did you mine with baikal giant N now? how much the powerdraw of that asic, sir?

Yes, but i have not checked power draw at the moment, but its around 60w, no doubt. Produces no heat with fan at 20%.
I haven't checked that too, but I've set fan to 5%, still 32°C only.

I already have a working version. Which will be made public in a short time. Bummer is, not possible to OC, and not possible to mine V7 at this moment. Firmware updates are needed.

Awesome, so what possible tweaks could be made? Intensity or something?

Fan speed? :-D
From my findings, both clock and algo is limited to firmware on the ST chip. Maybe a brighter mind can figure out some more, its out in the public: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/sgminer-baikal-giant-x10-n-b-open-source-confirmed-oc-giant-b-3206908

That can be easily checked like i wrote they are using I2C or SPI protocols to communication with off the shelf STM32 chip, most like I2C judging from the number of pins to the main board, I2C or SPI communication can be sniffed with standard equipment and the communication protocol reversed engendered ....

From this photo is clear they use two crystal oscillators to drive the ASICs clocks, could be for simpler design they use fixed frequency multipliers in every ASIC chips and the chip frequency is not configurable through software but the crystals oscillators can be changed , some old school overclocking Smiley

Also they use I2C or SPI protocol to communicate to the "command" board this could be reverse engineered also and custom firmware could be crafted but this require skilled person with a lot of free time Smiley

I'm still working on disassembling their updated sgminer, but if I come across anything useful I'll be putting a post about it up.

Anybody found way to use SGminer options to OC this little bastard? Or some other tweaking?

Here is some inside images of Baikal Giant N miner. ASIC Chip is BK1751. Voltage regulating is a little different on N with IC regulator instead of VRM as in X10.

Thank you. It's interesting that the chips are completely different than whitefire's (https://astr.al/u/d84faf23_155x409.png)
I have the same BS51 chips like whitefire990

wouldn't ASIC are under the heatsinkture?

I think you're forgetting the entire rig uses 60W. Less than a watt per chip, no need for any heatsinks.

@whitefire990 any chance you can get some more detailed photos of the hashboards?
There is one giant heatsink on each board. He took photo of the other side of board.

I wouldnt call it garbage considering that the main purpose of this device  is not mining, also you save 40 dollars but calculate that for 100 or even 1000 devices is it irrelevant this savings when your a big player, you actually save a lot of money.
The problem is that no one so far want to release public bitstreams for FPGAs(yes people are mining on FPGAs for months now), greedy bastards Cheesy, also very few people actually can do efficient VHDL or Verilog code for FPGAs but in future if the crypto market is not doomed this will change.

For which cryptocurrency do you need a bitstream? And which FPGA you are considering?
What time of payback period do you expect?

Guys, Monero is not a Newton's binomial. You can write RTL for a couple of months by yourself.
