I decided to look at our totals for the last couple days and found that we have mined about 9 million batcoins just from guano blocks.  We are averaging just over 12 guano blocks a day and each day has been more than the previous.  For 1/24/14 we found 17 guano blocks.

Since bat.poolers.org is having so much luck with these, I thought it would be fun to have a guano block finding competition. Here are the details:


Guano Block Competition

-Contest will run for 1 week starting today 1/25/2014 at 5pm (server time).  It is currently about 2:20 am for the server if you want to compare it with the stamp on this post.
-To give both high and low hashrates a chance at winning something, there will be 2 prizes.
    
1st Prize:  1 Million BatCoins will go to the person who finds the most guano blocks during the contest.
2nd Prize:  500,000 BatCoins will go to the person who finds the 42nd guano block of the contest. Based on our current rate this should happen around the middle of the contest.

Each prize will go to a different person. If the same person that wins the first prize happens to also find the 42nd block, then it will go to the person that found the 43rd and so on until there are separate winners for each prize.  Since it is random finding one and we have just been really lucky, if for some reason we dont find that number of guano blocks, the 2nd prize part of the contest will extend beyond the week until the 42nd guano block is found.

Newcomers to the pool are welcome to participate, the more the merrier.

Here is a screenshot of our guano blocks over the last couple days if anyone is interested. Look how much things have ramped up in the last 24 hours!

I up voted for the exchanges... I really resisted the urge though because the longer this coin remains quiet, the more profits we all make when it soars up the charts. I will resist the urge to sell immediately as the batcoin has potential to take over from the likes of Doge given time.

edit: P.S. as I've said elsewhere, didn't realise how much support this coin has received for such little a comparatively low net hash rate. Only problem now is the diff is going up... I fear the bats out of the bag! *cue drums*

That makes more sense but that isn't what the 1st post says:

"6 Guano blocks a day will deliver X4 more coins, and a super Guano block X10 coins every 4 days."

I like your explanation of it though because that means we aren't necessarily capped out for the day.  Lets find some more bat poop blocks!

There's not 6 blocks per day, there is a 6/960 chance for each block to be a guano block, which averages out to 6 per day. So there may be a big variance from day to day.

Yeah we have been really lucky with the guano blocks the last couple days.  We have got 5 of the guano blocks in the last 2 hours which is weird considering there are only supposed be 6 per day. I thought they would be spread out more.

poolers pool is on those guano blocks. getting the majority of them at the moment. really lucky right now, lets hope it continues for the x10 block.

Make sure you have wallet version 1.3.0.0

There was a fork early on so you might just need to update your wallet. If you do have the correct version it might just need to sync.  Even though it was advertised that nodes are not needed with this wallet, that hasn't been the case for some people including myself.  My windows wallet was able to sync without nodes but my linux wallet wouldn't get any connections until I added a couple nodes to the config file.
