Hi guys,
I have just received the invoice from Baikal for X10.
How do i recognize it's genuine factory and not a scam?

I'm sure a more senior member can chime in here, but this is the payment info I received from Baikal previously for wire transfer:

   USD account number: 451-906-071-4
   Beneficiary: VITCORE HOLDINGS LIMITED
   Ajeltake Road, Ajeltake Island, Majuro
   Tel: 692 247 3018
   Fax: 692 247 3017

   Bank Details:
Bank Name: United Overseas Bank Limited
   Branch Name: UOB Main
Branch Address: 80 Raffles Place UOB Plaza
   1 Singapore 048624

   Bank Code: 7375
   Swift Code: UOVBSGSG
   Branch Code: 001. Note:

There's one other bank account they've used (can't remember details, try forum search) so don't panic if these details don't match what they sent.
I can confirm this account i have sent multiple wires at this account.

Sorry,  280 a day.

But yes, we can mine vcash.
At pool setup at the miner page , use the pool at the bottom of page.
That is the vcash.

Has anyone tried to setup vcash?
The pool site is strange, i only see i have shares.
I didn't find a wallet. Only use a bittrex wallet, because poloniex wallet is closet.

I did  run it for an hour, but i did see nothing in my bittrex wallet.

I should make 280 dollar an hour following whattomine.
This should be the last high payout algo from the baikal.
But i don't think it is working very well.

We can mine Vcash using baikal-B? I thought Vcash is using Vanilla algorithm and I think you are mining with wrong algorithm.

Is that why you got nothing inside your wallet?

If we can make 280 dollar per hour using baikal-b, that is totally amazing. We can get back our ROI in 1 day easily.  Grin

Right now, with 50 dollars per day using baikal-b, I am a bit regret for buying into this.  Sad

The Vcash algo is usually referred to as blake256-8rnd-VNL

BlakeCoin + Merged mine coins are the orginal blake256-8rnd coins

I have not seen any verification on which blake256 coins the Giant-B mines

now 50 USD / day
it was 500$ / day  Kiss
and thats way i hate ASIC , when it becomes unprofitable you can't even resell  Angry

This should of already been assumed.

ASICs killed GPU mining Bitcoin

We moved onto Litecoin and Litecoin Scrypt ASICs killed GPU mining Bitcoin

Later on it was the X11 algo, and now its these dual-minable coins.

Either way $50 a day is pretty good if you only paid $3K. ROI ls less than a GPU rig.

Interested as well.  Currently the only miner capable of mining multiple currencies, well we'll see.

X10 too Smiley love these Multi Algo Miners from Baikal.

Shipping took 2 business days by UPS from China to USA, same shipping speed as Bitmain's A3s, UPS 2-day from China to USA. Managed to order 4x A3, guess they'll be going in the bedrooms until I can get a mining shed up. Sure hope they will be quieter than a swarm of Giant Bees!!

Hi,

I am very new to mining and lucky enough have Baikal Giant B arrived today thanks for ITOP. I connected it to Nicehash as they told me it is good for beginners. The issue I have is huge difference between miner speed in the miner status page and nicehash accepted speed which is only 1.5 GH...
Please i need help and advice....

What nh shows is crazy, plus they are switching you around a lot. Wait a while, calculate eaarnings, divide by hours. If it's still low try switching algorithms.

Thanks a lot. I switched algorithms and only pascal seems working with NH accepted speed between 30 to 40 GH/'s ($30-$45 per day). Other algorithms less than 1.85 GH/'s.  What should I do next?

Another happy customer of Baikal's. I ordered directly and was updated every step of the way.

Mine have been hashing as advertised, > 40 GH per Giant B for Lbry:

Had to set these up in the kitchen, running out of circuits to use:

These were my first ASICs and setup/configuring computer side was 10 to 15 minutes (mostly reading). If I had to do it again, which I will later tonight at another location, perhaps 5 min of computer work, tops. Scary, because this means anyone can mine with ASICs.

Quality? As expected. Ultimately, time will tell.
Noise? Sounds like a vacuum cleaner, @ 74 decibels for each.
Heat? Very little.
Worth the investment? So far, yes. Substantial resale value at x3 cost or more of batch 1 cost. Earnings > GPU rig yet less size/heat/energy.

The other big plus for these miners are the multi-algo support.

My group has a lot of Baikals - and I must say....if you take good care of them, they work stable & cool -- and with very good technical support. Ask them to send you the "Baikal Monitor Utility" - its a slick Windows utility and identifies all types of Baikal models, does resets, change pools etc all done in a single dashboard.
