I think it's not a very fair comparison, because they are totally different currencies, so they have a different direction, for example ETH is a platform currency, which would be more comparable to NEO, EOS or Elastos, since all of them are in charge of development and bitcoin is a transaction coin like dash, bch or ripple, that could bring a topic of discussion.

For myself, I believe that bitcoin is a more reliable coin. Even if analyze the last 2 months, the price of the Ethereum coin has decreased significantly more in percentage terms than the price of bitcoin.

In my opinion BTC is the main crypto currency. Although ETH is really strong too, BTC don't seem to be replaced by any currency. I think the main reason is because people are interested in BTC the most.

Based on Bitcoin halving process, I see great potential in Bitcoin in 2020, I see it growing and having greater value in the near future. Ethereum on the other hand have its name known already and its value is really high. Its growth is continuously rocketing so I still pick Bitcoin as superior to Ethereum.
