There are lot of factors that affect the bitcoin price drop, one reason is ICOs and second is the incoming hardfork. Better to stay tune for bitcoin updates.

Lately there has been huge swings it is a bit scary but BTC seems to always come back. On a related note, it seems like there are a lot of ICO's lately. Has it always been like this and I just did not notice?

I agree the correction is probably not finished yet, i closed my small longs from yesterday and will rebuy back again lower. This time it can go sub 2000 imo. The question is if it goes from here or will go higher before continuing down.
Maybe weekend dump this time? Smiley

People like him just want to scare you into selling so they can buy lower

What?
I said I like BTC and want more.
I think you should also buy some.
All I am saying is this current dump is not over. It is going to be a bad one.
This is just based on my personal opinion based on life events.
There is a pattern with this stuff and I've seen it before.
I am usually pretty good at picking up on these type of things.
IMO this is going to be a big drop.
If you are in this for the long term it doesn't matter, we going higher, so hold your coins.
I'm just throwing my opinion out there for the group.
Take it for what it's worth.
And yes I will buy your coins when they are lower...I want more btc!

Im never worried when BTC drops, as i understand to make money on pumping it, it needs to drop, its common sense.
Cant pump the price up in a straight line, with the dumps they finance their pumps, its common sense, they dump, put buy walls, people dump into their sell walls, they get cheap btc.

Also to many very very rich people make a lot of money with pumping and dumping bitcoin, this reason alone makes BTC a very strong asset, they won't let their money making machine just die like that.

All crytocurrencies in the market is totally down not only the bitcoin and there's no need to worries about that because I pretty sure that Bitcoin were waiting the right time to increase again their price. Also this is the good time to invest again in the bitcoin.

When the total market cap drops everything goes red as this is large traders moving crypto back into fiat which casues everything to drop.

When the total market cap increases everything goes green as this is traders moving fiat back into crpyto.

Obviously a few large trading groups have decided to take their profits and make for the door but the last thing we want to do is panic sell as that will only make things worse.

Stay strong, stay confident but most importantly stay in the game!

Price fluctuates a lot. You should not be worried and would be better if you do not sell your coins right away. Sit back and just watch. I know that you are very nervous seeing all those red, but trust me. Look at the price chart, you will understand  Smiley.

Every coin has dropped, and I'm not remotely worried. In fact I'm happier if the price drops back a bit after every rise. It's healthy, and helps to prevent bubbles.
If it went up and up and up without ever dropping, I'd be very concerned.

If you believe in the tech, then ignore short-term price fluctuations and just hold. These are small markets compared to fiat, there is bound to be volatility.

The whole market is red right now.
This is the best time to buy if you have some extra money. In a couple days or a few weeks you might have 20% profit when things go green again.

Price of almost every coin just dropped! But i still think people should not worry. Sure, if you were to sell the coins before the drop, and bought back in now, you would make some profit (get more coins, yaay). But even if you just hold onto your bags, things will soon go back to normal. Not to mention that the prices are still higher than they were about 2 weeks ago.

No why would we be worried?

Bitcoin has gone through several crashes and devaluations.

If you people think crypto will become bigger everyday you're in for a bad time.

Rough days, even weeks or months are normal in financial world, even more on such a speculated market like crypto.

There's no need to worry in bitcoin price drop, because it is naturally happen due to some circumstances in the market. In additional price of bitcoin were not straighten down, it was fluctuates and it is sign of bitcoin were strongly fight to increase again.

Don't sell during crashes unless there's some concrete end of the world news for bitcoin. It will almost certainly rise back up within a few days  Smiley Weak hands never profit

In case of bitcoin, I am not worried at all. its strongest cryptocurrency of all, and will likely stay so for years to come.
If it drops lower, I'll be buying
