Is anyone concerned with this drop in bitcoin? I've only just jumped on the bandwagon and i've lost 10%-30% of my value already. I'm new to the market and enjoyed a good bit of stability and upward graphs for a little bit, so I thought it was mostly positive. Is this jump down a typical trend that results in pushing for highs again? or do you reckon it can be backlash of people shying away coming nearer August 1st?

I'm unsure if to try cash the coins to another altcoin or something to try gain some more value back or just hold for a while.
You should not worry about bitcoin price moving again your position as the price is definitely going to pump back to profit. The August first folks issues is going to favour bitcoin based on what expert are saying for now. You should not sell for panic and patient is the key here.

We should not be worried of bitcoin price drops. As we can see and observe, prices are fluctuating, it goes up and high. Have faith and believe in bitcoin, don't worry if now the price has drop very low. It will soon increase.
If you are trading on a daily basis and if the price goes down it will be really difficult to make any substantial profit as you might need to wait for a longer time and remember if your money is stuck it is not a good thing but one thing is sure that i wont be selling any coins at a loss.

NOthing needs to be worried. I have earned more than 500% from hold bitcoin and losing 10$-30% is not a big deal. Try to hold your bitcoin as long as you can because its price will soon increase after the segwit activation. And try to collect as many bitcoin as you can because in the future, you can not do that anymore

I actually lost 50% of my value with bitcoins current price right now but I'm not at all worried about the value that was dropping. Bitcoins price fluctuates ever since before but it usually increase or rise back up, so we do not need to worry about it at all.

Theres a thread at every drop of over 10%, its happened a million times before and it will happen a million times again. Yes there will eventually be a major bear trend but unless you think the bitcoin project is truly dead it will always recover.
that is the nature of every coin to increase then  dump and the tend continue from time to time. the price of bitcoin always has a great fluctuation, in previous time the price take a correction and come down to 2100 $ but there it got a good support and now the price again trading above 2500$ and still increasing.

Agree! one of the characteristics of bitcoin is fluctuating so it will dump and it will pump. Bitcoin is not always pumping so it dumps sometimes but it will not really dump until it would be dead it will dump a little. Over all nothing to worry about bitcoin it isnt going to be dead you should worry because the price is keeps higher and you dont have a bitcoin

without any corrections we should be worried about it. Like this when we have a correction every week or two is all perfectly fine.
August 1st will not change anything will be just another day. Price will drop before it and raise after.

That day is what worried me most. Because personally I really don't know what will happen to our bitcoin. I'm seeing a huge price drop during that day and succeeding days, but I hope it can rebound the price to what we are having right now. But for now I will hold on my bitcoin and wait for the day before making my moved.

Price of almost every coin just dropped! But i still think people should not worry. Sure, if you were to sell the coins before the drop, and bought back in now, you would make some profit (get more coins, yaay). But even if you just hold onto your bags, things will soon go back to normal. Not to mention that the prices are still higher than they were about 2 weeks ago.

Of course if the bitcoin price drop we would all be concerned about it after all we are the ones who are behind it,
Seems like other big investors are really waiting for the cheapest price right now so they could make some profit when the pump begins again.

It happens everytime , just keep holding it.

The price is currently holding at $2500 as per my Electrum wallet. But yes, I'm not worried at all. It be short lived and the price can pick up again. Maybe we are all just waiting for the price to really took off and get to $3000. We will be there soon. Just hold on our bitcoin and maybe just next month the price will peak at $3000.

Everybody is pleased with price going from 1200 to 2800. Even if it falls to 2400 it's numbing.
Everyone is probably busy finding the next coin to make 10x return
