If Mahrez and Grealish start today, Foden and Silva will start the next game.
Probably but that is precisely why this is not the week to remove any of them if City has a double. Each of those players you mentioned is pretty much guaranteed to play 90 minutes over the 2 games. Meaning you area actually getting a nailed City attacker that will play minutes like it is single GW and not double. Still looks ok for me.

That being said if these doubles do go trough, I feel like Haaland and Kane are the way to go. Kane will play all the minutes and Haaland will probably play most of them.

Halaand will likely be rested or bring on in the second half if things don't go well in the first half, but Alvarez will probably start today's game. Due to a lack of game time, Foden's confidence has declined, and even if he plays, I don't think he will contribute significantly. After all, we all saw how poorly he performed against Chelsea. Getting Kane for the double week is still the best choice, I suppose; I've been debating it for a while.

My question is, why are you guys  still holding Foden? Saka gets more playing time and scores more points than Foden and he costs £1 less.
For me it is very simple, I am keeping Foden since i don't have enough free transfers to get him out  Grin It is often better to just wait then to spend points for a transfer that can backfire. Especially if City has a double GW.

What is with the name change? I know it is not that easy to do it here on the forum so you must have had a good reason Smiley

but first to confirm double game week for City, in FA cup, eventual replay should cancel it, and it is hard to win over same opponent two times in few days

I already have my plans for next game week but as you've said the only thing I'm waiting on is for either Chelsea or Manchester City to win later  tonight, it's already guaranteed with Tottenham but still Chelsea vs City to go, I'm looking on triple for Tottenham because I'm literally sure that without injuries the players I'm getting will play nothing less 60 minutes, while it's not guaranteed with City, I would literally place a bet on De Bruyne despite how important to Guardiola would not play 90 minutes of their next 3 games, or might not even start one, and that of Citizens vs Chelsea looks like the most likely situation to get a breather for De Bruyne, so If that's the case, I'm very likely to opt for De Bruyne too, but I do know for a fact that if he plays tomorrow for 90 minutes he's definitely going to miss one of those double GW, or not play for too long. If I'm to triple on Man City I'd likely have gone with Ederson but the problem is that he doesn't get to make to many saves in every game, so I'll be cool with have Pope in goal, Rodri could have been another option for me, the fact he his classified as a MD makes it highly illogical to have him for whatsoever reason.

My main concern is Kulu. Is there any update on him? He had a minor injury and missed two games. I believe he will be available for the DGW, and since I already have him, I only want to do Darwin to Kane and possibly KDB to Saka/Ode, but my main concern right now is Kulu. I'm willing to take a -4 to have only Halaand from Manchester City on my team. The Pep Roulette game is killing everyone, and I'm not about to fall for it again.

looking to add City player as well for next week, not sure about adding two, one free transfer available, and hardly perspective candidates on midfield, Salah vs KDB is tough game, but double gameweek should done it

I'm not sure what player you  which players you're considering adding to your roster. A double game week often occurs when a team plays two games instead of the usual one during a gameweek. This can be helpful for fantasy football players because the players on that team have a chance to score more points. The talent levels of the team's opponents as well as the potential of injuries or roster changes must also be considered, though.

I have 2 players from the city in my squad and I'm thinking of adding a midfielder from Tottenham.

I'm actually looking to double/triple on Man City players but then I don't want to go for a defender and De Bruyne is rather to expensive imo, as there are several other cheaper options make getting very close points or even more while saving more than 4-5m, so I've got my eyes on an Arsenal player, there are just so many players on that 4 yellows card threshold and one away a suspension, that includes two Arsenal defenders, and Saka as well, so I might just wait a bit more, I'm however going to be likely taking some points hit, to get my team in better shape as it requires selling Cancelo, but I'd need to let go of another player in a different position to get what I'm longing for.

You never learn, the only valuable Manchester City player now is Aker, or Lewis and Halaand, Walker and Cancelo can't hold their position for 90 minutes anymore, and KDB is a waste of space. Totteham has a double game week as well, so I'm thinking Darwin to Kane right now. If Kulu is available for either of these games, I might as well not take more than a -4 hit since I have two free transfers.

How in the world did Kepa let that ball in last night? Why did he stop halfway going for the ball? It was a crazy game because it was the first time any team had Halaand and KDB under cover, and they were unable to link up, with no single pass coming through both players in the third quarter of the field. Chelsea early injuries, as well as Pep's super sub, altered the game.

Chelsea are playing so much better, I would have expected at least a goal from Man City given their starting line up, but Chelsea have been the team with most attempts so far. Now with Guardiola returning to what is popularly known to be his strongest starting xi, would you say I was right about him probably saving these players for these though fixtures ?
Nope, I am saying he does not trust them at the moment. Walker and Cancelo got subbed at the half time and Foden lasted 10 minutes more. That is it for me I am getting rid of both and probably taking Ake/De Bruyne for City double. They aren't anything special but they are playing a lot of minutes which is what I want from City assets. Especially in defense. If there isn't a double I am moving away from City.

Of course nothing I wrote above is regarding Haaland, he stays in my team for sure.

I'm very pissed with Mitrovic to be honest and I had to even check if Fulham are in the FA Cup since suspension are also meant to be carried over to that fixture.
You sure about that? I am remembering something like if you get red carded or get second yellow that gives you suspension in all FA competitions and you have to miss next game no matter if it is cup or league. But I belive that this type of suspension that happens after 5 yellow cards can only be served in the league where you got it. I am not 100% sure and don't feel like googling so that is why I am asking.

I guess this type of suspension doesn't get carried to all other FA competitions after all, because Fulham game vs Hull City should have been the one he was supposed to miss, but with all the assurance about him missing the next league game, I knew something must have been wrong.

on the other side, Pep included first line-up, with Foden and Cancelo against Chelsea
Yeah, my boy Foden finally in the first 11, expecting big things from him, probably gonna end up bad as usual Smiley

This time Potter pulled a page from Pep book and decided to start without Mount. The one player most fantasy content creators recommend just because he is the most secure player to start for Chelsea, other than Kepa. Now we just need Haaland/Havertz blanks and that Mitrović captain choice will look much better.

they are playing Hull on 7th
but pretty sure that I saw somewhere on Twitter that Mitrovic is not playing against Chelsea due to yellow card, maybe not from FPL account, and meme's where people are shooting themselves in the leg, since he is captain in their team

It's going to be the second week in a row where my bench player amassing significant points, and Perisic leading the line today with 9 already and another potential bonus, Cancelo will be better off not playing at all if Guardiola has an intention of giving him a limited playing time or perform woefully again.

From a flawless striker to a flawless blunder. He broke my heart and disappointed his teammates, and now he will miss the Chelsea game.

bear in mind that Ortodox Christmas is in 3 days, and Mitrovic will now at least have free time to spend at home due to yellow card Smiley

looking at scores, more/less all teams having similar points so far, Shaw was major success after WC, and United overall, three clean sheets
Arsenal didn't scored last night, but I don't mind, their picks are around the top midfielders point-wise, and not that expensive

My gameweek haven't been entirely bad too, If only I had left Nick Pope in starting line up, those 8 extra points would have come in handy, but that's past now, and I'll take any point I can get off Cancelo and I hope Haaland doesn't get a haul.

lol I'm also on this table; all I need is KDB to haul and Halaand to go blank for a perfect week. I've passed the 1000 point mark; it's been a perfect second chance for me; all I need to do now is get rid of you, and I'll be fine finishing fourth or fifth. I just need to work on my midfields and bench, and I'll be good to go.

A lot of things are hanging in the balance of how my points will be or performance of the GW, If Haaland should score more than Mitrovic did yesterday, then that's the first disadvantage for me but me still owning Haaland will only reduce how fatal the blow would be. Since, I never and still don't own De Bruyne so every single point he make is bad for me, However, I'm for all possible points from Cancelo.

At least Mitrović scored a beautiful goal early on and got us some points. Did not watch the second half but I was almost sure he will get a yellow. It was just a perfect FPL knee jerk thing to happen.

Still quite happy with GW so far, now i just need to hit big on Pep roulette  Grin

Believe there is much worse blunders in FPL than this one. At least we got 5 points.

I still remember a couple of seasons ago, perfect double game week for City. I am taking triple captain on Aguero and expecting at least 40 points probably closer to 60. First game starts Aguero gets injured in minute 15 (or close to that) and misses next few games. That is a real hit to the balls, this could still work out quite ok, if Haaland doesn't haul.

The fact that he went over to the referee despite knowing he had committed a silly foul, told the referee to give him some, and then received it, infuriates me. I'm foolish to believe that I can smell something fishy because many bets were made that he would be booked before GW20.

With our current form, I don't think we can handle Halaand; our best chance of winning would be if Pep took the humorous route and opted to rest several of their most important players, as he always does.
