This is usually due to some configuration error in either the pool or the managed or profit miner.  Check all the settings and make sure you didn't miss anything.  You can also right-click a miner and have it run diagnostics... it will usually give you a clue as to what was configured wrong.

This is normal.  On ASICs the pools in your web interface are what the ASIC will boot up with.

Hi guys, fairly new to mining and really appreciate this software and all the ongoing support. 

I have been using a managed profit miner, but only mining to zpool with the default software settings for Nvidia cards.  Recently I came across some other threads and learned that the Alexis build of ccminer has a much higher hash rate for me on neoscrypt (860 vs 1160 KH/s), so naturally I would like to add Alexis in as the miner for neo.  For whatever reason I can't get the Alexis 1.0 that comes stock with awesome miner to initialize properly, it looks like it doesnt detect my 1070. 

As a result I downloaded Alexis 78 and have had success if I create a new miner only mining neo with a new profile.  What I havent been able to do is update the nvidia profile to select alexis 78 for neoscrypt.  When I change ccminer settings from default to disabled, and enable neoscrypt on Alexis and start the miner, neoscrypt is no longer one of the algorithms it is profit switching.  When I update my working alexis miner to add the additional algorithms using ccminer, again neoscrypt disappears from the profit switching.

I'm not sure that I explained this all that well as I am still learning about all this, but hopefully someone can help me out!

On this thought Patrike... Could you setup some triggers and actions to allow us to define our own profit switching algorithms?  For instance, like was mentioned before, we could have triggers that deal with the Whattomine or Online Services prices, or percentages, or network hashrates, etc, and then we could have action like switching to a numbered or referenced template.

I think it would be a killer feature.

I see what you mean.  I have asked for a way to calculate longer averages than just 24 hours as well.  It would take a bit of programming on Patrike's part.  There would have to be a data base to take snapshots at regular intervals, and do the averages from those.

1. No.  MPH will automagically create the workers.

2. I've disabled Siacoin as it was trying to dual mine Eth/Sia and Sia has an exchange problem currently.  I haven't been able to get Eth/Decred to run, (though I haven't really tried).

3. Profit Switching only switches algorithms, it's up to MPH (or whatever pool is being used) to decide on the coin.  As to why, AM is choosing lyra2RE2 over Neoscrypt, check "Online Services" and select the pool you are using.  That will show in order, the most to least profitable algos.

3 questions

1. With Mining Pool Hub do I need to create a worker under every single coin it might mine when using Profit Switching?

2. How do you go about setting up dual mining with Ethereum/Siacoin? It appears Ethereum/Decred are currently the only ones supported?

3. Any idea why my Profit Switching miner shows Monacoin as the most profitable coin in the Coins tab but AM continues to make it mine Neoscrypt Feathercoin which is down near the 5th in profitability? I have done the benchmark and checked everything I can think of without luck.

I don't have this issue.  Changes I make to profit profile take affect immediately I stop and start miners.  (Not "restart")

I've noticed that if I make changes to the profit profile I have to remove and recreate my miner in order for the changes to take affect.

Im running this on a rig with an r9 280 and an rx 480 linked to mining pool hub. For some reason claymore cryptonote, zcash and sgminer all wont work. Sg miner loads up and just sits there with no hashrate, zcash and cryptonote just restart over and over again.

I use these miners fine on the same system with MultipoolMiner. Does anyone know why this would be happening?

I can use claymore dual no problem with awesome miner.

I dont like how multipoolminer use eminer, it doesnt work correctly with my 280.

I just started using Awesome Miner last night with Mining Pool Hub.  So far everything is working correct.  I have 3 1070s and 1x 1070ti.  I woke up this morning to find it decided the Skein was the most profitable coin to mine after bouncing around last night to different coins making way more per day.  It wont work on anything else and is saying I am earning $7.65/day.  I know that other coins are more profitable right now.  Why is it going right after Skein?

I tried updating my workers on Mining Pool Hub to exclude Skein but it still goes after it.  Is there a way to block that algo from running in Awesome Miner while connected to Mining Pool Hub?

Hey guys... Need some advice.

So I have 2 1070 mining and once in a while it stop mining by itself... not sure how to prevent this.
Can I get some help on it. Here is what I get in the logs:

SO at 5:10:07 it stopped working... as from what I understood because of it fails to connect to nicehash, but I have it disabled on the settings... I have wallet entered there, but no check mark.

Did some one experienced same issue? Thank you.

AM displays the profit of KRB @ 4.8 kH/s at $10 per day but WhatToMine shows $18.30.  That's a large variation.  XMR is much closer, less than a dollar's difference.

I'm running AMD RX 580's on this Rig's. Everytime SgMiner start it's crashing/ does not start. Analyzing AwesomeMinerService.log says:

Maybe it is the IP address 127.0.0.1 instead of the hostaddress (10.4.1.2) that makes the trouble. I even had added both of SgMiners to the exception list of my Firewall but still no luck. Can anyone give advice to this? Thank you in advance for any help

Following on from my previous post. Patrike it would make AM much easier to use if we could create multiple miners for each rig. How about changing the maximum miners for each edition to restrict only the number of miners in use at once instead of the number defined?

Is it not possible to create another miner for the same rig?

Can someone help me with my 4 rigs. 2 rigs consists of Nvidia 1070 cards and I dont have any problem of them all. The problems I encountering are my AMD Rigs with RX 470 & RX 480 cards (named ARKI-1 & ARKI -3, see screenshots) It says mining but its not mining at all. I try all other methods like restarting the miner, the computer,disabling the anti-virus. etc. Also I notice that this occurs when switching to other pools or coins, its coming like this. Attached also are the screenshots of the miners, I think it stuck and cannot proceed to mine. Please anyone also encounter this problems or know how to solve it. hello, I just downloaded another AM on my nvidia laptop to run while I am not using it. I set it up, benchmarked it, but it only benchmarked a few, then I tried to run it after. But it keeps popping up the miner for a second then disappearing and saying interface offline on AM GUI. I looked in the logs and this is what it shows.

Any help would be much appreciated, as I have no clue what would cause this and have not been able to find any info as of yet to help.
