Now i dont know how unlucky i am but this is insane. Had palmer in the last round used wild card and got rid of him and he scores 4 goals… so on a scale from 1-10 im unlucky -10

The thing is that Palmer is a differential in our pool... despite the fact that 40% of managers on a global scale own it.  Roll Eyes
He sure would be for the other 60% that don’t own him but, not when I look at you. Raya featured today and wasn’t really bringing forth those points.
Did anyone managed to captain Palmer, I mean, his performance today was exceptional, how he was coming up with the goals at close intervals. Not a score line I would have expected from Chelsea and certainly, not from one man but he stars once again to show just what asset he is to managers and Chelsea. Cold Palmer does it again and E. Haaland gets nothing, Newcastle United just wouldn’t let him get nothing on the ball.

It's just crazyg... I'm 57 points ahead of the guy in 2nd place.

Your decision making this season has been so on point, comes through every GW. Let’s hope fatigue’ doesn’t set in somewhere along the line. I would want that you know,  Grin

And to think I sold this guy to get Diaz and Trent...

Well, before I jump to conclusions let's see what those two get. (My brentford defender which I also sold got a whooping 2 points.)

Wait!!! You got Palmer and sold him? I can't think of another reason why anyone would do that except to get Halaand. I will never trade Palmer for Trent and Diaz ever!!!

Halaand Captainers- a week to forget  Grin

I feel Saka was a more logical choice today - although the result couldn't be further from that. I'm just lucky you didn't captain Palmer today.
Salah doing his thing, that pass he missed in a 2v1 at the end of the game is something you don't see often from world-class players. He also missed an open goal so I'm lucky you didn't increase the difference even more.

I never thought you'd be the top dog in our pool. Tricked me nicely, but still a lot of season left to play catch.

So, who has Palmer? Never even considered him on the wild card so can't bitch I was so close to take him  Grin

He could have scored even more. Brighton playing super high defense and doing it extremely poorly.

Funny enough I threw a dice today and decided to go for Jackson instead of Palmer, couldn't do both as I'm planning to WC in  GW7 one assist from Jackson so far isn't bad. Sancho is another hidden Gen to think about right now.

Palmer is arguably the best left footer in the league and nobody come close I've seen enough.  Grin

Hhampuz has him, but he is neither his captain or the vice.

Smartvirus has him and luckily vice captained him.

Who is Darbit? He has Palmer as well, but just like HHampuz.

Palmer with four goals! Chelsea is on fire!
Who captained him?

Yay, I trade Gvardiol, he scores. Story of my life.
I got him,  Grin

The only selection that I missed was Raya, I was deceived by the fake news about him not arriving with the other players, and now I see him on, with Arsenal looking very much to keep a clean sheet.

^ I wanted Gvardiol but couldn't find enough budget, I like him, am aware he's not always around, but he does pop up with goals.

Oh and FPL performance now just about suits me. Captained Haaland and he got a massive 4 points. Don't know why I didn't just stick with Salah roulette. He's getting a hattrick from Wolves for sure.

Also, I sold my last player on my final free transfer, Pedro injury forced my hand. DCL is my choice, and Everton are already down a goal. Now FPL finally looks like the game I know I'm bad at. Hahaha.

...
but I am thinking Arsenal is probably hands down the team that will keep most clean sheets this season
...

Liverpool under Slot looks a lot more compact than it was the case under Klopp. I feel Liverpool's defence might challenge them, but then again - they are priced even higher if you don't go with Konate - who will surely be without attacking contributions.

I have been thinking of Alisson, I know we don't need premium keepers, but after Slot rotated last game, completely killed my notion. I saw also Alisson was the 4th most captained player in GW5, ouch.

Well of course I am hoping that Haaland gets his first blank of the season in the next few hours against a Newcastle side that will want to make this game end 0 - 1.

I will take Bernardo Silva 43' (Kovacic) just because it's so useless a goal it will make people tear off their hair  Grin

Difficult to play in front of Gundo ( not longer the same player ) and Kovasic, life must be really tough for Halaand, I just watched Gundo flip a 2-on - 1 situation to the GK, a decision KDB will never make. A simple pass was all Halaand needed to score.

I held Gvardiol for the most part of last season, I have no valid reason why he isn't in my team just yet..

Obviously, I would like all Liverpool assets to return against Wolves this week. Even the ones I don't have.

You have a nice backup - Fabianski against Brentford is a good shot, I wouldn't care much about bringing in a new GK, you should focus on bringing in someone for injured Pedro before another price fall. Jackson and Kai Havertz are good options with good fixtures ahead.
Against Brentford, maybe but his not being having playing time with Areola not giving him any chance on the pitch. Went over his stats and wish I had bought Sanchez but, I’ve got to go without hopes on a goalkeeper this GW but, was able to come up with some transfers however. Jackson was surely a person of interest but, the budget wasn’t accommodating but, I look forward to having him on my team sometime this season. His showing some promises and have got a team that could feed him some passes. Chelsea haven’t been any bad this season and that could mean well for some Chelsea assets.

Stupid app is down for 20 minutes.

Wanted to switch a few pieces and to go with Lewis instead of Leif Davies but yeah - the app didn't allow it.
My WC was needed but I feel there are some last-minute changes that would have helped me more down the road.

This whole 2-month period has been hectic, during the whole week I had like 20 min to tinker with my squad. Still - I like how my team looks for the foreseeable future.

The window has been shut!

I would have been fine with going with Haaland if this wasn't a major wildcard window providing a lot of captaincy options for other managers, Salah have helped me well in the first few opening fixtures, and I've decided to repay that favor, with many dropping Salah already, this could be a really good captaincy differential, if he's able to get a decent return.

If I had Salah against Wolves, I would not consider captaining Halaand this week. The Wolves are undoubtedly one of the worse defences this season, but as tradition for non-Salah holders demands, I will be hoping he blanks.

Rico starts!! Missed out on that one last minute, left him on the bench. Used 2FT, Roll 1FT

My biggest worry for this week remains captaincy, Saka seem to have a very strong case (if I'm bringing him in perhaps for Salah), while Newcastle despite being defensively horrendous have never been an easy fixture for Man City, decision decision... I'm sure I might end up with the wrong choice at the end of the day  Angry

When in doubt, leave the captaincy on Halaand; this way, you reduce any potential harm by a larger percentage.  Grin

I considered Jackson and Halaand, and I'm still thinking about it, but if I don't come up with anything before the deadline, I'll surely leave it to Halaand. Kai Havertz is another option I'm exploring. I never thought about Saka- I've never been comfortable around Saka captaincy hype.
