FUCK YES, download your own full-node and things should work fine, that said there are NO instruction anywhere how to build a correctly functional NODE that generates the correct chain, I learned by 3 weeks of trial&error, and ditto for SUPRNOVA.CC that did it right before they went live.

I did the same and made some notes here.  They're far from complete but might be of help to someone.

Oh no... Figured out how to move by segwit address coins. But converted bitcoins to satoshis incorrectly and lost 90% to a mining fee. If there is any benevolent miner out there please, please, please return the coins to the address the remainder was sent to.

This is the transaction: https://btgexp.com/tx/a28063a818cb7acb66679427d5c71c82e71419e1fb258acaa7a7ed6617d17834

Intended destination is that address in the transaction: GWiXeStRsUBRzRM3iRLkK7tjWcwaATyZmo

Anyone know who mined that block so I can message them maybe? Please

All I really want is to sweep it into coinomi. I used bitaddress.org (code running locally) to generate the address. The original private key did not work in coinomi, key not recognized if I remember correctly, so I used bitaddress.org - wallet details to convert to WIF private key. Key starts with 5Jay. Does this key need to be converted to something else, if so, how. I don't want to download the whole blockchain to use the core wallet.

As of an HOUR ago, the different WARRING teams hadn't even decided WHOSE blockchain was correct most of the pools and exchanges under china/russian control were mining the wrong block-chain, ergo THEY ARE  fucked, U don't want to transact with a chain that will be deleted. Hold your horses.

Only a few hours ago BTG.SUPRNOVA.CC won the war, their block-chain was accepted as under BITCOIN rules the longest block-chain rules, the chinese BTG-DEV scammers didn't see it that way, but they lost out. The trouble is most the fly by night scammer pools, exchanges, wallets, ... are all using the FUCKED block-chain

I would give this thing a little while to wash-out

FUCK YES, download your own full-node and things should work fine, that said there are NO instruction anywhere how to build a correctly functional NODE that generates the correct chain, I learned by 3 weeks of trial&error, and ditto for SUPRNOVA.CC that did it right before they went live.

If U have the time, then yes download the github https://github.com/BTCGPU/BTCGPU/issues, and build the linux core/cli, and then you can get good balances, do your own transactions, and do gen your own addresses, for now assume that ALL the SHIT pools, exchanges and wallets on line are using the SHIT block-chain, most are still in denial, as it means that ALL BLOCKS mined in the past 32 hours are lost and must be deleted, its a fucking nightmare, but only the STUPID were harmed.[

Does any exchanger allow deposit BTG now?

I don't know about right this second but HitBTC has been working for me for the last 12 hours (on and off).

If I stick that address into btgexp.com I get: Search found no results.

Me too, but that's btgexp.com's problem.  You can see your address mentioned on btgexp.com when you look up the txid:
http://btgexp.com/tx/11f914b88918b734a879cddc0d911b1baf9916478cd2301065b6dca612992a1e
I've confirmed these details on my own node with:
Code:
$ ./bgold-cli -rpcport=8339 decoderawtransaction `./bgold-cli -rpcport=8339 getrawtransaction "11f914b88918b734a879cddc0d911b1baf9916478cd2301065b6dca612992a1e"`

I honestly don't know.  I've never used Coinomi.  I'm using a full node to manage my Bitcoin Gold.

i had BTC in my Bitcoin Core wallet from 10/16 and moved it on 10/28 however when i export the private key and sweep the wallet in my coinomi app it says "the private key does not contain any funds". on https://bitcoingold.org/ i checked my balance for my addresses with the same result(s) as the wallet sweep in coinomi

another odd thing... one wallet address had transactions for one day (.01 and .91) and i was only able to sweep that private key for (.01).

what is going on?!

If you're willing to share the actual address here we can investigate.  I've had no such problems myself.

I have the exact same problem, except this is/were a paper wallet. The address is: 19i24wX9EDemh1AKLBJB5mE7ShYay4XhBt

Bitcoin funds were present from 1 Aug to 10 Nov, yet I can find no BTG. If  someone can assist I'd appreciate it.

This address contains 6.75 BTG.  I see the txids on my own Bitcoin Gold full node (7 connections) and bitcoingold.org's balance checker reports the same.  Perhaps the problem is with the software you're using.

The Bitcoin Gold form of your address is: GSYwV4r6D5G4mUTcG7xHWXa1MsLRwKhKBH

Is anyone else having issues transferring from Hitbtc main balance over to trading balance?

Getting "An error occurred, please try again later" message.

I'm getting that error trying to move ZEC from the trading floor to my main account for withdrawal.

If this is affecting multilple coins and both directions then I imagine that fixing it will be their foremost concern.  I'll check back in 5 minutes.

I'm getting 'no-witness-yet' when trying to make a transaction from a P2SH-P2WPKH address. Is segwit active on bitcoin gold?

Confirmations seem to be taken more than 12 hours, after shit is found on btg.suprnova.cc

Quite long usually stuff gets confirmed in 2-4 hours

Just keep your shorts on be patient, no hurry

The trust level is VERY low, suprnova.cc doesn't want to pay out what's not there's, the ASSHOLES BTG-DEV are just pissing everyone off, with their demands to reset the block-chain, cuz the chinese didn't pull off the scam like they thought, turns out the people at suprnova.cc are 1000X smarter than dumb-fucks at BTG-DEV

Sour grapes, but it puts everything in limbo

***

We need MORE full nodes

WE need more time so the nodes get synchronized,

Hell even the source that comes with BTG-DEV doesn't have any seeds in the chainparamsseed.h, this is easy to GENERATE with python, the script is in /share, but the FUCK-HEADS never even properly configured, so what we have is a klusterfuck network, where nodes can't find one another, maybe this was planned by chinese so they could BAN non-chinese nodes and control the chain,

Who the fuck knows, but its VERY suspicious.

Re: full nodes – their current status "Deployment plan needed" (from the active 'TO DO' list – https://trello.com/c/wbbxw8mc/10-set-up-full-nodes-around-the-world)

I think it's mainly incompetence… suspicious incompetence but incompetence all the same…

What makes it so entertaining is it's all visible

Offering a bounty to produce a 'working' testnet a couple of weeks before the fork? And then saying it's too much bounty for just the testnet so you also have to produce the mainnet too?! https://github.com/BTCGPU/BTCGPU/issues/39

Offering a bounty to rush implementing replay protection? https://github.com/BTCGPU/BTCGPU/issues/51 Three days after calls to postpone the fork for exactly this reason?! https://github.com/BTCGPU/BTCGPU/issues/66

Adding a (then) undeclared fee directly to the core dev's wallet in the pool software and complaining when people call it out? https://github.com/BTCGPU/BTCGPU/issues/180

How many confirms are HitBTC taking to credit (sent from Coinami).

Is it a multi hour wait type thing?

I don't know about Coinomi but HitBTC is displaying incoming BTG deposits as pending after 1 confirmation and accepting them as clear funds after 6.  At least, this is the intention.  They are having some trouble and a couple of times now I've seen a transaction reach 3 confirmations before it's even acknowledged by HitBTC and take 9 or 10 to clear.

Also bear in mind that Bitcoin Gold blocks have been slower than 10 minutes each on average over the last 12 hours.

Finally, it works.
I used coinimi to sweep my BTG, transferred it to hitbtc, waited around 4h, and now I can trade them.
+1 it is working

coinomi on android doesn't seam to be able to read BTG addresses what app are you using?
