficult things. And teaching bitcoin is among the things we should do for our children and their safety: trained means safer. They will find a way to know and use it anyhow, we just should try to be the first who will talk with them about all that.

I wish Bitcoin was taught to kids in schools

As far as I know, other schools teach bitcoin to their students as a course or subject, I'm just not sure yet. I can't remember where I read the article I'm talking about.

But for me, bitcoin doesn't need to be a course because it can be learned without going to school. Many people have learned and understood bitcoin that most of them are making money now, meaning it can also be taught for free to our children, nephews, or others.

If you must know, there is what we called "Mentorship" learning it themselves can't give the right exposure to the digital world timely but with mentorship and guidance they will faster intakes the words into their brains. Information gotten on time makes a faster results, let say me for instance. I came to this forum as early as 2018 and I wasn't knowing my left and right but the only thing i had in mind was that there's something they called bitcoin that is all. If that there was a mentor around or besides me who will tell me the details of bitcoin and also encouraged me to invest, just take a look at 2018 till date how old is that? I think it should be around 4 to 5 years now.

So it's better they are being taught in school and also as a course of study, now tell me, without teaching them in school how would they be able to read those codes and languages of bitcoin.
This is one thing we are missing in the part of our country.

Children has self attitude of testing everything and whenever they saw something they ask many questions about that. If father is talking about BTC with friends or any where child will ask about it and this is the first stage they will learn about BTC.
My country currency is keep dumping every year and I think it's better to teach my children about btc and I hope they will better use of btc. I am planning to make some attractive sticker Which I will glue on the toys .
I also planning to gift Hardwallet (holding 100$ worth of BTC) to my child and will teach how it is more beneficial asset then other. BTC is future and We should not keep our children unaware of this.

It's rather interesting theme for the discussing. My daughter is 7 and she knows what's that even if we didn't tell her specially. But my son is 13 and he doesn't show any interest to it. It all depends on the nature of the children too.

Hi brother I am single and still I ma not married. But in future I plan to do marriage. And if I have had choices than I will Keep my portfolio for my children and also will tell them if they have any kind if Interest in this field. So that's a good thing Bitcoin should be a good investment for us. That's why I like Bitcoin so much.
You must really introduce bitcoin to your child as an alternative investment and the best hedge against the evils of fiat currency, you must teach your child about how bitcoin was created and for what after your child is old enough to know about bitcoin according to You. If today you really like bitcoin and benefit from bitcoin, of course you won't close yourself off and enjoy it alone, in my opinion, don't just talk about interest but teaching bitcoin is a sure step for your child's financial freedom in the future and maybe you need to start as early as possible.

Leaving your kids some bitcoin is great. As they’re too young to fully understand it’s value and potential, keeping it safe and leaving it for them is the best thing right now. When they grow older and fully understand what bitcoin is all about, they’ll be surely surprised and damn well ecstatic that their pop had left them a small fortune.
But for now, I think it’s best to let your kids enjoy their childhood. There would be plenty of time for grownup stuff later on.
Learning is a gradual and sometimes slow process. We shouldn’t rush what’s meant to happen slowly and in due time.
Absolutely, leaving your kids some bitcoin as a future gift is a fantastic idea! It's still early days for the cryptocurrency and they're too young to fully grasp its significance, so keeping it safe until they're ready to understand is the way to go. By the time they grow up and come to terms with what bitcoin really is, they'll be over the moon that you thought of them.

For now, let's let the kids be kids. They've got plenty of time to worry about the grown-up stuff later. Education and understanding takes time and patience, so there's no need to rush things. Let them learn and grow at their own pace, and they'll appreciate the gift even more down the line.

My kids are too young to fully understand bitcoin but they will know when it’s time. I will take a lot of time explaining everything to them. They will be very wealthy when they inherit my estate. Any kid who gets left bitcoin when they are 30 or older will be incredibly lucky. They will have a life that many of us didn’t & that’s what you aim to do as a parent.

Put bitcoin in cold storage for your children & when they are a little older, explain to them how to redeem it.
