I think the government policy in each country will be different about the use of bitcoin itself, so for now it is still not possible to use bitcoin in daily life. Indeed, many merchants have accepted bitcoin and other cryptos, but I feel there are limits to their use and come back to a policy that has been implemented. I personally have used bitcoin and other crypto without having to convert it to fiat in the past, but with the new policy it is no longer possible to do in the present and I just hope for a better change in the use of crypto in the future.

I think the same way too although there are merchants and services who accepts btc as an option to pay them but there are actually limitations like 50% cash and 50%btc because some of them are just new in cryptocurrency environment and still have a doubt and this is based on my experience. Right now I just realized its a waste of opportunity to use btc to pay for something when I can always use fiat to pay for may needs.

Who here uses Bitcoin daily or lives on the financial crypto market?

I personally use Bitcoin wherever I possibly can, and accept it directly without converting it to fiat immediately. I have been using Bitcoin daily for years. (Ever since Bitpay started improving its Bitcoin debitcard product)

Using crypto daily is definitely something that I strive to do and companies like Tap.Global make it super easy. Crypto cards are a great way to integrate cryptocurrency and more specifically Bitcoin into your daily life. Cards like Taps crypto prepaid Mastercard cards make it so simple that anyone can do it.

In my country using a certain cryptocurrency or bitcoin wallet I guess you could use it in a way to pay if you are going to buy something online or something that you need, but not all the time since in a simple store bitcoin was not yet accepted as a payment so I think Living on bitcoin was not yet completely possible today. I need to convert my bitcoin first in order to use it as money in my country.

Actually I am using bitcoin as my primary investment. Every time that I do have an extra money, I invest it on bitcoin since I know that sooner or later it will become much more higher than I am expecting. I just need to know when is the proper time to sell it. I need to sell it higher than I have bought it so that I will gain profit.
I am glad that you are using your money into a good way.  Me too I am keeping a lot of btc here because I know someday its value will raise and in that point my investement will also raise into 2x or 3x depending on how high does the value of btc rises.

That's awesome to hear that we are really doing everything for us to earn passive income, we should really maximize the fund that we have right now, let's not wait for the time that we will regret things that we have taken for granted the things that we should have maximize. I am also investing and saving Bitcoin as much as I could.

I don't think people want to use USD. We have to. If the number of businesses accepting USD and Bitcoin is equal, which do you think will be used more? I can't give that a definite answer, but people have to try this freedom.

For the sake of convenience, I think we all know what people will choose the most.  Wink
Even though people would get used to USD or any such local currency that they use in their country, I fairly think that they're gonna Bitcoin in the end setting aside the unstable price it contains.

Many people today are trying to use the bitcoin or cryptocurrency because they know it has a lot of advantages and advantages over using the traditional money. Normally people make money online using the cryptocurrency. One of the good things you can do in crypto is to invest your money, while the coin's price will also increase your money. The other way to earn is to use cryptos to play online poker, which tests your gaming knowledge and skills to make money. By doing so, it helps a lot to have a source of income and to live your daily life like paying for bills and buying your needs and you can buy your needs if you have extra money. If you have money, I highly recommend it.

It's kind of sad realising that bitcoin is becoming famous as an investment type rather than a currency, but that's what's most likely to happen because of its size, and I think satoshi nakamoto expected that's why he turned bitcoin into a smaller quantity. I'm not going to be hypocritical, I'm using bitcoin as an investment as a matter of fact that I've been holding for a year now expecting that bitcoin might run to heaven, but it's really sad. Bitcoin is supposed to be a form of currency to be used globally, but when talking about bitcoin, why do we focus on smaller images?

So you dont actually use it to transfer value for assets, only as a speculative investment?

And do you think that will happen?

Bitcoin is known for its volatility and if a business will be accepting it as a payment, just imagine how these businessmen will be losing a lot of profit in a day. Another thing is that most of them do not want to accept or even do anything about Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies.

i think i am way too far from this lifestyle mate because the availability of cryptocurrency to use in my country is limited ,meaning i can only pay bills but first need some conversions ,and also limited areas where i can buy goods and foods using my bitcoin so for me?this is a advantage defend on where you are located and hows your government stands towards cryptocurrency.

if both will have equal value?then why need to choose when the advantage of having transaction online is there?the safeties of your virtual money than physical is also indeed?of course i will use Bitcoin forever if that's the case.

I wish i could use my bitcoin in my daily expenses but unfortunately the marketplaces that operate in my country are not friendly to cryptocurrencies and so none accept it at the moment. I am hoping once the adoption of cryptocurrencies and bitcoin keep increasing they will get to understand things and modify their payment systems to accepting bitcoin.
While I am suffering the same problem as you we can at least raise the awareness of bitcoin by asking all the businesses in which we make a purchase if they have any plans to accept bitcoin in the future, and while the answer to that question is always another question like, what it is bitcoin? It is still necessary to ask the question since it is possible that some of those business owners decide to support the cryptocurrency just as we do on our own.

The emergence of Bitcoin as one of the hottest new investment assets has surprised many who once believed the blockchain-driven cryptocurrency would never have real-world value. It has also generated immense amounts of interest from those who had either never heard of Bitcoin before or who knew relatively little about it. As a result, there are now incredible opportunities for making extra money  in the cryptocurrency niche.thanks

I believe people will still choose USD. because the USD has a stable value and doesn't fluctuate too much like Bitcoin. And I am sure businesses will not risk to accept payments with Bitcoin because they are at a very high risk of loss, the price of Bitcoin is always fluctuating every day. In the future I believe that cryptocurrency will be used as a payment method, but I do not appreciate that bitcoin will be chosen. The best is a stablecoin or an altcoin with the least amount of volatility possible

Living on Bitcoin? It's not quite possible where I live and the same thing with most other places. There are exchanges and wallets that don't offer their full services to some particular places for a reason that's best known to them.

Just like Coinbase, they don't offer services to some places, they will allow you to have access to their wallet but you won't be able to purchase and trade on their exchange, but only make use of their wallet for sending and receiving. The worst ones are the ones that will ask you to verify your identity and still allow you to upload everything and after you have done that, they will tell you their services is not available to you yet, very foolish. Bitcoin is not known much where I live and people don't accept it, except those that are into investing, buying and selling of it.
There are only specific services that we can get from using bitcoin, the suitable wallet in my country is coins.ph.    There are a lot of feautes and services that they offered like paying bills, buying loads, buying game credit and of course fast transaction. But still we cannot live by just using bitcoin. Fiat has still a lot of functiond than bitcoin and for me it is better to use.
