What happened to that reliable source that puts J. Stones in missing just the Supercup with Sevilla again?
That source was correct at the time that was shared. Stones got injured in training after Sevilla match.
It apparently was but, so was my prediction of a possible minor hamstring turning into a major injury should he not be rested and they didn't, bringing him to warm up for Newcastle United big game and thee he was, injured.

This GW should be my worst in first 5 weeks of the game so this is your opportunity to catch up with me Smiley As long as Salah doesn't outscore Haaland by a lot I will be happy with my GW result, Mbuemo blank would do nicely as well.

I want penalty for Spurs to see who is their no.1 penalty taker and it will also help with my both to score bet.
I wonder if I did catch up with this sort of points. It's a big game where I expected E. Haaland to show his big foot but, not even an assist came from him, a big waste of my captain. I thought of it though only later today, knowing how difficult Newcastle United could be buy of course, that was way late with kick-off haven't started yesterday.

Mbuemo happened to have been the man today for most.
How do I not have Solly March on my team again... even with how much I acknowledge him and aware of his gifts!

This week not looking good already...

First it started with Joao Pedro missing in action only to score zero points to his name and his replacement Welbeck had zero impact to this game which is a shame and wondering if this decision was really made by the manger or it was a disciplinary action to show the players who is boss...

And United players blank again against a superb Tottenham  Roll Eyes,  it's a headache owning these guys and I will not be part of this drama going forward...and from my observation mistake that kills Utd is starting Garnacho who has proved unless for this extra time, best he starts off the bench Tongue

This week has been a very terrible week for me. I saw it coming as majority of my selections had a difficult fixture but I could not make enough changes to mitigate the outcomes but its done now. Shaw, Onana and Rashford earned me some points on monday for keeping a clean sheet but they caused me more points today for the –1 point deduction for conceding 2+ goals. After watching their first 2 games of the season, I'm convinced that playing as a CF is not a favorable position for Rashford. Struggled all game. As for J. Pedro, no words, Nada.

Only good thing to come out this week was that I replaced KDB with Mbeumo and he earned me 16 points (13 base + 3 bonus). Next, I'm taking burn off since they've got Liverpool's attack to deal with next week.

Now waiting for Man City, How will Haaland score again as captain of my team? Ohh sure he scores again. LOL
Haaland was poor today, had many poor touches even with the many opportunities he had. The most impressive player for Manchester City was Foden. The boy is sure working hard to ensure that he can fill the position left by De Bruyne. In the game against Newcastle, he was everywhere, finding the little spaces and making some good pass. He was the well deserved MOTM.

For the many of us that have Haaland, you must feel the disappointment.

For Manchester United, very poor performance from Martinez who had fitness concerns before the game. Bruno needs to stop nagging! Casimero is getting old and slow and Garnacho needs to stop starting games, he does better as a substitute player.

Isak who is on my team had no effect today against Manchester City. Callum Wilson who came in for him had a bigger influence in front.

Now I can breathe a sigh of huge relief, Haaland racking up points today would have been very detrimental for my week given that a lot people didn't mind Man City playing against Newcastle.

Haaland actually had a couple chances, that he would have scored on an average day, but he just could not find his magic touch today and Newcastle defense combined with Nick Pope's making some huge saves was enough to keep Haaland down to earth for today, so no damages done, and taking out Bruno Fernandes for Salah seemed to have paid off for me after all, not a wasted transfer, I must say.

A good day for Estupinan, Mitoma, March and Mbeumo owners!
Estupinan at GW2 was quite satisfied, but Martinez was disappointed that Man United's second goal had to kill himself so the points he got were minus.
Mitoma 2 matches were pretty good - Varane didn't live up to expectations. Sad

Now waiting for Man City, How will Haaland score again as captain of my team? Ohh sure he scores again. LOL

Joao Pedro's being able to collect 0 points today affected my squad also in a negative way. I couldn't get any contribution for two matches from Rashford, Bruno Fernandes and Son who are in my squad. I can add Mitoma to my squad depending on Brighton's fixture. I can say Bryan Mbeumo who is in my squad saved this week for me by managing to collect 16 points. I hope my team captain Haaland can manage to score goal(s) against Newcastle.

Joao Pedro on the bench is ine thing, but entering in second half is much worse
at least March was there to back me up on Brighton win, since I didn't want to have three Brighton players in the team, seems as bug mistake so far

Liverpool won, but it wasn't there for much points, Fulham going down badly against Brentford, and United boogers, while I have Hojlund from Tottenham, he will be first to transfer out

Ahhh man, thanks Alexis McCallister and his red card, - 2 points in this gameweek for me, Salah missing a penalty, and collecting only 10 points. Rashford not making anything, well i cant go so much up with this. Another week on the bottom?

i made a small mistake and instead of substituting the goalkeeper Flekken (who would have brought me 5 points today alone) for the gw2 (for Onana) i did it for the next gw3 Tongue
now i have undone it and for the gw2 Onana is now still between the posts

A good day for Estupinan, Mitoma, March and Mbeumo owners!

Some of you guys have already hit 50 points. Very impressive.

Jawbreaker, Joao Pedro starts from the bench and Welbeck leads the attack for Brighton, now a lot of think to do for managers like me begin with potential Wissa and Mbuemo switch along the line, it's too early ffs  Huh
Rotations Rotations Rotations...
And here I was wondering why Joao Pedro has not got any points at the start of the half where Brighton leads against wolves, only to see his name is on the bench..this is not good! For our consolation hope he gets in as a super sub and gets on the scorecard Roll Eyes

Liverpools Salah and Diaz doing what they do best, great assets to have .

JP and Wellbeck are sharing the striker spot. So don't expect too many points from them.

You know who is worth watching? Taiwo Awoniyi. Guy scored in each of his last two games. Wissa too.

Yes! He was indeed our super-sub, he came on and deprived us that single point he got by picking up a yellow, such a bummer for this gameweek! Along side my clumsy captain who had to miss a penalty before he eventually scored the goal.

A blank from would be the biggest consolation for the week for me, Mbuemo already making it huge for his owners  Lips sealed
Mbuemo really got too many points for my comfort but at least I am happy with Salah 5 points. Those 2 were my biggest regrets for this week. Now I can wait for Haaland to do his thing and hopefully something like 3:3 draw between Spurs and United. Too bad I am out whole day and can't watch anything.

Speaking of Liverpool's defense and TAA as a 8m defender, the clean sheet is already out of the picture as early as the third minute against f**king Bournemouth, when does it actually end, so It's a goal or a couple of assist from TAA today again or it's another week of wasting public funds on misplaced priority  Shocked

Wow Liverpool have one of the weakest defense in the league+ Allison is no longer the same after his Long injury and you spent 8m hard British currency on TAA?. There is nothing good about Liverpool back at the moment.

-2 point for Salah for missing PK. I love this fucking sport + he's off bonus points

Mitoma and Estu already at it with a goal and assist respectively to give Brighton the lead.

Both beast on my team. Let's fucking goal!!!

Not surprised about Perdro he missed so many scoring opportunities last match. There is Ferguson and Wellbech as option trust me there is going to be a heavy rotation in that position. Only Mitoma and Estu position are secured. Watkins time to deliver!!!

I believe Joao Pedro place is actually more secured, and only Mitoma has better chances than him in attack though, because he could play any where upfront too, and Mitoma did missed as many chances too, and Welbeck did the most of chance wastage if you ask me.

Harkorede - If Pep is attempting to create and transfer Gvardiol to the LB position, then implies Stones and Dias/Akanji will play at the CB. My major issue is Stone's fitness; if he stays fit, I believe he will play more games than Gvardiol.

Stones could have prevented that Seville goal you know? He's very good in the air.

Yeah, I think it's just for the time being, just to help grow some confidence before slotting right into the center of the defense because a lot of pass decision making will be required of him, and he can't afford to lose his confidence just before he gets the chance to prove he's world class.

Good luck to him. He has Lewis, Aker and Akanji to contest with at that position. Lewis is the only natural LB among them this season.

@NotATether- Onana with another clean sheets. Watch out.

Spurs are playing high scoring Agneball, they are not like previous managers. Lots of goals but no clean sheets for both sides. That's why I benched Onana.

Or course, it is also a risk to play Leno against Brentford that has Wissa and penalty-taking Mbeumo, but the risk is lower than with United's match.

My second choice GK is Westham Areola, who will almost certainly concede three goals against Chelsea, and my other option is Onana, so there was simply nothing I could do and no GK is worth a -4 hit at the time. I'm just praying the United-Tottenham game ends in another 1-0 or 0-0 draw.
I know both teams are unstable at the back but the unexpected could happen.

Hhampuz seems like you're going to win our side bet although I expect Gvardiol injury episodes to start soon too. ( not wishing him bad but both are injury prone players)

The thing is with Guardiola his rotation policy are very and reduces the chances of injury even to injury prone players, I remember what almost every sport analyst had to say about Haaland's injury worries when he was signed last season, but Guardiola the rotation policy helped him as many matches as possible without taking unprecedented risks.

I really don't think Gvardiol would miss out on so many matches and Guardiola having him play at left back for now in my opinion means he's trying to work on his ball playing skills so in no time, you can expect a new defense general  Wink
