Statistically they have a house edge over time. However, a single large bet that goes against them can make payout a lot of money at once, and make a single month a losing month. IE: They can make more or less than their house edge due to expected variation in what is largely a random series..

there might be some of that, but Satoshi Dice sold out, which means everyone that had shares there got paid a flat rate per share, and that money is now moving to other securities. AM being the best one right now, people are buying shares.

BUT, the fact remains that if blades go on sale this week, next week's dividend could be almost double of last week's dividend. As soon as those blades are for sale, the dividend will shoot up.
