I ordered and paid early on Feb 2. I've even received confirmation from WalletBit about the order, but nothing from the two tickets opened up with Avalon and still no orders showing in the store.

I am happy others are going to see their orders soon. It would just be nice if Avalon could follow through with any of their communications in the past. I have no idea what to expect right now regarding my order.

I sent Yifu an email inquiring about this.  He stated orders would ship in order to when payment was received so orders placed on Feb 2nd should ship first and then so on and so forth.  Things seem to be moving so lets just see what happens.  Contact him or open a ticket today asking about this.   Who knows how many tickets they have from before, it could be lost in the shuffle.



According to WalletBit, I paid 2/2/2013 08:14:19. I'm not sure what time zone this is reported in (US/Pacific from what it looks like).

While I didn't do a trade-in, I have to imagine that I'm really early in the queue because of how early I paid, but I don't even have an order in the store nor anything else from Avalon.

Always had faith in Avalon. And have completely been fine with any Avalon delays,  just as long as the delay doesn't exceed 10% of BFL's lateness.

So people who ordered after me are having their units shipped? Awesome.

To bad they didn't actually save my phone number, there's still no place to put it in the billing site.. But I put in a support ticket like 2 months ago containing my phone number, all info, etc, of course that's never been answered or replied to. Maybe if they answered their support tickets before checking who does or does not have a phone number. But why do that when you can just ignore them?

I also received an email saying that a note has been added to my order.  The note specifies a DHL tracking number that now shows "Shipment information received", for a shipment originating in HK.

Meanwhile, I've still heard nothing regarding my trade-in order, though the tracking information shows the shipment was received by Mr. Chen on 20-April.

Walletbit have all your addresses, it was injected in checkout URL. If you open ticket at Walletbit support and ask to confirm address, they can do it. That what I did at Feb. 2.

Is anyone else's asic order still not showing up in the store page? I ordered on the first batch2 date and have contacted avalon and walletbit with no response...

Join the club, you're not alone. Three months after ordering I've never received a response to a support ignore ticket and have no idea if they're shipping to the correct address as nothing b2 shows on my account page for my feb 3 order. I've no choice but hope and pray they send the expensive hardware to the correct location.

Walletbit did eventually respond and acknowledged receipt of payment, though there's no confirmation of shipping address for my guest payment, perhaps you should harass them(walletbit).

I would be more concerned about Walletbit confirmation. Have you opened a ticket on their helpdesk? They were remarkably quick when I asked them for the confirmation note, took about 2 hours. I gave them TID and email.

Walletbit did get back to me and confirm payment, but as I paid as guest there's no confirmation of shipping address anywhere and Avalon support tickets have all gone unanswered. Avalon could dismiss any unease in seconds by simply confirming a shipping address, but they're not so great at this whole CS thing as we're all no doubt aware by now.

To be clear I still think Avalon is head and shoulders above that other dedicated ASIC hardware vendor...who shall remain nameless, just wish they'd hire some CS reps as it would alleviate a lot of unease for all involved. Also, while I appreciate them(Avalon) trying to spread the love around and give a little known payment processor some exposure, there's no denying that walletbit completely bent the pooch over on Feb 2 & 3. I still have no record of my batch 2 order at Avalon store because they(walletbit) were completely unable to deal with the traffic they had to know was coming. Agreed.

Not sure what happens with the guest orders, but my Walletbit confirmation (and all the others I've seen) do not confirm address either. From what I can remember, the address was parsed to WB in the checkout URL, so chances are they have a copy (I recall Yifu saying the WB DB was what they were going on).

I could not have said it better. Just a short note to say that things were in order would have been great. Unfortunately though, its a seller's market now and I guess its just something that we have deal with.

It's a shame Avalon did not deal with all the order administration after the CNY, valuable time has gone by that could have been used to sort out the many fragmented orders, simple things like checking the presence of a phone number, updating the orders of those who moved addresses.

What use is it to open tickets if nobody deal with them?

Running a business is more than producing kick ass hardware... it's also about getting the administration and accounting right. You know, the boring things.
