Hi everybody Wink

Every currency needs a wallet.
But what are the best ones for crypto?

We lined up 3 best cryptocurrency wallets in our blog post.

Do you agree? Or do you have some others/better to share?

Edit: Sorry for the misunderstanding between wallets/exchanges. We will update our blog post soon.
my favorite mobile wallet is Blockchain.info.  I like to use this wallet on mobile devices since its very user friendly.
for my desktop I like to use Electrum because I like to store my coins on my desktop and not a exchange.

Electrum for day to day transactions and Trust wallet has done a great job during last years. As a hot wallet I use both mentioned wallets, for storing the coins I prefer to withdraw holdings back to hardware wallet.

Electrum is a good wallet, check it out. It’s a lightweight desktop wallet which doesn’t use much storage space.
It’s safe & secure as long as you download from the official source of electrum.org

You guys mentioned that a lot of our recommended ones are exchanges also, valid point! Sorry for any confusion, we are going to update our blog post soon. Smiley

Bitcoin core wallet was mentioned - what makes that your favourite? I personally like CoPay because it has multi-signatures i.e it can similarly work as a joint bank account, it has no fees and easy to use interface. Any thoughts?

Right now, I spend most of my time using my mobile device and thus, I migrated some of my funds there and currently using Samourai Wallet. Heard of them? I can say that they're one of the best mobile wallets out there and they prioritize anonymity and privacy of its users. They also integrated a mixing feature in their wallet though I haven't still tried it. There's so many good things to say about Samourai but it is much better if you check the link below for a more detailed explanation.  Wink

It seems great. Thanks for sharing. Any other thoughts, guys?

All of the 3 you mentioned aren't even wallets and users do not have access to their private keys.

Coinbase is trustworthy AF, I can’t speak from any personal experience about the other two though.
I highly recommend Bitcoin Core desktop wallet, Trezor & Nano Ledger.

Copay is excellent and you can use it to store BTC, ETH, XRP and even tokens!
It's simple and easy to use.

Bitcoin Core (QT) was the original & first bitcoin wallet, Satoshi designed it. As long as your computer/laptop is malware free it’s the most secure & most high tech wallet. They have the best & most trusted developers in the entire crypto scene, it’s an amazing platform.

You control your own private keys, you can back up your wallet.dat & C&P onto a USB key or something so even if you lose your device you can restore your wallet on another device. You can password encrypt the wallet so nobody other than you can spend your bitcoins.

Bitcoin Core desktop wallet is the best imo but of the 3 you recommended I do like the Coinbase one but I prefer not to leave my main stash on what is essentially an exchange.
