The match was quite interesting because no one expected Malaysia to hold South Korea to a draw in this match.
Honestly at first I didn't expect much and felt very confident that Korea could win easily against Malaysia in this match but in the end this was a mistake because there was a surprise in extra time which was very long in this match.
Overall the game was a lot different in this one but looking at Malaysia's counter-attacks and Korea being too focused on attacking made them forget about their poor defense.
In the end this match made my multi which had gone smoothly when the Japan and Iraq matches had to run aground because Korea could not get full points in the matches that occurred.

But honestly this group phase Korea doesn't seem to have good momentum, I think they will qualify easily but they are actually troubled in this group phase.

Australia dominated Oceania, that's why they made it join AFC to let the other poor nation win something but also to make the Australian team more competitive.

Some very strange results in this cup like in the African one, the most powerfull teams are not playing that good.

Indonesian performance was not idea for qualifying into round of 16 but Kyrgyz Republic's Kojol score 80th minute goal against Oman is surely helpful for them to have spot into this next round where now they are going to face Australia which is also mighty heavy team for them because they never won against them in last few encounters even I check Indonesia never score them in last few matches which is clearly indicating how things will be gone into this match which is going to play on Sunday.
Now it's time for them to increase their quality and bring consistency because things are changing quickly and with this current structure they can win matches in big events hopefully now in near future we will have changes which could be positive.

Its just feels weird to have best of the 3rd place in the group to qualify but oh well this is Asian Cup so Im not really expecting any other country aside from Japan and South Korea to actually make it to top 3 atleast. Anyway, I didnt pay any attention before and its surprising that Australia in on Asia Cup despite that they are not really on Asia continent.

Journey to the Championship



The group stage has finished and it is clear which teams will play in the next round of the 2023 Qatar Asian Cup.
Every team in the group has gone through all the drama and excitement that occurred in the group stage and now the Round of 16 will soon take place with new struggles and hard work to ensure they are the best team so they can go even further.



Four teams qualified for the round of 16 because of the best third position. There are Syria, Palestine, Indonesia and Jordan. Their luck is that in the round of 16 there will be a knockout system. The team that wins, has the right to continue the struggle.

Our spirits have all risen again today after yesterday experiencing great disappointment after being defeated by Japan, today is a very historic day, fter waiting for so long, we were finally able to reach the round of 16, to be honest, I was very sad when I saw that Indonesia previously had a small opportunity to qualify, especially when Oman managed to score a goal against Kyrgyzstan in the 8th minute, of course it made all hope disappear, but who would have thought that luck would be on Indonesia side today and make us all cheer happily to welcome the return goal from Kyrgyzstan in the 80th minute, even though Indonesia's qualification depends on the results of other matches, but I am still grateful that Indonesia can qualify for the round of 16.

South Korea 3 - 3 Malaysia

I'm very shocked by this result, honestly the games in this competition are very unpredictable, I was very sure that South Korea would come out of this game with victory, although I didn't place any bets on this game because the odds were low. but it didn't occur to me that South Korea would come out of that game with a draw, and it's funny that South Korea was the first team to score a goal in this game at 21 minutes and ended 1 half with victory, it really seemed like the South Korea would come out of this with a very easy victory. but in the 2nd half it seems that the South Korean players entered the field very unfocused to the point of conceding a goal and the game was tied and it didn't take long for Malaysia to score the second goal and the game was already starting to get very strange because Korea from the south were losing

until the 83rd minute there was an own goal and thanks to that South Korea managed to tie the game, but at 90 + 4 South Korea benefited from a penalty and thanks to that penalty they managed to score a goal, it seemed like the game would end With this result, I didn't watch the game but I was following the result, so I don't understand why the hell this game had 90 + 15, thanks to 90 + 15 Malaysia managed to score the equalizer. It's very sad to see South Korea performing so poorly. This opponent was weak on paper, but on the field he showed the opposite.

Saudi Arabia 0 - 0 Thailand

Honestly, I'm starting to wonder how these teams like Saudi Arabia, Japan, South Korea got to the World Cup? I wonder about this because when you look at Saudi Arabia and the teams in that group, I see no reason why Saudi Arabia can't beat all these teams. It seems like there is a collective weakening of all Asian teams that participated in the World Cup. Qatar is doing very well, Iran is also doing very well.
