I know what spread means.
The fact that these assholes can't put this on the main page but instead after the login just proves how greedy these assholes are. And their customer support is laughable, the reps are absolutely uneducated and dumb. Every rep gives me a different answer.

mate, if you are having real issues and have concrete examples of better exchange rates for a comparable service and/or bad service from customer support, please, pm and will look into it.

Otherwise, please, try to control your negative emotions and language, there is no need for anyone to read it really

Mate, if you want to provide a service to your customers, you might want to:
a) Be respectfull to them yourself
b) Don't talk bullshit. You are charging fees (a spread would be the difference between asks and bids, which is obviously not the case here) and you are trying to hide this from potential customers.

a) was referring to your language, when it's normal it is a constructive discussion, otherwise, it isn't
b) show me an exchange that doesn't have a spread and/or different buy/sell fees. Also, show me an exchange that does it for you instantly and with no verification process required. Most companies out there will charge you both - a spread and a fee on top, in our case you get what you see - nothing added or subtracted to the final rate you see when selecting the amount to withdraw.
The rates you are benchmarking against are purely informative rates - what can you do with them apart from looking at them? Convert your coins into fiat right there right then? In short, apples need to be compared with apples before publishing any accusations..

Very open to any further discussion if it is constructive and to the point

I just wanted to report that you have some kind of bug or something .
when you are logged and you see the rates and when are not logged (on the mainPage) and you see the rates , they are not the same as you can see here :
https://i.imgur.com/KzWlRt9.png
https://i.imgur.com/gkyvoDM.png
Comparing by other websites (like preev.com) , I'd say that the correct rates are the one when you see when you log-off . (430$ at the moment) .

This was clarified many times in this topic and the explanation was added to FAQ in the E-coin Help Center -> Fees & Limits section:

Hello,
We have this being covered in our Help article, and any support representative will inform you these are two different rates (on the main page and inside the account). We are not hiding any fees or lying to our clients.

This is because these are two different rates:
  • Buy rate - the rate you see on our main Home page. This is the rate you can purchase bitcoins with (to be available very soon).
  • Sell rate - the rate you see once logged in to the account. This is the rate you can sell your bitcoins with (i.e. load your card with USD, EUR, or GBR).

Is this a joke? They are obviously misleading their customers.
a) The only rate you see when not logged in, is a rate not used anywhere.
b) They claim to have no fees, yet when selling bitcoin to them, they give you a price 10-15 usd lower than any of the popular exchanges, which basicly is a fee of 15usd. If you are using this service you are actually donating around 2.5% of your money.
c) When reporting this, no reaction is given.

Today I login, and see this.
http://prntscr.com/9fqm7f
So the price is as stable as Preev? Exact rate?

And when I login
http://prntscr.com/9fqnbb

Since E-coin sell your bitcoins on exchange, there is a difference between the buy price (most companies show it on the main page) and the sell price (in your e-coin cabinet), called "spread".

I know what spread means.
The fact that these assholes can't put this on the main page but instead after the login just proves how greedy these assholes are. And their customer support is laughable, the reps are absolutely uneducated and dumb. Every rep gives me a different answer.

Denfor, keep in mind that if you want to withdraw from ATM.
There is a fee of ATM Transaction Domestic: $ 2,50.
So you are not able to withdraw all money and you get declined, and maybe any fee for declined transaction.

Just wanted to comment on my experience with the Visa card(GBP). Arrived quick, 4-5 days. I couldnt load it the first time i tried but thge system has been fine since. Once your BTC is in yr wallet it takes seconds to load the card.  You cant get cashback with it, withdrawals from cash machines are charged for. 1 thing you may want to make a bit clearer is that you can only load it twice in a 24 hour period unless yr account is verified. Had no problems using it in shops and was able to change pin in a cash machine . Over all im pretty happy with the service and i would recommend!! Smiley  I am in UK.

many thanks for your constructive and positive feedback!

do you remember why you couldn't load the card the first time you tried? would like to address the issue if there is one..

it was when there was some issues with loading last week, cant remember what it said , something like please try again later.

right, understood - that is to do with processing delays at the bank's end. We are working on it trying to minimize such occasions, but they still occur from time to time. Growth issues Smiley

I read that you do not ship cards to India. So, I'd like to know if I can verify my Indian address and send the card to my friend at another address in a different country ? He might send me the card later. In short, would you allow shipping to an address, which is not verified ?

We can only ship to the countries which are approved by our bank. You could technically order the card to a different country, but would not be able to verify an address in India, so, could use the card but only up to the lower limits ($2.500 max total lifetime load)

Okay, I deposited $17 into my wallet. It's 2/3 (Pending)
Before I order the card I have a few questions Smiley
1: How do I add PayPal funds to the card? I know you need to add it via Bank or something but I'm not sure how.
2: How long is shipping to Australia via standard delivery?
3: Suppose I don't have a phone, (broken) what would I do?
Thanks.

Hello,

1. As was mentioned before (most probably correctly), you cannot withdraw money from PayPal to MasterCard. And at the moment we offer MasterCard only. I hope we would be able to add Visa virtual cards back soon.
As for how exactly, I believe PayPal users will help with that (I am not acquainted with the interface or withdrawal procedure).

2. it takes 2-8 weeks. By selecting standard delivery option we also assume you take on the risk of possibility the card is lost or delayed.

3. You can just specify any phone number (fake one) as it is not really used much. Especially if you do not care about getting SMS notifications.

Thanks for the reply.
I ordered the card yesterday, hopefully it doesn't get lost because that would suck.
It is MasterCard, so I'll just have to exchange PayPal to btc to add to the card. Damn.
Oh and I said $33 because I already had $17, it is $50 total

Thanks for the faq link, looks like I'll need to make $33 for expedite :/

The expedite delivery costs $50. Not sure where you found $33 (could you please show me, I may need to correct this to avoid any confusions).
