The release date was 25 and is still not aveliable for minig. When this will be aveliable for mining?
I take it that the BTG (Bitcoin Gold) fork has something to do with the drop (http://segwit.5gbfree.com/countsegwit.html#) in SegWit transactions.

yh patience is very neccesssary in this matter.Lets wait till BTG announces an official wallet .lets keep calm because there is another fork coming in november (segwit 2x)

I am too waiting for the free coin to arrive on my bittrex wallet.They were supposed to credit early and start the trade similar to Bitcoin cash, but they have delayed due to no proper response from BTG developers.Hope I get the coins early to dump at a good price before it gets dumped hard.
It will be there any moment,and I think I will just hold it for a while and hope for some pumps, or just a little bit increase, I hope wverythinh to went well like it did on bitcoin cash before.

The price of bitcoin gold was set such as most expected less than cash. But it's strange why the price of bitcoin did not fall.
If I have private key of my Bitcoin storage, how do I move the Bitcoin Gold part?
i think they need to release the client of bitcoingold first like they did for bitcoin cash, otherwise you can not import the private key to claim your coins locally, all you can do is move your bitcoin to an exchange that support the swap
Not much info out on BGOLD except this article from August 30. After reading it I've become less interested. Why? Well, the article rightfully criticizes BGOLD's uninformative website and links jumping right back to main page. Enjoy

It's just a scam coin trying to get some free advertisement and exposure by being a fork of BTC instead of doing an ICO.
Unfortunately, imho, this will be the new method to make ALT coins now. Especially, with ICO’s
now being outlawed. I expect dozens of dubious forks off btc as a result. 😔
I think you're right that this will be the next popular distribution method for alts. In fact, I'd say it's already popular. But I've seen opinions from lawyers in the space (mostly just Twitter musings, to be fair) that distributing tokens via airdrop does not establish that said tokens aren't securities.
So we might see the hammer come down on these distributions as well in the future, from a legal perspective. At least you're smart enough to see them for what they are. There's money to be made from greater fools if one were so inclined.
