Good or not website project investing like IEOs and ICOs looking whit how they made whitepaper, many scam investing project using fake whitepaper where they stole from other project and use for their self, when you careful by reading their whitepaper side you know which one real investing project and we know have to invest or not with their ICO investment.
Whitepaper can not be used as a benchmark if the ICO or IEO projects are legit because now there are many projects whose whitepapers are copying from others, investors should be able to choose and research more closely to avoid scams or shitcoin projects.

yes investment is risk related, if you are not ready to take the risk my advice is better you take the time to study the project and cryptoqurrency before making that decision. no offense, I don't forbid you to do that, it's just that I care about you. in most cases beginners are one of the targets that are mature by scamers.
It is indeed better to learn in advance about cryptocurrency before deciding to invest in a project and also beginners are good targets for scammers. So it is better to read and learn first about cryptocurrency but the problem is most people want to profit quickly.

before I invest to cryptocurrency I check the website first, I will read all the details inside the website, then I check the road map of the project, road map is very import for you to know the destination of the project, next I will read the whitepaper carefully, world by world because you need to understand the purpose of the project, next I will also investigate the team behind the project, you need to check the reputation of each team member, check all their social media account. last but not the least where the public sale will happen, I will only buy if they will sell the token to cmc top 3 exchanger.

1. Check the overall contents of the project such as a team, road map, white paper, etc.
2. Check various features offered by the project such as privacy coins or decentralized coins.
3. Check how valuable the coins are or compare with other more popular coins. if the coins have potential, of course have a multi-professional team & the volume of coins always increases.
4. To be honest, the best coins to invest are the top coins or have been listed in the top 10 at CMC.
5. I suggest you invest in established coins rather than looking for very young and newly planted coins to invest.
I say this because I personally don't have a high risk appetite, so it's better to invest safely ..
how about you guys?
checking teams, roadmap and white papers are just a plus because fake, shit coins and scam projects can deliver the best teams with good roadmap and white papers, new projects are more like lottery games this days, if I have to trust any new project it will be from binance

For now I agree if we prefer to invest safely like investing some of our money in top coins rather than new projects that have high risks because lately we often see many new projects that turn into scams but this does not mean that new projects not worth investing, there are still new projects that are good and worth investing in but for now I prefer to invest in the top coins.

Yes, I agree with some of the tips op have mentioned. I also did research before investing in crypto. starting from the whitepaper, the road map, the manager and the development team and also the social media is active or not. and I also always look at the state of the crypto market before investing. Even if the project is good and successful in sales but poor market conditions, the coin will not develop because the bear market will cause the coin to decline. when the bear market like this is better invested in the top 10 coins is safer and the risk of loss is also smaller than investing in new coins.

Taking precautions is of course necessary, but they still will not be able to provide complete security from scammers. I also observe all these points that you have described, but sometimes it doesn't help.

This is a good step or guidelines for someone who finds it hard getting involved with good projects. With this as guide and with constant improvement, someone can invest while making the right decision. Also, you failed to state that risks exists in this space and this one needs to thoroughly know what he is doing before investing, thereby I agree with your number 4 and 5, it easier to invest with top 10 coins than in upcoming projects.

Nice work. But does this list make big gains? It can prevent big losses. The excitement of this market, unfortunately speculation is very strong. It doesn't make sense to invest money in this market with debt. This excitement can cause you harm.

The right choice and advice. For those who don't like high risk, choosing tokens and coins that already exist in the market and occupying the top rank can minimize risk. Of course, this risk can be minimized if based on in-depth market analysis. Meanwhile, to join in a new project, we must really examine the project as a whole, check the white paper and the team involved. Now it's easier if you join IEO directly on trusted global exchanges. They must have done a thorough analysis so they wanted to work together to run IEO.

I rarely read whitepaper to be honest. The only reason why I would read the whitepaper is when the project gets to be hype that I see a lot of users are shilling it. When projects suddenly gets the attention of governments like Telegram, I eventually become curious and read its details but if not I just pass and get back to watching the markets again of the top coins instead of looking for new coins to invest with.

Some people make their investment decisions based on what they read on white paper, this is so wrong in my opinion because nowadays scam projects have the best whitepapers with many fake promises and impressive roadmap. However, it's necessary to go through the white paper for any project you think it's worth investing in. It must not be for new projects, I do go through whitepaper of some older projects for better understanding of the project and also to know if they follow roadmap.

Before investing in cryptocurrency, you need to be prepared that good profit does not always work out. You can get big losses. For investments, it is better to choose already proven and popular coins.

When you are investing in top coins you don't need to check a lot of things, others did that for you. What people should do is to prepare some money and buy coins they believe in long run, after that is simply waiting. Crypto is good for making money in long run, and its the safest way from them all. Everything fast can be very risky, and usually chasing for quick profit  leads to losing invested money.

If you are not comfortable taking huge risks then the solution is very easy, you do not have to create a complex a strategy the only thing that you need to do is to buy bitcoin and hold it for as long as possible, if you can hold your bitcoin for at least two or three years then most likely you will have profits without having to lift a single finger and I do not know about you but I am unable to find many investments that can give me that kind of assurance of profits like bitcoin does.

Reading the whitepaper in more detail will help you to find out more details about a project. Because everything will be in the whitepaper. vision and mission and goals you can know. Find out the real or fake project from the whitepaper. Whitepapers are very simple without any detailed explanation, but there are some whitepaper projects that are very detailed but copy other whitepaper projects.

I prefer investing in top-50 coinmarketcap coins and avoid ICO/IEO risks. Too weak market we are seeing now leads to huge risks and this causes too many people to lose money constantly...
