My bitcoin usage depends on case to case basis. The majority of physical stores here aren't accepting bitcoin directly as a mode of payment and I think it won't be improved in the next 5 years until a big company will start implementing it locally.

As much as possible I will used my fiat for regular spendings on daily basis so that bitcoin is just saved. I have other source income so not a problem at all.

But like other people, there is a time that we need to do a force conversion for an urgent purposes.

I don't live on crypto-only because I can't pay bills and buy food with it.

Yeah, I also cannot live on crypto-only since it is impossible. In my country, Bitcoin is not allowed to be a payment tool, the government just grants us to use Bitcoin as a digital asset. So, I need to convert Bitcoin to my national currency for paying any things in daily life.
Well, nothing can be done as long as the government hasn't changed this rule. Never dream to see a hotel or restaurant accept the payment in Bitcoin if the government states it as an illegal payment tool.

I personally no longer use bitcoin as a direct payment because there is already a regulation in my country that in essence bitcoin is just not allowed or is still illegal if used as a means of payment. But even so, before I always use bitcoin and or other crypto to buy or make payments on a service that is on the internet. But that is just a simple reason that basically if there is a service that accepts bitcoin, of course I prefer it because after all bitcoin is a cryptocurrency that can be widely used, but on the other hand also because it is still very rare for a marketplaces that accepts bitcoin then that is also the reason why there are still many people who still need fiat and cannot fully use bitcoin for daily living.

People using bitcoin on daily basis mostly use it for buying services/barter.
Since Bitcoin is now more store of value than currency for daily spending, it fits better that way anyway.
Services build on top of bitcoin will be reliable enough to daily living spending. (lighting network maybe)

Bitcoin living for me is my everyday ways to earn bitcoin. But as to spending it, its really through exchange from btc to my regular currency. I still save some bitcoin in my wallet for future purposes. Sometimes there payments that I can pay through bitcoin whenever they wanted to pay in bitcoin. But mostly its really through my local currency.

I think that at the moment, even the most ardent fan of bitcoin and crypto world will not be able to buy most goods and services if he wants to pay only with bitcoin. The world of cryptocurrencies is too young and has not yet managed to gain confidence among the bulk of people. Several years will pass and the situation will change.

Who here uses Bitcoin daily or lives on the financial crypto market?

I personally use Bitcoin wherever I possibly can, and accept it directly without converting it to fiat immediately. I have been using Bitcoin daily for years. (Ever since Bitpay started improving its Bitcoin debitcard product)

May I ask where do you live? Unfortunately, the adoption of Bitcoin is too weak in my region so that is why I can not use it to the full, I have to interact with fiat money

Well for most of us, this just isn't applicable yet. I also try to use bitcoin, or even ether and ripple, anywhere possible. Though there's just limited markets where i can use it for now. Most of the time for online purchases only. The main use for crypto for me at the moment would be for trading. And i'm pretty sure a lot of us here deals the same way with it.

Locally I'm still way more into regular fiat payments because there aren't many places you can spend Bitcoin, but on the internet 9 out of 10 transactions of mine are in Bitcoin. It's much more convenient and I don't have to worry about shit services such as PayPal to block my account because they request more information.

Another thing I don't have to worry about is people requesting a charge-back. Most financial services always favor the buyer, which means that you as seller can wake up to a notification that x amount has been deducted from your balance to compensate the buyer. That's so fucked. Bitcoin eliminates that shit. You are the full owner of the funds once the transaction has been confirmed.

A lot of ATM and Bitcoin buying and selling points are currently being developed, this can generate in some businesses the incentive of payments through Bitcoin, the debit card I do not understand very well if when the Bitcoin is within what rate of change takes? Regarding CMC? Or any specific Exchange? That part does not clarify it in the article.

However, I prefer 100% to trade with Bitcoin as much as possible, and if there is no alternative to use, localbitcoins.com may be able to resolve quickly, a small part is sold by FIAT.

Everything that can be paid in terms of goods and services with Bitcoin is a great advantage, everything is in adoption, work is being done based on it, there is already much more acceptance than a few years ago, that is the positive part and that That interest will increase every day.

Do you mean to say that every time you transact, it's through debit cards? Some of the things that I would consider to pay for doesn't accept payment of any other kind. They are quite an old school type of thing, but they still manage to continue with their business. Not every store accepts even just credit card payments, which is sad. It's not that advanced yet, but I think the country would get there soon.

I do think life would become more comfortable as the technology improves, and once everyone practices cryptocurrencies, it would be better. That's the vision, IMO.

I don't live on crypto-only because I can't pay bills and buy food with it. I do however buy almost everything else with crypto and my income revenues include bitcoin as a payout method alongside all the normal banking ones and PayPal which is nice to see because being paid used to be a problem for me. They always wanted me to have a Paypal or something. The bank I use doesn't support Paypal.

How does the bitcoin debit system with Bitpay work? How has it been for you?
