Employment and unemployment is determined by the system of a country and not by bitcoin! Or can bitcoin create million of work places?
The more Fiat money and debt is created, the more people have work. If the propaganda says we have a crisis now, people will try to keep their money in their pockets and a lot of people will lose employment. Bitcoin can not change this mechanism.
In the true sense of things, government does not create jobs, its main role is in the provision of conducive environments for businesses to thrive and new ones to spring up. Creation of jobs is in the hands of investors, entrepreneurs and now Bitcoin - crytocurrencies in general present enormous tools for creation of jobs and expansion of already existing ones. Does anyone have an idea, how many hardware companies, software companies, freelance coders, training institutions, investments companies, etc that have sprang up since the emergence of Bitcoin? All those are employers of labour and they go a long way to also generate huge revenue for governments.
This is not necessarily so
First, government itself is basically a large corporation which can expand (by creating more jobs and hiring people) or shrink (by cutting jobs and firing people). Indeed, in free market capitalism the role of government is rather small and limited, and the priority in creating jobs certainly belongs to private sector. But if we talk about state capitalism, government starts to play an important role in the labor market. Apart from that, in times of severe economic meltdown, a government can directly run and finance labor programs aimed at diminishing unemployment (e.g. the construction of
Hoover Dam in the US during the Great Depression)
