I'm the stupidest person among 27 people joined in this fantasy premier league game. I mistakenly signed N. Forest player Jota Silva instead of Diogo Jota from Liverpool. As the shirts of these two teams are also similar, I didn't realize it until the matches started. I found out the harsh reality after Diogo Jota scored a goal.  Cry

Quansah's price drop is a pain in my ass right now; I didn't see it coming, and it's made worse by the fact that no Liverpool fan here understands what's going on in Slot's head or whether he'll start him the next game. I just want him to get back to 4.5 before I get rid of him permanently.. Any manger with Barco? He's going to Seville.

If he gets back to 4,5, means that he will be playing. Why would you want to sell him then?
Curious to see who will start the next game, but even if Konate starts I still think Quansah will return to the starting role soon.

Nkunku to Eze is going to be a great transfer if you wait until GW3 to do it.

He was unlucky to not get any goals in 90 minutes.

You cannot go Nkunku to Eze unless you have a spare 0,5 mil in the bank.

Now it doesn't matter if he drops anymore. That first price drop is a problem since it means you can't pick any 4.5M defender for him now. You can only go for 4.0M and there isn't anyone good in that bracket. Of course, you have more options if you have money in the bank or if you are willing to use 2 or more transfers, but that is way too costly to remove the defender which was minutes risk from the beginning. If anyone still has him, I say keep him. The time to sell was before the price drop for another 4.5 like Robinson.

Yeah, I understand. I still know he's among the best 4,5 defenders you can have this season unless Liverpool buys a first 11 CB in the next 10 days.
I don't plan to sell him, quite the opposite - I think he will get enough minutes and be a good choice for that price.

I also disagree about no options in the 4mil category. There are a few and if you pay attention to their schedule they can be good selections. I plan to give a game to Harwood-Bellis in front of both Konsa and Burn.

For instance, I am not happy with Nkunku but not because he blanked in GW1. I am unhappy because he played less than 60 minutes and Chelsea now bought Felix as well. His minutes will probably be much worse than I anticipated and if that continues he has to go, preferably before the price drop but I am definitely giving him another chance.

If he starts again, how long is he going to play? It is a gamble to keep him because if he does not play next GW, or does not have enough game time, his value will drop, making it a loss to whoever is keeping him. I have him, but I am still deciding whether to keep him or not. Many people are not willing to make that gamble.

If he starts, he'll probably play 90 min or close to it. CB isn't a position you rotate after 50 minutes unless there is a problem.
4% of people currently have Quansah, I'd say that the chance of another drop in price is slim at this point.

I am always surprised to see how many people are doing transfers after GW1. I mean we were all just making teams and nothing really surprising happened in GW1. I mean Arsenal and City kept a clean sheet, big surprise there, they are two best defenses in PL for years. Salah got points in an easy fixture, well that was also expected, if someone skipped on Salah or Haland it is because of price not because they are bad options. They aren't cheaper now. Trust in your initial analyses and let it stay for few GW unless something fundamentally changes.

Quansah will probably start again this weekend. Konate was introduced to deal with the aerial threat but usually a coach does not rotate a primary CB due to 1 bad half.
Hard to know what Slot's thinking though - but I wouldn't trade Quansah out after only 1 game. If he starts, a lot of people will take him back in and that's already 2 transfers wasted on a 4,5 mil player.

Having such a horrible start in what is supposedly a good season for me in the EPL, right there at the bottom. I so don’t want to lol like Manchester United from last season as, it’s still didn’t end well. Harkorede almost doubled my points for a single GW and it’s just the start of the season. 19th on the table, that’s so where I don’t want to be and even the Bottler 3.0 is well ahead of me!
Be shocked that I am ahead of you both; I intend to keep it that way, ON GOD! Smiley

Haaland possible brace in GW2, who is thinking the same?

I'm more frustrated that Havertz's price is probably rising soon, I wanted him in my team this season.

Now am feeling I should have gotten Haaland but, his way above budget and Manchester City’s game against inexperienced Ipswich is looking fertile of points.

I wasn't intending to make any transfer on the first week already. However as Quansah's value might drop, I had to sell him. I bought Antonee Robinson in his place who I saw in many people's squads. By the way I don't understand why this many people have sold Palmer. Is there anything new that I haven't heard about?

Why are people so obsessed with squad value so early into the season? Chasing price rises and falls is how you end up qualifying for the bottler's league.

Quansah is a class player and the moment injuries start ravaging our camp, like they always seem to do every season, everyone is going to try to get him back into their squads.

I would rather save my transfers to get people like Havertz and Palmer than to blow it on defenders right now.

Well, well, well, I didn't do TOO badly, even if I really should have stuck to my no-Haaland MD1 pick. I would have gone super cheap Wood and upgraded some at the back though, and not put Porro in (who got me a lucky haul out of the blue to rescue an otherwise pretty shitty selection). His injury (I didn't think it was bad but he was hobbling a good stretch) does seem to suggest I need to dig deep...

Nothing compared to the usual smarties of FPL of course, but Harko, sweet job, very nice. Isn't it great to be playing every pool, for every chance? =)

I can only hope my spurs player brings me back to life in this first round,
Thanks to Pedro Poro for the 9 points; there should have been more had Vardy not canceled the clean sheet.

Congratulations @Harkorede

Solanke could not get a debut goal, next opponent for Ange is Everton, and I will be sticking with Solanke for the now.

Tottenham literally had all the chances in the world but were extremely wasteful, I lost count of how many touches they had within Leicester City's 18 yard box, they just kept looking to get tapings with so many chances that came begging but it was always a case of one pass to many, Solanke actually look bright to be honest, but I don't know if that's because Leicester City couldn't really match up to them, I sure would be looking to get him at some point, I just need a little bit of more assurance from Tottenham, and their fixtures doesn't look great from between game week 3-6.

Agree, in the end of the game was incredible how much chances they have to shoot and nobody takes the shoot, seems like an Arsenal play where they play inside the box without shooting at all.

Aside of that Solanke did good job, but he need to score, and Werner..... my god when he enter the field he made all bad takes.

I didn't trust Arsenal with their opening fixtures
Unia Emery again for Arsenal in GW2. That coach still just knows how to uncouple Arsenal. Watkins is still most likely to score unless Arteta can fix it with the new defensive options we have.

Havertz is a great pick due to his versatility and overall involvement in the game, I will surely take him at some point.

I didn't trust Arsenal with their opening fixtures and I think I will take their players only after the first 7-8 rounds or so.
Hope that won't be too costly, but I feel there are better opportunities elsewhere at this point of the season.

As expected, GW1 winner title and 50$ free bet on rollbit account go to Harkorede. Congrats man 104 points to open up the season is spectacular. Salah captain and inclusion of Havertz were the moves that propelled you up the rank. Now you need to defend it against Haaland captain next week.

I figured Havertz would be a starter for Arsenal given an above average campaign in Euro, and Arteta seemed to like him better, So, since I couldn't commit to Haaland I needed bits and pieces that could potentially cover for the game week 2-5, and I think I have fairly enough hopefully they'll live up to the task. Being stuck on Haaland was the biggest hiccup I faced last season, at the beginning, I'm looking forward to going at least until after game week 6 without him, if my potential team damage-control will help mitigate the difference, if there is to be any at all.

He has really made a solid start to the season. I was never thinking Havertz in my squad however he entered the season quite nicely. I was absolutely waiting for more from Solanke on the first week. Even though he found goal opportunities, he didn't manage to make use of them. Still when we think his last season performance at Bournemouth, I think he has potential. By the way didn't Harkorede collect 91 points?
Probably he does. My favorite fantasy page which I use to see bonus points before they are officially added dropped the ball. Was never wrong in last couple of seasons so probably new way of calculating bonus points screwed with them.

No matter Harkorede is the winner by any calculaction and next few weeks I will monitor and wait for official app to update the leagues.

Georginio Rutter in Brighton!

Hopefully he'll be a midfielder as I don't have room for him in the attacking slots.

I think he'd be a great replacement for the injured Minteh.  Roll Eyes
