This should be In altcoin section because you mentioned altcoins many times than how much you mentioned Bitcoin  Grin Grin

Kidding aside , it is  not fair for Bitcoin to be compared on those altcoins when they only shows increase while Bitcoin
is still in struggle because you did not bother looking to how much bitcoin reached from 26k to that 36k you said.
I don't know what is your main intention here but I believe that you are here to present those coins that maybe
on your wallet.

Trading only Bitcoin will not bring much profit. Altcoins are good diversification
in our days now? yeah there should be diversification and alternative because indeed that Bitcoin should be for HOLDING but
this will take time and there are some altcoins that profitable in short term or in trading  daily so yes
we must consider also legit altcoins to take profit.

Both are profitable to me; in fact, it's the first time I've experienced a good profit in this industry in altcoins, not in Bitcoin. Because I can't afford to buy a large amount of bitcoin, I have seen no other alternative but only altcoins.
you have just lucky that time to purchase the altcoin that has a great growth at the moment but if not then you will surely blame altcoins.
because my experience is first hand in Bitcoin and just recently that i start gaining from Altcoin investmens .

And I didn't make a mistake in the decision I made where the price of the altcoins that I had during the bull run way back in 2017 also hit, and somehow there was also Bitcoin, and I also got a profit, just more than altcoins.
Diversification mate, Buy Bitcoin and buy also Altcoin in which you may earn in all of them as long as you purchase a correct altcoins.

Haha 😅
I don't think Bitcoin should be compared with alt coins. Bitcoin is the OG of the crypto space so if there be any important comparison I think it should be between alt coins only.
Altcoins are mainly suitable for trading not hodling.trading with altcoins also require experience and skills to avoid losses
I think you are right because bitcoin is not supposed to be use to be compared to other altcoins because have its ways and I believe that the technology of bitcoin is something different, so therefore altcoins is suppose to be use to compared to other altcoins instead of using altcoins to compared to bitcoin, I hope other people know that bitcoin is use to make other altcoins to be valuable in the market, have you also noticed that without bitcoin being increased altcoins can not have or experience a massive increment, this kind of thing is not something you can use to compared with bitcoin

Yeah alt coin are good but you can't compare it with btc. Bcus Btc is like the mother of alt coin
So no matter what btc coin still remains tha best...
Actually in this case it is a ridiculous situation if we still have to continue to compare bitcoin with altcoins because in the end the comparison can be made if what we are comparing is equivalent. As for bitcoin and altcoin, there is no equality in it so why continue to be compared because in the end we all know which one is the best.
Comparisons like this will only make altcoins worse but I also don't really care about it because I'm not in it for now even though at the beginning I was in crypto I was in altcoins but my focus now will only remain on bitcoin.
But indeed seeing from the OP who is indeed new (possibly because the account is a beginner) I still think this is very reasonable to be asked by them but the answer must also be clear that bitcoin is still bitcoin and it cannot be compared to altcoins.
Exactly, stop comparing bitcoin to altcoins. This comparison should stop. We all know that Bitcoin will be the top coin ever. Altcoins is just the second option, if you want to start investing in bitcoin then go for it, but if you feel that Altcoin will give you a good profit then for Alts. No need to compare just invest and earn.

Yeah, if he really a beginner then we accept it, but if he's here for too long then stop.

I think altcoins should never be compared to Bitcoin. Bitcoin is the best in the cryptocurrency world and is called the king of all currencies, where people invest the most and most people trust this currency. So if you invest in bitcoins you will never face loss and no risk, it will give you maximum security of your money. But whenever you invest in altcoin it is always risky for your money, and it can cause you loss at any time. Most altcoins turn out to be scams, and we have seen many coins in the past become scams where people lost huge amounts of money. According to that I think it is better to avoid these coins all the time but for long term investment Bitcoin is the best currency.

Most altcoins end up scamming those that invested in them, with altcoins the first investors and project teams are at advantage as they can get out of the investment with profits before it falls. Altcoin shoudn't be compared with Bitcoin indeed as Bitcoin wasn't created for making profits as that's how all the altcoins are. They're only been invented as the individual behave the project knows newbies are going to be interested as they're looking for the next big project to do well.

Investing in Bitcoin doesn't mean you won't face losses but the way you Invest will determine if you'll face losses or not. If you invest and hold your Bitcoin, you won't face losses but when you invest and always looking for how to sell and buy more Bitcoin later, you might face losses when you're not successful at doing that as you sell and the market rises. Many investors lose because of trading when they don't know how to trade or understand the market.
Early investors leverage many for profit, typically at the expense of latecomers. Compared to Bitcoin's origins and ethos, this phenomenon shows a fundamental difference in purpose and stability. Bitcoin is a technological and philosophical movement, not merely a financial asset.

However, your Bitcoin investing claim needs nuance. Even if "hodling" Bitcoin seems like a surefire technique against losses, market volatility can occur. Even long-term holders have seen value swings. Understanding Bitcoin's long-term potential against short-term market fluctuations is crucial. Altcoin newbies often ignore the hazards for immediate profits.

This is the false problem: people think that all altcoins are scams by nature, while Bitcoin is always safe. Both claims are oversimplified. Bitcoin and altcoin investments have different risk-reward profiles and require market and risk tolerance knowledge. The fundamental problem in bitcoin investing is understanding the intricate interaction of market dynamics, technology breakthroughs, and human psychology.

It's not wrong to say that most Altcoins are scams, but ETH is also an Altcoin, is it scamming you? Not only ETH but altcoins like LTC, XRP... are also altcoins and have you ever been scammed by them? Not only are they not scams, but they will also bring you huge profits if you trust and invest in them early.

It would be naive and biased to say that investing in bitcoin is risk-free. There is no investment that brings high profits without risk, the higher the profit, the higher the risk. Bitcoin may be safer than altcoins but it is also riskier and riskier when compared to traditional assets.
Bitcoin is the standard in the world of cryptocurrencies, which the entire market is guided by, it is clear that it will be the safest investment of all cryptocurrencies, but it still remains a high-risk investment.

There are no safe investments, there are only less risky ones, which include real estate, but there are no such investments that completely eliminate all risks, in any case, there is a possibility of losing the investment. Now it’s hard to believe that something can happen to Bitcoin, but if such a possibility exists, then there is no need to exclude it.

As we look forward to the anticipated bullrun come 2024, what altcoins are you holding and why do you think they will bring more returns compared to others?
I would never compare bitcoin to altcoins. Since Bitcoin halving will happen in 2024, it is likely that Bullran will start in 2024 or 2025. Bitcoin halving will happen next year, right now I think Bitcoin should be invested. I am not much interested in investing in alt coins. Because investing in altcoins can expect high profits quickly but carries high risks. I will keep 90% of my investment in Bitcoin and think it is appropriate to invest in Bitcoin as well as 10% in Altcoins. I will invest some amount in BNB and ETH among altcoins.

Exactly, Bitcoins is the first crypto ever introduced to mankind. Now they are comparing it with these worthless altcoins which are designed by seeing the Bitcoins only. Yes some altcoins give good profits in shorter period of time, but that doesn’t mean that they will be very valuable and as popular as Bitcoins. If you are planning to make some good profits in the longer run, then Bitcoins will be handy in those time. Hence, it will be beneficial if you invest your hard earned money in Bitcoins rather than any alts for steady profits.

There are many altcoins pumping more than bitcoin but I claim they are not as reliable. Bitcoin is the only digital currency that all cryptocurrencies depend on so there can be no coin better than Bitcoin.
2024 will be the best bitcoin investment as the bull market will start soon. But altcoin pumps high and sometimes gives profit but mostly a risky one. So I think it is better to avoid investing in altcoins and if you want to invest then definitely I think it is better to invest in Ethereum.

The general opinion of those around me is similar to yours. Most people invest in Bitcoin because it's a guaranteed investment and doesn't cause losses in the long run. The high risks of altcoins can sometimes scare people away from investing. The negative news we have experienced recently has kept people around me away from altcoin investments.

I think we should invest in Bitcoin during this period. Bitcoin is the safest harbor as we are very close to the bull season.

These are temporary fluctuations and wont hodl on for longer period of time and yeah I agree these have reached ATH when Bitcoin is stagnant between $35k and $38k, But that doesn't give these coins an upper hand as these are new altcoins an same thing happened with other established altcoins when they were new.

I would say the major difference between Altcoin and Bitcoin is one give quick returns with high risk while other give guaranteed return, one has sustained numerous challenges and roadblock while other is yet to be test at such level.

we cannot compare new altcoins with Bitcoin as it will lead us nowhere, But to further confusion and wrong decision making.

You’re right, but one thing we need to understand is we’re not in this space for stagnation, there are still some other projects that can pose good and have high profit making potential even more than BTC, we just have to DYOR and be open minded. Besides Alt coins like BGB, BNB & ETH still have a good potential for profit.

When talking about investing in altcoins, ETH might be the safest option but I don't think BNB is still a safe and secure option for us. I think you also know about the recent news of CZ, you should reconsider choosing BNB as the altcoin you will buy.

Additionally, investing in altcoins is not as bad as many people are saying. If we are careful in our research and selection, finding hidden gems is not too difficult . As I see it, too many people are adopting the outdated mindset of only investing in bitcoin and staying away from altcoins . Meanwhile, altcoins are bringing good profits in the market.

A lot of people thinks like you and look for the safe way to go with altcoins, and as you mentioned, ETH is one of those good options. But i like more the high-risk options, those shitcoins who can bump 1000% in 24h. Is hard to chase them but if you ride the right wave then you will find a fast way to multiply your cryptos. But remember, high risk can make us lose big too. So, play it smart.
I'm just saying that ETH is the safest choice when it comes to altcoins, but I'm not saying that I don't invest in new altcoins. Indeed, finding hidden gems or projects that bring high and quick profits is very difficult but not impossible to find. if we know how and stay in the right lane like you said we can always find them. But what I also want to add is, many people also come here for profit but they reject altcoins and consider them useless. They only look at the negative side of it and judge, if you look at the profit side of it, it's not as bad as people say. It's a pity that many people are wasting their opportunities with altcoins.

The cryptocurrency landscape is gradually taking a new turn and am loving it already. It's like the era of BTC dominance and dictation of other altcoins performance is gradually winding down.

TAO, KAS, BGB, TIA among other numerous altcoins are among those that have recorded ATH recently even as BTC struggle to hold up the $36,500 resistance.

Among other altcoins that have been impressive are ORDI, SATS, VMPX, WOJAK and PEPE1.

Fortunately there is an ongoing event for new users on Bitget where there is  $10,000 prize pool in the latest Hotcoins season 5 edition.

As we look forward to the anticipated bullrun come 2024, what altcoins are you holding and why do you think they will bring more returns compared to others?

That TAO honestly tried to invest there, and although it was expensive when I bought it, I think it's fine because it moves aggressively every day. I get profit here every day, to be honest.

which is able to help me accumulate in other cryptos that I want to accumulate in the upcoming halving, and I think that if I continue to get profit daily in these altcoins, it is good and in my favor, to be honest. Even up to now, he had a big dump, but he was still in favor because I was with him, so he was able to liquidate somehow. That's why I continue with my trading activity here in Tao.

The biggest difficulty with shitcoins is that you can’t invest a lot of money in them. It is difficult to predict which one will be able to grow so well and therefore you need to invest not large sums in them, besides, with shitcoins there is a risk that you may simply lose what you invest.

And with Bitcoin, although we will not be able to get such a big growth, this investment will be much more reliable, since Bitcoin is a coin that very significantly influences the movement of the entire market and it has become interesting to too many large players, for anything to happen to it.
