bitcoin is great for investment as well as etherium. but somehow I prefer bitcoin this month. maybe because I invested in etherium and now the price touches 200 $ and I try to hodling as long as possible when my finances are bad
In the near future I do not believe that the etherium will be able to bypass bitcoin, maybe in 3-5 years if it develops rapidly, shows excellent results in work, comes up with a unique protection against hacking the network and so on. Then in that case I will say YES to the etherium. Now I'm keeping funds exactly in bitcoin.

both are just as good, bitcoin is the king of crypto, bitcoin controls crypto and becomes the benchmark price for other coins. while ethereum is a very young coin but has experienced a significant increase.

Bitcoin is best compare to ethereum but if were talking about the potential ethereum has more space to grow compare to bitcoin with to many price manipulators.
Etherium has failed us all very much in the last few weeks . the price has fallen too low, now I choose bitcoin

If there are serious doubts, then invest in both coins. One part in the ETH, two parts in the BTC. Still, it depends on how long you want. The BTC is optimal for the long-term, ETH is mid-term sooner.
BTC and ETH have different thoughts and they are from different platform. They are excelling from their position. But none of them are competition with each other.
