yes it can be said long-term investment, but not the end of this BTG price down is very significant, from 350 $ december ago to 80 $ it makes people not sure with BTG, I think BTG will not compete with its predecessor that is BCH.

Is bitcoingold still alive ? So many promises in the beginning and no progress at all I was hoping it will take a lead at some point , but emhh I was wrong.

If we talk concretly about bitcoin gold, then I think its very helpful. Bitcoin right now is just a gold or something else more than a gold, thats why the name it bitcoin gold

The fork in Bitcoin Gold is not open: GitHub's comments say that developers have (or will) split the chain from a specific block height they call "snapshots" (snapshot). They will release the chain to the public in the days to come, not now.

No exchange offering deposit for this coin at the moment you should have to wait till next update. We can check only our balance but to dump our private keys to get access there.
