The next step is to get listed on big exchanges, like bittrex.

After listed on these exchanges the coin booms to a new level.

3 BTC to get listed on Bittrex.

So I have tried 3 different windows VPS provider and I just can't seem to get masternode to work, while it works just fine on home windows PC using same config, except for IP and masternode key.

I port scanned the VPS IPs and I'm showing ports 8329 open. I install another coin's MN on same VPS and it works. I keep getting this error

Not capable masternode: Could not connect to x.x.x.x:8329

Below is my config

rpcuser=YOUROWNUSERNAME
rpcpassword=REALLYSTRONGASSWORD
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
rpcport=8330
server=1
listen=1
daemon=1
staking=1
logtimestamps=1
mnconflock=0
masternode=1
masternodeaddr=x.x.x.x:8329
masternodeprivkey=xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

You need to use masternode.conf on your VPS and launch from masternodes tab , also make sure to open in/out ports for VIVO

Thanks a bunch, that did the trick!!

Can a wallet run masternode, AND stake the rewards that it gets paid? And if yes, how do I set it up? Thanks!

No, you need a different wallet for staking, just send your stake rewards to that wallet.
How do I enable staking on the wallet? Do I just send coins to that wallet and wait some time or do I need to do something else?
Encrypt your wallet before you send coins to it.

When you have coins in your wallet, all you need to do is to unlock your wallet for staking only.
Is wallet encryption required for staking or is it a mere safety precaution and unencrypted wallet will be staking as well? I have the wallet on my local PC and do not see much need to encrypt it.

You dont have to encrypt it, add staking=1 to your bitcloud.conf

for all intents and purposes, the nodes running in vps' don't have wallets.  the wallet is the one on your desktop (for example.)

below is what your masternode.conf (in your desktop wallet) could look like:

# Masternode config file
# Format: alias IP:port masternodeprivkey collateral_output_txid collateral_output_index
# Example: mn1 127.0.0.2:51474 93HaYBVUCYjEMeeH1Y4sBGLALQZE1Yc1K64xiqgX37tGBDQL8Xg 2bcd3c84c84f87eaa86e4e56834c92927a07f9e18718810b92e0d0324456a67c 0

mn1 68.69.46.63:51474 93HaYBVUCYjEMeeH1Y4sBGLALQZE1Yc1K64xiqgX37tGBDQL8Xg 2bcd3c84c84f87eaa86e4e56834c92927a07f9e18718810b92e0d0324456a67c 0
mn2 68.69.46.64:51474 09sadr0934593450kldljlsdf99df99asdf9sdf993kkadidkuj9393939 393909w09jlskdj3939szd9fdf0as9f0sdf9s0s98dfs9f09as8f088saf87f8sdf78df7 0

if the nodes running on vps are working correctly, your desktop wallet doesn't even have to be running.  transferring coins out of your desktop wallet will not interrupt your masternode (as long as you don't touch the collateral)

1. Let's say I want to setup second MN. I will have a VPS2 for MN wallet. Can I use the same controlling wallet on PC to control both VPS1 and VPS2 wallets. If yes, please explain the exact procedure.
2. How do I transfer out the rewarded coins from the MN controlling wallet to another wallet making sure I will not interrupt or destroy the MN?

Dear friend!
I had some coin in old chain? Now i sent this coin to new wallet to swap my coin?
if you have coins on the old chain, all you have to do is to download the new BTDX wallet. After this you copy your wallet.dat from the old BTD APPDATA and paste it into the new BTDX APPDATA

Hello all. I set up my masternode yesterday on a vps with a wallet on my local machine holding the coins. Everytime i restart my system, my masternode active since time is reset to 0. Can someone confirm if this is regular? My masternode is in enabled status and i havent received any coins until now. its been 15 hours since i set up the masternode

The master node needs to stay up and running 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Since the master node get in line to receive rewards every time you restart your computer your master node moves to the back of the line waiting for it's reward. That is why most are on VPS or just do not restart your computer unless it is needed.

The problem is I have set it up in a vps. how do i make sure my cold wallet is linked to the vps wallet?
To me, the whole idea of having two wallets, one controlling wallet on your local PC to control you MN wallet on VPS is extremely confusing. Why can't we just setup one wallet on VPS and collect coins to it directly, as it is done with other MN coins, or can we?

As I understand, this setup is useful when you have several MNs setup on various VPSs. This way you can manage them from you local PC wallet and collect payments from all MNs to one place. Great idea, but that would be nice and secure if it would not require to keep you local PC wallet up 24/7. MNs on VPSs are 24/7, then why bother monitoring your local PC wallet?  Open it up only when you want to see how many rewards were collected. Currently it seems that we need to have BOTH wallets up 24/7 in order to properly receive reward, or again, need we?

You can do it on one PC/VPS.

Two more question ))
