What?

Who has the most power over Bitcoin? Right, these are mining pools. Who is most interested in preserving the current block reward? The same mining pools...

Who gives a fuck what the pools do, it's what the miners do.

I see a .000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 00000001% chance miners agree to risk the value of bitcoin and change the 21 mill target.
The halvung of the bitcoin cant be canceled because it will happen when we reach the half amount of bitcoins you know so we want to get it cancelled but we cant let it cancelled
So if you think the halving wil be cancelled i say sorry that is not true.

Well said, at the same we can't say exactly that halving occurs because bitcoin is full of unexpected happenings. During the past halving none know something gonna happen and give all good earning. Based upon the past everyone expect for a halving. For this reason I believe anything could happen with the coming days.

Bitcoin halving is true and it will happen it cant be cancelled becasue there are so many people mining these days there need to come a halving only big companys will mine further.

No, the halving will not be canceled because "there are so many people mining these days there need to come a halving only big companys will mine further".
It can't be canceled because it's one of the fundamental principles of Bitcoin, i.e. a finite amount, and a rule written in the code itself. Changing the rule would destroy what Bitcoin is.
You are extremely right, instead we should just ride with the halving and do things on what we believe to benefits from this awaited event, if you are not mining into mining it would not affect to you because it will be on your favor when time comes, I am talking on the investors.

Bitcoin halving is for real and cant be cancelled so if you think he would be canceled because the miners are goint so fast that it is not profitable for others.
yes it was all arranged and scheduled in detail. when the miners had reached a certain figure then halving will happen. you can see here http://www.bitcoinblockhalf.com/. The remaining approximately 5 days.

The "certain figure" is every 210.000 blocks.

Thanks for that link! It was nice to see that the Market capitilzation (USD)=$10,697,019,219.00. Wow! That's a lot. For some reasons I've never thought the number would be so big. Well, I know it's "Total Bitcoins in circulation" multiplied by "Bitcoin price (USD)" but I thought the number will be lower because I remember it from times when Bitcoion was below $300 I guess.

It must happen or the amount of bitcoin to be mined will be easily depleted in just a few years. This happening is to control that amount to be mined. I must say you got a wide imagination.  Grin

Therefore it cannot be cancelled, instead we should be ready with it and make the right move, majority have speculated that due to halving the price will substantially increase, if we believe we ride and that's it.

Halving can not be undone, it is a natural process, laid down in the code.
It is like the weather: a more or less clear that after spring comes summer, after summer should fall further - winter.
It's like the world cup, which can be seen only once every four years. In fact, the event is so special that you can call it unique. We do not even really know what effect it will have on the market price of Bitcoin.
There were rumors of halving being delayed earlier but that's all FUD as nobody can actually stop it or postpone it.

Many people fear halving as this process affects the currency reputation and the price and hence try to spread these rumors by saying that what happened to litecoins can happen to bitcoins as well.
beyond the rumours for sure the halving will occur, and the reward change will reduce the number of bitcoins found daily from 3,600 to 1,800.

There is only one way to find out mate, we just need to wait it to happen and witness it, right now we are just full of speculation that the price will rise eventually and for me this is good like gambling, so just take the risk if we invest on it.

BULL RUN until 2030
July 03, 2016, 08:21:18 AM
Well I think halving can't be cancelled man because it is scheduled to happen in every 4 years. I think no one can cancel it unless Satoshi Nakamoto himself canceled it I think.

Not even by Satoshi. They could propose a change in the protocol but that should be accepted by miners. So, in theory it would be possible to cancel it, if the majority of the miners would agree. However, this is never going to happen, because it would destroy the fundamentals of Bitcoin, the value of bitcoins would plummet and the miners would loose their revenues.
The system cannot be change already and even the halving, that is the nature of bitcoin and it could happen. Only the price will change and the number of users so we should only base our investment on that figure to analyze with.

What has it to do with Fed? Rewards are designed to get halved every 210,000 blocks, and it cannot be stopped, then how can it be cancelled?
That's the protocol, so we cannot cancel it, and it is for the better of bitcoins.

Exactly, and why do we need to cancel halving? I like the effect of halving because the price will eventually increase and that would help the community to get the publicity we needed to improve and increase our users.
That's true halving can also help for bitcoin to gain more popularity which will result for a more adoption of different people around the world and if bitcoin will get more users the price will surely increase to the top and we older users will get good benefits from that. So we don't need to worry about halving i think only miners of bitcoin has the right to worry about that.
