Yeah this match will be decisive for both countries while a draw is not yet safe for Indonesia because of the difference in total goals therefore both countries will fight each other, we all know that on paper Japan is the favorite in this tournament but the performance of the two countries looks different I mean Japan is on a downtrend in performance meanwhile Indonesia can be said to be on fire or underdog team so Japan cannot underestimate Indonesia. I hope there is a miracle for Indonesia, whether it is a penalty or something else.

I still don't believe the results of the Iraq vs Japan match because it is clear that Japan is favored to win. What happened was truly beyond reason and Iraq succeeded in reversing public expectations to overthrow Japan in the Group D stage. despite winning against vietnam, indonesia will still find it difficult to advance to the next round. in the last match against japan. and to be able to qualify at least indonesia can hold a draw with japan and that will be extraordinarily difficult. because japan calls full of its main players including players who play in Europe. supposedly against iraq draw so the last match against japan has no burden because it is guaranteed to qualify. but the opponent of iraq lost the last match must at least draw.

Japan lost from Iraq is very surprising result because just like people said before Japan squad was filled with plenty of the players who play at european teams such as Wataru Endo, Takefusa Kubo or Minamino so i thought the match against Iraq should be easy for them especially in the first match Japan have already to win with huge scores from Vietnam but apparently Iraq was performing more good than them and with this result i think Iraq is became an the first team who qualified on group D and in the last match if Iraq can able to overcomes Vietnam then they will being an group champion

About Indonesia i have been watching this match yesterday and i think their performance is more good than when they were beated Iraq in the first match although during the match Indonesia was playing with under pressure but i think Indonesia defensive lines was more solid in this match and for 3rd match against Japan this is hard match for them because during the history Indonesia was never able to beat Japan even Indonesia was often to lost with big scores from Japan especially after beated by Iraq i am sure Japan will playing with all of their key players and pushing to win because Japan required to win if they want to qualified

I like the final result. But I was a little disappointed with Indonesia's pattern of play in the 2nd half. By doing tight presing indeed in the first half Indonesia was able to make Vietnam difficult to move. They forced the Vietnamese players to make long passes. That's what didn't happen in the second half Indonesia was a little less presing, so Vietnam was more comfortable playing short balls.

This problem makes me always worried, because Indonesia is only 1 goal ahead. In addition, when Vietnam played with 10 player, Indonesia was still attacked. Indonesia couldn't keep the ball and control the game. Anyway so was it today or yesterday that Japan played their match...I was surprised at how good Iraq played against Japan who many of us would easily consider to be among the favourites, but to lose to Iraq I wonder how Germany would be feeling about that result smh..but honestly didn't not see that result going that way and credit to Iraq for a solid performance!

But as the competition goes on, my teams on my watch list are Australia, Japan, Iran and now the surprise package Iraq, just hope they don't get to disappoint because these days I think few teams are giving it their best with gambling on the horizon...players could be betting against their teams lol

Iraq performed very well in group D, beating Japan and Indonesia. Iraq has the biggest chance of qualifying for the round of 16.
I was quite surprised that Japan was easily defeated by Iraq, even though in several previous friendly matches Japan always won big.

Indonesia vs Vietnam for me is a rival duel in Southeast Asia, both of them always play with high tension and a fast tempo.

Iraq wins early. 5 minutes and additional minutes of the first half.

It seems that you are quite familiar with typical Asian football, especially ASEAN representative teams and it seems like we are located in the same country. but if I'm wrong, sorry, I'm just trying to guess. Vietnam is always a difficult opponent for Indonesia but luck came from a penalty kick from Asnawi, currently they are leading 1 - 0 because they were awarded a penalty, I hope Indonesia is not too happy in this victory which usually makes them nervous and not concentrating which will obviously make It was easy for Vietnam to score a goal back to make it a draw, of course Indonesia's victory was really hoped for by all supporters in Indonesia.
