Don't forget to send btc to a new address BEFORE you attempt this. You could lose all your btc.. The private key you enter to claim btg should be the OLD address you had before the fork.

If my BTC transcation to a new address is currently unconfirmed, is there any risk?
The private keys shouldn't have left my coinomi wallet, right?

Always good to wait for at least 3 confirmations. Always a risk with unconfirmed transactions.

Has anyone performed the separation of it's bitcoin from bitcoin gold? If so, what wallet did you use to do it?

I used coinimi. Entered my BTC private keys into BitcoinGold, waited, sent to hitbtc, waited 4h, and finally traded them for ETH.

ETH lol

Better than spending $20 on fees.

Could someone please share a link to the legid step-by-step guide on how to claim BTG if I have my private keys saved on time? Does someone actually managed to do that?

install coinimi wallet on your mobile, add BTG as currency, after installation click on BTG, click on 3 little squares on right top, choose empty wallet, insert your BTC private keys, follow instructions, wait until BTG appears in your wallet, took me 4h waiting,  transfer to exchange if you want to sell them for another crypto.

How many confirms are HitBTC taking to credit (sent from Coinami).

Is it a multi hour wait type thing?

I had to wait 4h

We all know that Bitcoin is mined by whales of the cryptoworld and massive corporations around the world. Bitcoin Gold was designed to help anyone mine Bitcoin Gold, with just the use of a computer at home or office. I would say it's more user friendly.

No it wasn't BITCOIN-GOLD was FRAUD from day-one, back in August 2017 it was a TOKEN-COIN, then it got rebranded as an alt-coin, then as BITCOIN-GOLD, and then as a GPU MINABLE BITCOIN.

Now its just another history lesson for morons.

NOBODY designed SHIT, they took the BITCOIN source and replaced the crypto algo that was SHA256 to EQUIHASH, they litterally just moved the crypto from zcash to their clone, they added NO VALUE, you can hardly call this a design, there are dozens of BTC clones that have EQUIHASH such as BITCOIN-Z, which trades for 2 satoshi.

There is a vital difference to BITCOIN-Z. The devs of Bitcoin Gold copied the whole bitcoin blockchain and started from that.
That does not really make sense and produces lots of overhead but attracks attention because everyone thinks they are getting something for free...

Hi guys,

Tell me please if https://mine.pool.gold/ is good one pool for mining BTG?

Cheers

There is ONLY one working pool for mining BTG, that be BTG.suprnova.cc

All the other pools were using the wrong block-chain and are currently in dispute, as they have no choice but to reset all transaction history to zero, and re-sync with the suprnova.cc chain which is the only correct chain ( being the longest under BTC rules of chain dispute consensus )

BTG.suprnova.cc has 95% of all blocks found, anybody  with an IQ over 80 knows there is no point mining anywhere else, unless of course your a shill, liar, or a fool.

p.s. Pool.Gold is affiliated with the same idiots that developed BTG, and for 3+ weeks pool.gold has been running test-net, and last I looked they were still re-directing test-net, that said never underestimate the stupidity of mankind, I think pool.gold will play the fools until they drop dead

What are you talking about? This pool has been made payout for more than 24h now. I've been mining there since launch. From what I can tell from the blocks found they are on the same chain. Latest block found 500015.

why does it keep on dumping? when was the time we're gonna make it on top?

Because of the block-chain problems it will take days to get everybody synced on the correct block-chain, once that happens then the exchanges can process orders and all the 'air droppers' will DUMP their $10 USD worth of BTG,should be a blood bath price drop.

There is no community to support this coin, even Jack Liao has disavowed this coin Smiley The father say's its not his child, the DEV's were all anonymous.

With no community this thing will plummet, all party's on the sell side

I think the exchanges will drag their asses on this wait for the price to drop near zero before they start paying out, as nobody wants to be holding the bag here,

There are NO BUYERS, only sellers,

Remember those BTG-DEVS must sell their 100k coins pre-mined, holding that shit is DUMB, they know that this coin has no fucking future. This is the reason they put no effort into the launch, or the testnet.

Scam coin spotted right ? Mess at launch, wrong chain for lot of pool, pre mining with ton of coin for dev.
Am i wrong here ?

Currently, the coin is at $214.63 on https://www.worldcoinindex.com/coin/bitcoingold

So obviously we are both missing something....(don't forget the pre-mine...they are killing it ..IMHO)
