Some interesting options are appearing - a few players I've got my eyes on that not many people have. Tough schedules incoming for most of the top teams, let's see how we manage this interesting period.

I'm sitting on 4 free transfers, a mini revamp of my team is needed and I am just waiting for the international break to finish not to risk any injuries.

I'm very close to losing whatever small joy I have left for football. Hope FIFA get sued and lose, hope UEFA too, all these internationals, they're ruining the momentum of club football more and more I feel.

Yup, I ain't won over by Nations League.

Only one laughing is goodpunt for his faith in Everton -- and here I am stuck with DCL haha.
So true first Mcneill against Crystal and now Pickford Cheesy
But DCL looks like a good choice for the upcoming gameweeks maybe I should add him too and your decision to choose Saka for (C) was fantastic.

I gave up on the keeper lotto even last season, it's pure luck and arbitrary likelihood when other teams decide to give a keeper free shots to save. I'm not unhappy with Flekken, and don't expect points from keepers anyway.

And yeah, I like DCL anyway, it does help that Everton should be doing their usual "oh shit we're going down, now let's win enough points to stay up" mode at some point during the season.

What a boring week is gonna be this one without any fun from the pools or fantasy. #nomoreinternationalbreak
I was thinking the same as well, I guess we will just have to enjoy the International games and hope our picks don't get injured.

Havertz pulled out of International duty for Germany, and the news is that it is because he is nursing a knee injury,  but I am thinking that it is Arteta's way of trying to help him get some rest for the tougher fixtures we have after the international break.

Gordon, the Newcastle kicker, is someone Pickford knows a great deal about, which helped him make that save. Had it been Isak, I doubt he would have saved. I am very sure that you did not expect to win by points gathered from Pickford in this fixture. I guess this is how luck works: you get points from players that you least expect.
On the other side many (like me) expected at least one clean sheet from Arsenal against the likes of Leicester and Southampton but well... very disappointing.

Never thought that Pickford and the back line of Everton would be able to keep a clean sheet without Branthwaite so a nice surprise here.

When it comes to penalties and most of these set piece, it’s only normal for the goalkeepers to have some knowledge of the set piece takers but, there isn’t any guarantee that players do find the net always. Isak is good for sure but, I could say the same for Pickford, his no stranger to making penalty saves. Everton might make him look bad given their performance and his very much part of the team but, when you’re left exposed often by your defense, you’re just bound to conceive. Good points from him once more, didn’t get nothing of it though.

Thanks Brighton for ruining my parade with Spurs. I keep wanting to believe Ange's got things right. Then Brighton and Milner smack my Porro down to 1 point. Hope we get our "revenge". I should be happy this week with 50+ points. But relying on Saka captaincy luck for that just doesn't feel sustainable. Can't keep playing this roulette.

We are all playing roulette eventually, having to rely on Haaland so much and he shots us in the foot for 2 consecutive game weeks. Saka even did good in the just concluded GW if we were to match that.

Konsa getting injured in the game also ruined my week slightly, though. I thought he should bank 6 or 7 points easily on this shit United side. Guess this is why we bank free transfers though. [...]
I'm in the same boat.. First clean sheet for Aston Villa as Konsa goes off on 12 minutes.  Grin

Just as long as he's not injured for next GW. I really wanted to keep my transfers safe =)

Big hopes again that selections do not get injured from representing their countries in the international break.

Time to pronounce GW 7 winner - goodpunt - he currently has 76 points which is 23 more than second place ans should be more than enough to keep first place even if bonus points get recalculated. But just in case it will become official tomorrow. Pickford won this one for you.
Thanks for the notification Trofo.

I'm worried cause we're already approaching the first half of the season and it's always nearly impossible to be break a 50 points gap. I'm 34 points from Top 8 already,
Are you sure you are still going to be able to catch up? this one seems to be drifting away already.

Gabriel, Semenyo and Halaand got me the least points this week...
City's next opponent is Wolves, Haaland still looks like a good captain pick considering Wolves are having a bad start to this Premier league campaign. Liverpool play Chelsea next too, I am thinking that I cannot trust Liverpool assets to keep a clean sheet knowing how good Chelsea's attacking press is.
Gabriel for me will carry that attacking threat all through the season. For Semenyo, next game is against Arsenal, low points expected from him.

One assist and yellow card for Palmer is something I can live with. Good call to skip for the time being while fixtures are though.

Benching points is something that gets all of us. This week I benched Wood for Rogers. Just something that happens and sometimes those benched points even come handy with auto sub.

Gabriel, Semenyo and Halaand got me the least points this week, not too bad as I expected, little green arrow and no injuries. (Net positive)

The points sort of balance out over a period of 5 GWs so you shouldn't worry much about that.

Back to back blank for Halaand. Lol he's close to ruining all the points he gave me earlier on. I know he's not the same person without KDB and yet I keep ignoring all facts.

Sold Saka - 2 assists 1 goal

Sold Jackson - Hattrick incoming....Huh

Story of my life ......

Oh man, Chris Wood scoring. I wasn't expecting it, only put him in my squad to replace the injured Pedro, I know he's been returning goals before but it's typical for a promoted team to get such a start, so him actually turning up today is really pleasing for me.

Konsa getting injured in the game also ruined my week slightly, though. I thought he should bank 6 or 7 points easily on this shit United side. Guess this is why we bank free transfers though.

Who bought Cole Palmer, own up. Me sticking with me team for now. Only switching for injuries and suspensions for a while. I think, anyway. I think too little for FPL, apparently.

Planned to, instead of Salah. Didn't, will bite me in the ass.
This moving places shit is killing me, can't wait to finally sit down in peace and do this properly. I'm far behind but I will catch up when I finally commit to it.

Arsenal conceding probably hurt a lot of people, Saka finally getting big points. Let's see what Solanke does.

I only didn't because of a budget problem, but when I actually had enough cash in the bank, I opted for Saka instead (my go-to midfield who's not from Liverpool). He didn't pay me back immediately but yesterday's captaincy was very well rewarded.

You're not nearly as far behind as it appears. I felt far ahead after GW3 and then it only took as many GWs to bring me back down to earth where I belong heh heh.

Do you know why is Haaland doing like shit?

Yes, is because i put him in my team, since i put him he doesnt do anything anymore.

I can have a much better round, but it seems like Slot wants to save Luis Diaz and he only play 10 minutes , Robertson the same. Konza got subbed at the 12 minutes. Walker only 28 minute played..... cant play in this way coaches.

My only significant bench points for this week would be Michael Keane, who had six, 4 more than hugely owned Gabriel, but who could have saw that coming ?

Luckily I still have Wood to make up for some of my blanks, I don’t think I’ll be rid of him anytime soon, I’ve got a more pressing issue with other mid and premium like TAA, Salah, Eze, and Jackson ahead of some tough fixtures coming

Sold Jackson - Hattrick incoming....Huh
Nottingham Forest defense held in the first half; Jackson was completely absent in the first half, the Chelsea player with the most impact in the game still remains Cole Palmer, who came close to scoring.

I have been disappointed with Aston Villa. Rogers got a chance to score, a 1v1 against Evans, he blew his shot wide. I kept him on the bench last week and he scored. This week I decided to play him and he is shooting blanks Huh
