I think an ann thread is a good start, also try to make a few important announcements on twitter or fb, remember that we are in a globalized world and the best way to get information is through social media, also you could do some special promotions to attract the attention of investors quickly, marketing will be one of the most important tools for the success of an ICO, and the technical details come after you have an established base of future customers.
There are different effective ways to promote ico but for me the best one is through social media. Let's be real here, almost all people around the world have some sort or use a certain social media platform. So if we do our promoting there we can reach a lot of audience and potential investors.

Each project is different, so there is no one best way to promote an ICO. Ann threads are becoming useless, actually (for most projects), as readers are overwhelmingly bounty hunters and not investors. Projects now need an individual marketing plan to be able to quickly find they core target audience.

if in my opinion, it can use the system of bounty signature, telegraph, yutub, etc. it will make people become more familiar with Seca with the Ico bro. or promote via @gmail like we sent the application or the Ico Wallet and given a little bonus if we install and distribute it. like Ico LYL's doubt ..
I'm sure the best way to promote an ICO is to ask the most popular crypto languages to talk about your project, hire some good advisors who trust the crypto community, and the ICO project will be fully promoted
There are many ways to promote an ICO and more than one factor is involved. Many successful ICO of today must have initially spent some money and time to make sure it was successful. The more the promotion funds available, the more it can create more buzz. Bounties are also very effective to create awareness and a big community
I think the signature campaign is the best place to advertise your ICO project. This is a forum for introducing electronic money, for large potential ICO projects. The current signature campaign has many members involved. ICO projects will be successful when participating in the signature campaign.

There is no substitute for a powerful signature campaign, particularly one that is long and has the ability to gain support from the senior members that have large signatures.
Bitcointalk is the best medium to Promote ICO, most of bitcoin enthusiasts are on this forum,,,, I just click on anybody's signature and look for myself if I like to invest or not and other medium is social media which is a veritable tool to reach out to potential investors

yes you can try that i think it is one of the best ways. and bounty are possible yet i doubt it will be as effective as you expect it to be. 
The best way to promote ICO is to make the project look legitimate. Make the audience aware of your ico.
Promoting the ico project must have a good ann and a large community like telegram and facebook groups. there everyone can find information about the ico project.
I think bounty promotion is the best because if the project fails the project does not loose millions in advertising and the hunters only loose a bit of time. IF the project succeeds the hunters get a nice payout. It seems like a fair deal for all parties.
Every project is really different so there is no way you can promote the ICO.
I think that good advertising will do more than half of the work for you. Bounty companies will also be helpful but you have to make good rules for bounty hunters. Stricter rules, but also a good reward! I wouldn't do airdrop.
I think good Bounty campaign through different social medias is the best option for promoting an ICO.
I think that Bounty Campaign is good for promoting ICO, but I'm not sure with Signature Campaign. Because no one will be interested with just a few words on our signature. Let's compare with other, in other campaigns, they write many advantages in their coin. But in the signature, they just write Name coin, also only full member above which can put their link.
Signature campaign is helpful to spread the name for it to be familiar for the investors and contributors. From the name, you can get the idea why the project has been created. Signature is mostly used to promote the ICO because it is link directly on more info about the project and learn more about it.Signature is very helpful because some of the people here in forum want to invest their money and they can easily click the signature we are wearing and they will see about the project.
There are many ways to promote the ICO, just give the right information and be true.
