Anonymity and decentralization do have a disadvantage for cryptocurrency if they are related to the legality of the government. But on the other hand, there are also many other benefits offered if you can reduce the risk factors that exist. The decision is in each of us with all the risks.

There's always a lot of hype over any event. I think nobody's a seer and relies on his own experience, so everyone can be mistaken. I advise not to listen to others and rely on your own feelings!
That's Bill Gates opinion but if I should say there are illegal activities both in fiat and crypto so we can't just put illegal to crypto world

There is no doubt that Bill Gates is one of the richest men in the world. But I don't think that he is an expert in investing, he is inventor. So his view isn't objective

There were a lot of projects that made it to the soft cap just because of anonimity and now all of them require investors to perform KYC. It is sad.
There is sense in what he is saying. We've buried our fabric so deep in decentralisation, such that some scam ICOs take advantage and ridicule investors. Also, I think regulations should come into play if we want adoption mainstream to be a reality. Large scale investors and big businesses are skeptical because the authorities are against crypto. Decentralisation is superb, yes, but we need regulations in my own opinion. For instance, anyone can create an ERC20 token, promote it and scam multitude while enriching himself.

According to me he is right, there are much bad sides of crypto currencies, they can use them for drug or terrorism of course, but with some changes this can be prevent and for example most of the exchanges want kyc for prevent these things.He answers about cryptocurrency stating

In world there are many different types of businesses. A man cannot do them all, besides no chance you will be successful in them all. Nowadays the world is full of tricky and untrue news and advertisement. Absorb the info you her, but make your own decisions. Bill Gates is not the only one who says that the cryptocurrency is not good, but the cryptocurrency still exists, it still gives us the opportunity to make money, I think this is enough!

I agree. People are here to make opinions, and Bill Gates is not an exception. It is just his opinion, it doesn't mean it is truth. His opinion didn't affect me as a participant of the cryptomarket.
