Some people buy them at a cheap price then wait for the time when the value of that particular coin to rise then sell them at a big price. Some people use exchanges. Different people have different tactics you can sell than when the price is high and earn a great profit.

Hy guys. Most of the time I use to trade with altcoins and I use to sell altcoins when they are above ICO price and giving some profit. I do not hold atlcoins for long time. What if you have some altcoins, what will be your strategy to use that coins? Is there any specific best time for every altcoin and when it is going well and we should sell ??
Wait and see, if the prices is good to sell (when you already get a profit of course), sell it and otherwise if the prices is good to buy, we can buy and take a prices target to close your position.
always analyze is the key point to know the best time to sell altcoins because you can know when the price increases high so you can make a big profit. don't sell if you don't make a profit and still hold when the price is down is a good strategy. maybe in the future, you will find the best time for selling your altcoins and if you can see that there are an instant pump, it is better for you to sell it right away because the price will be back to the price before in the next minutes.
In my opinion, the best time to sell them is the price that is higher than the price you bought... Be patient for a long time, and wait for higher prices when you buy.
The best time to sell altcoin is the time when you feel the current worth of your portfolio has surpassed the initial value of your investment. That is actually the time to reap some good money. when the price goes hyperbolic, when you see new all time highs every hour or every day consistently and it's increasing too quickly too fast, that's when you sell.
the question is .... When exactly ! selling in the middle of up trends is a common thing , but when you in a moment where Many times got the ATH you could wait a little bit longer until it's go down a little bit ... I prefer sell on a correction that's show a bearish rather than have to missed the top value. Altcoins often break the ath a lot of times , that's what I can tell you.

Yes if course there's a specific time when we sell our altcoin we can't say when because market is always volatile now. Maybe if the altcoin we hold is on high price we can sell it but for now is big no because lot of people crying because the market is on down trend.

Selling your altcoins right now is the worst thing you can do because the market prices are currently decreasing so keep on holding your coins or invest in order to earn more profit in the future.
You have to find every project, if there are great news upon release to the market I wouldn't sell, only if there's unbacked hype.
I am tired of this bearish market. Today I looked at the prices and I felt an immediate wish to sell all my coins but I did not do this action. I consider that if the dropping of bitcoin will not be stopped at 6000$ than the next aims are 4000$ and 2000$ and it is very pity but it is the fact.
if in fact everything will happen, then in the future investors will have a great distrust to the crypto currency and increase the potential will not be long enough. Perhaps this may be the beginning of the end of the crypto currency.

I think the best time to sell altcoin is when the market is green and bitcoin strikes high. The best time to sell in in the fourth quarter of the year where the market usually dump at it's best price. Hodling potential altcoins could really give us a good gain if we know when to sell.
I think that the best time to buy an altcoins
Take a look into the current price, all are in dump and isn't wise to sell the off at this time. We shall wait for it to grow a little bit, it will moves actually and we should never loss chances to earned more. But if you can't wait for that, certainly a regrets will come to you.

I buy altcoins when it's dip like now all coins in the market is on affordable price. And I sell it when the go higher beca6i want get more profits and I know some traders do that strategy too. the best time to sell altcoin is when the market is rising and the market is green or if the market is red but you buy it when the price is down you can also sell it, not to lose when selling it, at least we sell when there is profit 5%
Yeah green time is good to sell because at green most of time price consider to be high, so I think w should buy now more and more, no need to sell if you are not in need of money or something like this, being hurry to sell while trading is only a big lose but nothing else, so hold as much as you have, soon the market of crypto will turn to become green.

Well, since you didn't qualify, the simple answer here is when it is actually at its peak. The best possible value you can get for the coin once sold would be the most desirable time to sell it. It may take varying time periods like a matter of weeks or months, or even years. But, what's important here is the profit margin you want to gain from your investment. You also have to be realistic too that there might be conditions when you have to lessen your desired amount, especially when the coin you have is not doing that good.
i think and as well as i do when i get profit i sell them or when im in need for something urgently that can t wait only then bcuz it needs a bit time to analyze the best time.

This time is not the best to sell because of this bitcoin dip and a lot of red in the marketcap. That strategy really best suit if the market is in normal way and not really in a correction but this today it is too impossible to gain profit. The main focus today is to HODL all of your crypto in your portfolio to avoid loss.
You buy them at low prices. And sell at high prices, so you get a profit margin, but it is important to know if you hold patience, if you hold them long, you will have more opportunities to sell at a more reasonable price.
