Nah, Whales control it, because if you have a huge amount of Bitcoin that worth more than a billion dollars on your possession you could manipulate the market easily and controls its price and this is the reality. It's correct that Bitcoin is decentralized and no central bank or government controls it but it can be manipulated by people with a very huge amount of hodlings and this is one of the downsides of a decentralized currency. And one of the main reasons why a lot of people are here in this crypto currency industry is the market manipulation of whales that lure the majority of those greedy people to invest without getting or acquiring a lot of knowledge on what they are doing. This is true, it is not right to blame bitcoin for other user's using it as illiegal transactions. Those uses bitcoin as illegal transactions will be experiencing loses. It is really depends on us on how we run this system.

My view is bitcoin, a digital paradise. It's only 9 years old. But it is a tool that serves people's purposes.
