only bct ann is clearly not enough. it's necessary to use all possible resources (sites, social networks, messengers, video hostings, etc.).
social media can work fine for promoting the ico, and if there are many participants who join in the ico, they can promote the ico and reach more audience from many countries. besides that, we can make an article which published on many websites, and this will reach more people to come and check the ico, and of course, this can attract more investor to join with the ico. there will be many more ways to promote ico, and the team projects can decide which ways that they want to use to promote their ico.

I think one can best promote an ico is making so much about it on social media just like naga did and using mailing list to update people who are interested in the project and then social media , bounties airdrops etc .....

For me I think YouTube is now a bad idea and having social media accounts for the project where people on such social media can easy ask questions
There is no just one better way for a project to get known by the public there's a lot of ways like social media , airdrops etc
For me I think using a announcement thread on Bitcointalk is a very good option too as you can easily get your project to people who already know about crypto and are willing to invest in a good project
