Hello.

I am in the middle of opening Pandora's Bitcoin Junction.

The link to the current thread is http://forum.bitcoin.org/index.php?topic=31281.0

I did not see this thread at first. Is it also possible to have the thread moved from newbie to another forum in here?

Thank you.

Hey,

I'm a freelance programmer and didn't see this topic so I posted in the other topic as well.
I just made this already for bitcoin: http://www.lavix.nl/casino/index.php and I'm planning on other casino games as well.
I'm not sure if freelance also should be posted here, so I did it anyway  Cheesy

Hi. I'd like to start a business selling digital copies of video games for bitcoins. I don't have a site but I plan on getting one soon.

I plan on negotiating prices in Bitcoin with buyers for legitimate, permanent copies of Steam games.

I'm store owner thats looking to learn more about Bitcoin. I have a small online head shop and I've recently had lots of problems with conventional payment methods (paypal). I hope I'm looking in the right place for an alternative.
If anybody has had any experience with selling retail items for Bitcoin hit me up and give me some advice.
I've heard about recent changes with Dwolla. TradHill and another isn't accepting dwolla anymore. Is there another compnay like dwolla that they are using?
I'm already accepting dwolla on my site but I like the idea of accepting Bitcoin as well.

I also have questions, which I can probably answer on my own with independent study, but which might intrigue someone here and start a discussion or a business and possibly create some jobs.  Here they are:

1. Is it possible to enable someone to take bitcoin from your wallet, but also enable them to relinquish that ability in a way that is apparent to you?  For my "Reading Fee" spec, the ability would be for a specific amount, but the question is also interesting for "a limited amount" and also "all of it".

2. Is it feasible to create transactions that can be reversed by the spender for a specific amount of time?  Wouldn't this serve as a built-in escrow feature?
Two choices:
1) Give the private key for an address that has the coins.
2) Use the scripting system to do what you want to accomplish.

I am developing a "Reading Fee" spec to define an email header that allows the receiver to have money transferred from the sender to the receiver.  BTC is an ideal currency, assuming it maintains its usefulness as a medium of exchange, because it requires no clearinghouse.

I can't see the value in point 2. Buyer pays for goods and receives them then reverses the payment, where is the sellers security?

No idea about q1 I think you may be in the wrong thread.

Greetings!

I am a well-connected fully-trusted freelance technology and investment consultant.
I am an Entrepreneur with a "Co-op" Triple-Bottom Line philosophy and a Utopian Philanthropist vision.

I am looking for a local (Tampa Bay, FL, US) Miner/Dev to Partner with in a well funded Mining Operation.
If I, (We), can prove this concept to my Investors, then We can rapidly scale to 10 or 20+ rigs.

Lets not let this opportunity go unrealized by trying to do it all alone!

I am the creator and owner of www.bitcoin4euro.net. I would like to tell the people about my service on this forum.

This site gives people the possibility to buy bitcoins anonymously (via postal mail) for euros and vice versa.
You can buy bitcoins for euros via postal mail. You can also sell bitcoins for cash via postal mail; virtual visa and, ukash voucher.

I was already before on this forum with another nickname.

I would like to start a small bitcoin business selling software and other digital downloads. Though I'm not sure how 'pirates' are viewed on this forum...

You can call people like me immoral, but corporations are the real thieves. I'm just a virtual robin hood.

{I'm an online entrepreneur in the real world, too. I write, design websites, sell things, etc etc. My dream is to take my business underground into BTC}
