...Is this jump down a typical trend that results in pushing for highs again?...

In the long run, it doesn't matter:

I'm seeing potentially excellent and long overdue entry point pricing on many projects with this.  Alot of genuinely crap sub-100sat coins have been rallying for the last week or two because the truly strong projects had grown WAY too quick and no longer looked like value investments.

Is anyone concerned with this drop in bitcoin? I've only just jumped on the bandwagon and i've lost 10%-30% of my value already. I'm new to the market and enjoyed a good bit of stability and upward graphs for a little bit, so I thought it was mostly positive. Is this jump down a typical trend that results in pushing for highs again? or do you reckon it can be backlash of people shying away coming nearer August 1st?

I'm unsure if to try cash the coins to another altcoin or something to try gain some more value back or just hold for a while.
The price drop was prolly some large investor that placed his money into Ethereum and decided to dump his coins this week. The price of Ethereum went down as well so I am not sure if the people went into another coin or if they dumped that coin for fiat while hoping to purchase Bitcoin later.

Nah!!! It does not worried me one bit. In fact its healthy for the economy. The fact that bitcoin had grown so fast, it should be able to meet the standards of human expenditures and affordability.

The price value dropping is typical for bitcoin cause it will once again rise to newer highs. I say, let it dip and buy lots of it while it is still low and if the price soar up again can now sell it or just keep it for the future. That's how trading works buy if the price is low and sell if the price reach highs or soar up. Dont be discourage by a dip because that's just how thw nature of bitcoin, it is volatile but you wont lost any of your profit cause it is a safe haven for your money as the adoption and support for this digital currency is global many countries and people use it and it has most supports from devs. Furthermore Philippines and japan already legalize it and in aftica and india they are using it as their main currency. So why fear a simple dip?

If you've experienced into such dump and have analysed the whole statistics from the start of bitcoin until now, you'll realise that there's nothing to be worried about. As from my experience that I even getting tricked by this kind of dump as well in the past, after this sort of price drop, there'll be always price recover and bitcoin will reach its new peak. When the price just gets dumped, people will think that it's the right time to buy, thus, the demand is increasing as well as the price, people are still hoping to always have profit and learning from their past.

No need to worry, because for sure it will go up again after a week or a month. It is natural in a currency like bitcoin, right? It fluctuates every now and then. Investors will be worried a little about their investments but they are still positive about the market. They are always use to it. So keep calm and trust bitcoin.  Wink

Its a common thing that when bitcoin goes up, after a week or month it will also goes down.  Dont be worried  about it, cause im sure bitcoin will recover ,these down is only made by profit takers,  and they will also make the price goes up again.

Its normal happening indeed and me too are not worried with the dump. Let the market dictates the situation. I know, after several time it will recover also.I think its a great opportunity to buy. Smiley

Anyone can be worried about the price drop of the bitcoin especially those who have invested a lot in bitcoin because of this jump down, the value of their investment also drops. For some instances, it is a good news for those who really wants to buy bitcoin because as the price drops, the value for the price of the bitcoin also drops so it would be easier to buy one and for the time that bitcoin would rise again, he would have the advantage because he's holding 2 or more accounts he bought from the last jump down. Though bitcoin price really goes up and down it only signifies that it is not consistent and the opportunities will be open for everyone even if you treated it as a good or bad.

I am not too worried about it, bitcoin price has been constantly going up for this few months, so it is a common things that it go down, if you hold it for a long time the price will go up again, but maybe the price won't go up so fast because the bitcoin dominance is keep on decreasing

If the bitcoin price is drop? All of us became worried, ofcourse but at the back of your mind? Or our mind? Do you think it's a good or bad thing? For me it's a good thing because if the bitcoin price drops? Automatic the people who wants to buy BTC can purchased one account because he/she can afford it if it's happen.
