Last over is great to see Sydney Thunder finally took title of the champion of Big Bash after a hard competition which was actually not that hard at all.The final score on the score board was little for final match.If there were few more runs the picture could be different.Thunder won by 3 wickets great team play.
Yes Melbourne Stars had failed to put a competitive score for the finale. Shane Watson was great with balls to restrict the Stars, though he failed with his batting. His two wickets were crucial for their victory despite Kevin Piertersen's batting heroics.

There is twist Melbourne Stars can make comeback into this match if get succeed to deliver magic spell there to pick 2 more wickets into this over but it looking it has good chance to make it more interesting.
Usman Khawaja did wonderful job for Sydney Thunder scored 70 runs in 40 balls this is brilliant performance and put Sydney Thunder into strong position, now it is very close to the target 39 runs required into 33 balls.
Kallis just has gone but his presence was helpful to Khawaja.He just played because of the importance of the match otherwise he was surely taking rest as he is not completely fit.Anyway well done for his contribution in this chase.
The current average is constant as long as Khawaja is on the pitch you can expect anything.Stars need this important wicket if they want to come back in the game.They have still chance if these opening partnership is broken somehow.Otherwise the result is familiar what comes out of the match.
When I saw the finished point of Stars at 176,first impression was normally that Thunder again is going to win easily.If there were added other 20 runs in the required target then things could be little different.

Melbourne Stars now moving clam down to big total and it looking it will try hard to get total around 180+ runs to give tough time to Sydney Thunder because low runs around 150 will be easily chase by it, Sydney Thunder have much better battling line.
Actually this match is really important for both teams and no team can afford this game at this stage, from my point of view this match will get very close result and no team will win this match by one sided win.
