I prefer bitcoin because it is the king of the crypto and nothing can change that and also i do believe it is much better for long term investment and if you hold long enough you will gain a lot of profits in return
If in order to choose in terms of quality of course I choose bitcoin, but in terms of my ability, I prefer litecoin. and I'm sure litecoin will also give me an advantage.
I think most of us will go for bitcoin, because bitcoin was become a reference for all coin include altcoin, so i will go for bitcoin.
for me bitcoin is still better than litecoin because bitcoin can be much larger if you invested in it.

Bitcoin for sure, while the value of both is to some (large) extent is based on speculation, Bitcoin has the lead because it was first, has the mystique of the 'unknown developper' Satoshi (instead of a dev who sold his coins on ATH) and it has the backing of quite some influencers who compare it with gold (but better).
I think if you want to make money, to invest in LTC, but if you want stability, it's better to pay attention to BTC!

if for short term investment I prefer bitcoin, but if you want to invest long term then I suggest you better choose Litecoin to be an investment.

Bitcoin or litecoin? my choice is Bitcoin. For short-term or long-term investments, I think Bitcoin is a perfect fit. There will be significant gains, and right now I am still holding Bitcoin for the long term. But I know that these two coins have potential.

Bitcoin is at its place and litecoin is at its place...while litecoin is having very low transaction fees compared to bitcoins which is too useful while trading so I can conclude that litecoin is better for trading while bitcoin is better for long term investment 
I think for newbie, I think you can learn it first by investing your money to litecoin first to get more safety and we can get more coin with just a little amount money to invest. If you have experienced you can invest in btc because bitcoin is very expensive I think for newbie.
Personally, I choose bitcoin. Lightcoyne is certainly good, but he is just an altcoyin. At a long distance, bitcoin is more preferable.
