It's very funny how many twists have happened just in the first half alone, from Man City being really close to have 2-3 goal lead, to Rodri getting injured and the momentum instantly shifted in Arsenal favor, now it's back to Man City's with Arsenal down to 10 men and would play the final 45 minutes as such.

I'm sure a couple of drama would still unfold here.

I've seen many games where the game was fiery but then after one of the teams was sent off they closed down and there were no more goals scored, I hope this is exactly the kind of game  Grin
I think Simeone/Mourinho would have easily hold the score in such a situation. Let's see what tactics Arteta chooses, he was lucky that it happened right before the break and he can completely rebuild the game in normal mode, and not try to shout his ideas from the edge of the field.

P.S. My easiest bet on Haaland paid off  Cool

Btw, I already sold J'Pedro and Eze.

I got an Arsenal attack and another player who will be playing for 2 weeks in a row in the main squad of my team, despite the fact that I only own 1% (rotation with Vardy in GW6, and with ESR GW7).

Rogers finally paying some dividends too, I guess it was just a matter of time with him.
When is he going to score? I like him and how effective a player he is, but I think he is not someone who scores a lot; he will rather create an assist than score.
He doesn't look like a natural scorer to me. He always looks a bit rushed with the final touch. He gets into good chances and then snatches at them which results with poor shots.

But he is very cheap, plays all the minutes for good team and has good fixtures. Though to remove him from my squad even on WC. Goals will come, just don't expect same level of finishing like from the best in the business.

I believe his goals will come in due time, he might not be the one to score 2-3 goals every fortnight but I do believe he’ll get a decent number by the end of this season and going by his price, he’s a must have.

Verbruggen just conceded a penalty; it cannot be the only goal he will concede. Wood is really looking good for this game with how Forest have started the game. I predict Wood will find the goal more the one goal he has already from the penalty spot.

It was a really naive and clumsy challenge from Baleba, while the decision seem to have been quite a soft one and VAR wouldn’t overturn due it being a rather debatable one for either decision.

Forest are very fast on the break and looking threatening with their counter attack, asides that they game seem really even so far.

Firstly, congratulations on your win.
Secondly, I decided to make a return bet. It's not a free bet, but the money is won from a free bet, so I don't take it seriously.
On the one hand I expect the game to end 0-0 (the teams are well prepared for this in the European Cups haha), but I think Haaland's drought in big games should end at some point.

Sanchez with 9 points again, that's 24 in 2 GW's if I counted correctly.

Finally something from Morgan Rogers, but not the best of weeks for me yet again. Jota benched, nothing from Garnacho and a last second goal to deny Harwood-Bellis a clean sheet.

Fine margins in Fantasy, Trent with a CS and could have easily been an own goal. Nothing going my way so far in my duel with icopress, still early though. Did not expect him to be at the top to be honest.

Another source of pain in FPL is when you have to starting goalkeepers but keeps getting it wrong and who you doesn't outscore the other even when they have the best fixture of paper, Verbruggen scored 5 points last game week, that's 10 points less than Sanchez, now it's going to be the same story all over again, Verbruggen wouldn't be in action until tomorrow but Sanchez already with 8 points and 2 extra bonus points coming too. Smh.
I doubt Verbruggen will be able to keep a clean sheet as Sanchez did; Nottingham Forest tend to score even in games that they don't win.

Sanchez + Your Nicholas Jackson points would have put you in top for the GW already.

Not sure anyone captained Jackson; that would have been some luck!

Damn right, I don't even think Verbruggen will be able to match that how of points even if Brighton were to keep a clean sheet today, but the only positivity I can draw from my defensive end is that both Arnold and Robertson gave some returns, and still better for my Liverpool triple up compared to having Jota in the mix.

Rogers finally paying some dividends too, I guess it was just a matter of time with him.

Ahhh i just have Luis Diaz as a captain until this round, but this round with the addition of the android Haaland, i give him the captain band.

Very good round overall for me.

Tomorrow the big match of the round, Manchester City against Arsenal, lets see if Manchester city starts to drop some point.

Good luck to everyone tomorrow!! I decided for myself that Salah will be the captain   Smiley

Why are the odds so low?  Cry
Is this a conscious choice? The problem is that the "body" of the bet is burned (since it is a free bet) at a big loss. It's hard for me to check the message history now, but I calculated that for a free bet the most favorable odds are in the range of 6.0 - 10.0.
6 points for Salah is not a very good round. But it will be interesting to see if Haaland can break the curse.

Wild Card is on everyone's lips next couple of rounds, yeah?
Some people already used that option, but next week, there will be more people wildcarding. I almost used mine this week, but I just made one change and  waiting to see how it goes for me this GW.

Jasckson and Sanchez, picking up where they left off at the end of last season...

Well technically it was Petrovic in goal last year but you get the idea.

I knew I forgot something! Out now and then heard my kid told me Chelsea was ahead and then dawned on me I had completely forgotten to check my squad out.

Thankfully should not be too bad. Captaincy left on Salah. And even if Isak and Pedro marked injured don't play, the bench looks fine.

Hope I get lucky. Wild Card is on everyone's lips next couple of rounds, yeah?

I'm strongly contemplating to bring in Watkins/Solanke for Pedro and Eze for a cheaper midfield as Eze hasn't been firing on all cylinders either, but I'll be in need of those two free transfers of mine two rotate a bit towards Arsenal for next game week moving forward, so banking is also an option, I just need to be a bit sure If Pedro isn't going to be missing more than just week at the very most.
We all thought Eze was on penalties at least but after Mateta taking and dispatching last one, I don't think that will change in near future. He isn't an immediate sell since he plays 90 minutes and always have some chances but he will probably leave my team on wildcard.

Yep, Haaland is surely playing the whole 90. To captain him or not - the dilemma of every round.

I fucked it up the last time, but no way I'm captaining him against Arsenal. Inter showed he can be kept quiet and he tends to do badly in big games. A few players will surely outscore him this round, it just remains to pick the one that will.

Salah to get another chance? He was disastrous against NFO but did well against Milan. Watkins as a safer pick?

Watkins hasn't been playing 90 minutes so he'd have been a no for me, Haaland or tough fixture ? then Salah all the way, my captaincy is a two way traffic for the foreseeable future.

Mostly in this season, my captain choice has been between Haaland and Salah. Against Arsenal, I also don't imagine Haaland scoring as freely as he has been this season, so I would rather have one of the Liverpool choices as captain in this round because I consider that they will do very well against Bournemouth. Since I have Salah, he will be my captain.

I am not expecting a very entertaining game between us and Manchester City; I predict a very defensive game where both teams are playing caution, understanding the risk carried by the other team.
